Transhumanism and Interfaithism Combined
This freaked me out when I saw it, all these interfaith types sitting around discussing human cyborgs and implanted nano-technology into human bodies, and most seem to think it's something wonderful! "It would be wrong to limit human evolution to the physical body!"
They also praise the "evolution" of consciousness and discuss how the human body is too limited and prone to age and illness. One man states: "I do not think religion should oppose science or technology or our attempts to perfect our bodies." "The final state must be a divine body"
The Orthodox bishop states, "Evolution is a reality we cannot deny." The Orthodox man at least has some reservations about the technology. The problem is that all the false religions will be paired together in seeking the "evolution of the consciousness of man".
The Buddhist seems supportive saying that the "avatar" project wishes to help people. He speaks of a Bodhisattva leaving a decaying body and entering a new one. I believe this is the belief when it comes to the Dalai Lama, that he is possessed as it were by the spirit of an older monk who had become "enlightened". Keep in mind a lot of our "science" now is being led by false spiritual agendas.
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
