Pope to Mafia: You're Excommunicated

He is basically excommunicating himself. The mafia are part of the Vatican's troops world wide. If you ever have read mafia books, many of the mafia members worked hand in hand with local Catholic clergy. The mention of power, evil and money was irony at it's height.

BB,

Lol! Is all I can say.

Way back when I watched the Godfather movie, and I remember scenes where there was a baptism ritual for the boss' child and behind the scenes he had ordered his enemies to be killed. While they asked the parents in church if they had denied Satan and all his works, the scene would switch to the killings being carried out; and the parents would then be showed responding to yes after each murder.

Bergoglio should be careful. His organization is known to have "mafia" ways about it. They take money for "protection" i.e to usher one to heaven after death by way of "indulgence" or something to that effect.

Or maybe this is a PR stunt?

This may be weird to post but I have a relative from New Jersey, and well, the relatives I suspected as being in with the mafia or or associated with it, always were having dinner with the bishop. They had big money too by the way. I had one crazy extended relative who always told me stories about the mafia too. LOL I could write a whole blog :p about the crazy family. I believe the Catholic clergy and mafia are team mates.

Yeah I remember that scene too from the Godfather, remember how often they were at Masses and hanging out in church. Francis must think we all have forgotten the last 50 years. Yeah he better be careful, remember what happened to Bobby Kennedy. I think it's a PR stunt, it's just more of the acting to play outrage at the endless evils the Vatican probably profits from.

Damage control from his last comment of man being in control of God. Can a man excommunicate another human being from possibly entering the Kingdom of God. Even the thief on the cross asked Jesus to remember him and Jesus said today you will be with me in paradise. Luke 23:43. Why didn't the man that plays the pope say let us all repent and ask God for forgiveness, surrender our lives to God's Holy Spirit. He blasted the mafia for their money launderings but this guy flys off in a white expensive private helicopter into a palace made of gold. Why didn't he say let us pray for the salvation of these souls who are doing wicked things. Instead he gives the mafia the boot because he alone has the power to do so. He is in control, not God. Sounds like another script to be written and played out. Mafia vs. pope. Mafia angry with pope.

He is wearing the red cross of the Knights of Malta. From Wikipedia:Like the Masonic Red Cross of Constantine being inspired by the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and the Order of Malta being inspired by the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the Masonic order of Knights Templar derives its name from the medieval Catholic military order Knights Templar. However, it does not claim any direct lineal descent from the original Templar order. The Degree of Knight of Malta (Order of Malta) The Maltese Cross, symbol of the Order of Malta. This degree is universally associated with the Masonic Knights Templar. In the York Rite system it is conferred before the Templar Degree; in the 'stand-alone' tradition it is conferred subsequently to the Templar Degree. It is known by varying degrees of formality as the Order of Malta, or the Order of Knights of Malta, or the Ancient and Masonic Order of St John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes, and Malta. In practice this last and fullest version of the name tends to be reserved to letterheads, rituals, and formal documents.

The ceremony for conferring the degree (which is always worked in full) contains a mixture of masonic tradition, historical accounts of the Order of St John, moral teaching, and the communication of modes of recognition between members. A series of banners is employed in the ceremony, each representing one of the great battles of the historic medieval Order of St John, whose story is the basis of the moral teachings of the degree.
