How many "ODM's" are left?

I'm using Phoenix Preacher's phrase [online discernment ministries or ODMS] He uses it disparagingly, I'm using it as a descriptor.

Yes there's very few out there now. Independent ones, even far less.

I have seen many come and go. I know my postings have slowed down considerably and I don't do the heavier research of years ago. I've been sick for years but my energy has gotten more and more limited. Maybe slower is better then nothing....yes that is where I am at now. This is one forum for some to talk about issues that are NOT WELCOMED anywhere else, so I want to keep it going.

Phoenix Preacher may go on about those dastardly ODMs being a problem, but they have fallen away like dominoes especially the true independent ones. I get the feeling even sounding the warning siren-call has fallen out of vogue too. I am no prophet or guru, and sometimes I ask "Who am I to even post about these things?"

The pressure to conform can come via that direction too, the one world church is already using these things, that to stand outside it means you are the "nut", the "crazy" and even this one, "to stand outside the churches" means you are not a Christian at all.

PP's path into wafer worship will mean "acceptance" in this world. Sometimes I have felt "burdened" by the things I found out and wrote about here for years, was some happiness lost not being in a church with people who loved and cared about me? Did I ask too many questions, think too much? Funny I state it that way, I know. I'm not perfect. My husband has heard musings about me missing out on a "nice church" because of this blog and my desire not to be hypocrite. I'd probably would have been forced out of all of these churches anyway, having a big mouth and a failure to conform. I knew spiritually that would be happening anyway.

Some ripped on me for thinking I was the "worlds" best Christian" or "too pure" for church but I never saw it that way. I knew I was far from perfect but I never could shut down my mind or what I had learned via God's Word, and refused to "get with the program" they wanted me to get with.

I'm hoping now to post some "discussion topics" I can post as an "article" and allow for some discussion, I think that would be a good idea. Suggest any topics you would like to see here.

Also if you know of other "ODMS" still alive and running and NOT with an agenda as you can tell or discern so far, I would be happy to hear about others as well.

of course you can't conform because...

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be CONFORMED to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Yes we all should have a failure to conform in this places, definitely :)

When I start searching for discernment websites they start off sounding like truth but when you read further you see how off track they are from God's word. This is where they are either deceived or intentionally trying to deceive believers because of their wicked selves. There are luciferians planted everywhere and even call themselves Christians, talk like Christians, pray like Christians and even read the word...not to be transformed but to have dual spiritualities just like masons. (Black and white checkered floors) Some call themselves Christian witches who if you were not aware of their hand signs you would think they were the strongest of believers. They believe that Lucifer has two personalities, the good and the bad one. They also call him the Holy Spirit. We sat under one teacher who was an excellent teacher of the word until I spotted him doing so many hand signs when God's Holy Spirit made me aware. We say how can this be...the enemy comes as an angel of light. We are to sit at the feet of Jesus and learn from Him. I'm very skeptical these days, testing all things because of what I've seen. Would we like to have fellowship, yes but there is a cost and even then do we really fit in anyway? When believers realize we don't go to movies because they use God's name in vain along with other profanities they usually are not interested in friendships. Also we don't drink either so that rules us out there too. I think a good topic for this day and age is how can a believer be holy as God is holy? We all have our shortcomings in our flesh but what are we here for? We are here to love the Lord with all of our hearts and love our neighbor as ourselves. Do I care about their salvation, do I show the love of Christ, how do I use my mouth when speaking to others for the building up of the body? 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

The world dishes out a fake reality, like eating plastic fruit. We can bear fruit by abiding in God's eternal Vine. The fruit of God's Spirit does not compare to the decaying fruit of this world. We have not stepped in a church building for years so do not miss the organized presentation. Christians cannot fathom someone not attending a building. You go, you sit, you stand, you sing, you listen, you give money to the rich leaders, then you go home until the next week. I don't know where God's Holy Spirit can really work with that type of a set up.

Debra, there are false luciferians everywhere, and many ODMs are fake. I remind people here I am not a perfect person but I am sincere. My spiritual abuser, had a ODM, I won't give the name on here, though I questioned some of her legalism,I believe chances are she is a closet Satanist or Conintelpro. I had dreams about her as I wrote warning me.I know in the early days of this blog I wanted some support from someone doing the "same work"and it left me vulnerable.I would have Satanists and others sending me all sorts of emails. I had people I met online enter my "real life" too and trojans. It shocked me such a little blog got so much attention. Oh I saw on the spiritual abuser's website one of them making an obvious hand sign, we have to be careful with that as some natural gestures can come out but there's certain ones who are not natural. One creepy thing is that she constantly writes about human sacrifice on there telling people to pray about it and weird Satanic holidays I never learned about even in the UU. I didn't talk about these things as openly in years earlier because I feared people would think I am crazy but for those who are aware, the pressures to control minds and hearts is on in this world very strongly. Some ODMS, seem legit, but then have ONE POINT where everything is steered wrong. Be careful of Cathy Burn's books for instance, I was going to post about her soon, the time issue gets in the way, but her books steer towards a works gospel and little grace. She has excellent research but then there is that certain "point"of distraction. These legalists will drive people insane and preach a God only of judgment and no love.

God has shown me even some unusual things about my family, and I have chosen to depart from my ENTIRE family network. They are "connected", they are not high levels, but "connected" enough, and I recently found out more.

