Reforming Personalities for the New World Order #1: Life Achievements As Everything
I don't support this video, I am using it as an example. Omeleto is not the only organization promoting these ideas about life. This is going to be a series called "Reforming Personalities for the New World Order". I am going to post examples of the philosophies promoted and what they desire people to focus on. These are matters that affect people's personalities. Culturally a lot of what I will be focusing on is uniquely American, but these Western ideals are being imported to many areas of the globe.
One of the biggest is Life Achievements As Everything. When they speak of "dreams" they speak of achievements. One thing I had happen to me is people telling me, if you find different successes it will bring your self esteem up. What if I told these people for what little fragments of health are left, a lot of my personal paths are not ones that bring money or even what people would define as success. America has become so focused on competition, that to matter as a person now, you must have success. In the video he points out Beyoncé and Steven Spielberg and Oprah as examples to follow. Celebrities for the unsaved are the ones people desire to emulate. Religiously in your mind, please acknowledge these words in the Bible:
1 John 2:15-17King James Version (KJV)
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
If you notice a lot of motivational speakers focus on this. Even Rick Warren focuses on Life Achievement, when he asks you about your Purpose Driven life. More and more of the false church focus on "life achievements". People take this stuff seriously. I saw this video shared online. It was a popular one. How does this influence people when everyone is busy with their own "song' and focusing on life achievement as the meaning of life? I am not against people making a living, or doing projects or getting fit at the gym, but what is it doing to people when life achievements are the sum total of everything. Wouldn't a person's biggest regret be rejecting Jesus Christ and ending up in hell? The love of life, the love of success is impacting personalities. The competition quotient is increasing. Just being and just being worthwhile as a human for existing now is not enough, you have to be on the constant succeed or else path!
This is how they are impacting personalities in America. I noticed it myself moving from a very rural and relaxed area to a bigger area where affluence and careerism reigned. Everything was about the day calendar and checking the lists for the goals in sight.
The man in the video is alone in that field, with mountains on high around him. There's no one else in sight. He's spinning his arms around. What can I have? He desires to "gain this world". This is something impacting personalities. The Bible calls it "high minded". See the book of 2 Timothy, chapter 3. I have noticed over the last two decades this message has gotten stronger and stronger. The message of you must achieve to be worthy, and not just be an ordinary working person, but be extra-special with a dream or gift that earns you fame. It's not even realistic for most oppressed or poor or working class people on planet earth, many of whom struggle just to survive day by day to feed and house themselves.
This is changing people. I see it. Do you?