Some of my spiritual battles of late have been facing the fact of complete division from any "relatives". I have decided on complete separation now from the entire family. It goes even beyond the narcissistic and sociopathic abuse. Some I put on restricted status on facebook so my departure will not be immediately noticed.

I may not be really related to these people but that is a long story in itself. The one homosexual cousin, who has turned both of his teen children homosexual--they are open and completely OUT, including have one daughter who was feminine and prettyn[she has no hormonal disorders] now taking on a man's name, sex hormones and possible multilation has upset me beyond the pale and this is just one snippet of the debauchery and evil. These things are supported by the rest of the family [some Tea Party Republicans and church goers] and my spiritual divide grew and grew. They tried to censor me.I do not believe in haranguing homosexual people but just the fact of my testimony was enough.

I admitted to husband I found churches BORING,and I am glad I do not go to one.The fellowship is not natural and intimate, there was some in the first IFB,but even that had it's limits and that church collapsed as soon as the pastor moved away from my economically devestated old town, that happened only a year after I left. What does it say that he was the linchpin holding the whole thing together and that church is no longer open.

Christians real ones are trying to seek God's truth.I know I had enough oflegalism and a long list of rules from spiritual abusers, but the things of this world are rotten fruit. You are right about that. I agree about love of neighbors. I like and care about a lot of people who go to church around here, I have asked, "why don't they see what I do"? but I do believe I am to be kind to them and try give truth to others. Who needs phony formal interaction? You are right it is a waste of time.

This is the question, what are you looking for in a fellowship? Do you expect most of the sermons to be about the New World Order? Or do you expect the bible to be preached, the word of God? For me, I want the bible preached not constant talk about the the new world order. That is good to warn as well but the whole council of God needs to be preached, the sermon on the mount, the gospels, the epistles, the torah, the prophets etc. Jesus says that we live by EVERY word that proceeds out of God's mouth.

Another discernment ministry which comes to mind is that of johnnycirucci.com He mostly deals into the deception led by the Jesuits and Freemasons on the secular side of things which is intended to bring us back to Rome and destroy Christians. He was raised Catholic and became a Christian later in life, now home "churches" and believes the "churches" have been infiltrated by Jesuits/Freemasons. If you listen to his podcasts beware that he can have a foul mouth (says he's working on it) and sometimes briefly plays clips of music from what is supposed to be a Christian Rock band - bleh - sounds like heavy metal.

BB, just saw your post that you will be posting more about Cathy Burns and am looking forward to that. Recently, I was checking into ordering one of Burns' books and saw that her husband does an online Christian program called HomeWord radio. I thought this has got to be a safe one, but as I was looking at the lineup of speakers the first one was Doug Fields a pastor for 18 years from Saddleback Church. Hmmm. Anyway, Cathy Burns analysis of Tom Horn's book helped me see the truth about the deception of Horn and his Skywatch TV, so I figured that a person could trust what came from her and her husband, but apparently we still need to discern the discerners!

What do you think of Roger Oakland and his website "Understanding the Times". He went through a rough patch a few years back but seems to be back on track. He is very clear in exposing Calvary Chapels and the road to Rome.

I have found that several of the ODMs are Calvinist so that taints their articles although they do often contain useful information.

Bible Believer said...

Thanks I will check out that Johnny ODM

Yes I am going to dig out the Cathy Burns books, good researcher I learned a LOT from but that pivotal point what an immense one....reminds me of Constance Cumbey with her New Age warnings but a pivotal point of loving Rome.

Thanks for telling me about Cathy Burn's husband, I did not know that. Wow she is against the one world religion openly so why would her husband support a speaker from Saddleback, it's odd isn't it?Unless her and her husband are on completely different pages.

I don't trust lighthouse trails, lonnnnggg story from several years ago.

Same for Roger Oakland...

see these posts from some time ago. I forget how long I have done this blog...

make sure to read the comments...

I agree about Calvinist ODMs, there's a lot of "Christian Truther' websites that push Calvinism on Facebook for some reason.

Roger Oakland, and Lighthouse Trails are still in the false Christian Zionism matrix...

Reason I don't trust Lighthouse Trails:

http://galatiansfour.blogspot.com/2011/12/more-from-news4themasses-chuck-smith.html

If you are in Calvary Chapel and reading this, try telling your pastor that the Catholic church is the harlot warned of in Revelation, and see what reaction you will get. I promise you it will be very interesting. I still remember the offended look to this day. Read the blog entries warning about the one world religion and know you must "come out of her". That includes all false churches. And NO, Catholics are not Christians too. A few in there may be searching for truth, or just about to leave but that's it. I left the Catholic church within days after I was born again. The Holy Spirit will expose what the RCC really is to any born again believer, it teaches a false gospel and presents 'another christ"-The Eucharist-idol. One thing too, where are all these dissenting Calvary Chapel preachers that Lighthouse Trails keeps mentioning? Those have got to be some of the most quiet guys out there in the world, because I sure haven't heard a peep from any of them.

An article exposing Roger Oakland and why he has refused to expose Chuck Missler:
Roger Oakland: A Fraud Perpetuated upon Believers

Thanks for the article. Be careful over there.I had some weird moments over at discerning the world but the information is of interest.

It is true Roger Oakland never spoke out against Church Missler as far as I know.
