Truth and Leaving the Churches

I saw this meme the other day. One could state too, "IN KNOWING THE TRUTH, I HAD TO LEAVE THE CHURCHES".  Read God's Word and see what doesn't match. It got me out of the Catholic church and even took me out of the IFB. The whole Christmas and Easter thing bugged me and there was time I was sitting in the pews knowing the truth, while those around me celebrated both. More people are leaving the churches. I have witnessed to people who listened and saw what I have, it's rare but they know something is wrong with the church system. I never met a church pastor in my entire life who knew the truth about those holidays or admitted the truth about Dominionism or the Republican party. For now, I have given up on believing one outside of some "insiders" even being out there. The churches are ready and waiting even for more extreme deception.

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11

My wife and I have befriended a potter and his artist wife recently, he also happens to be a pastor. We have had some good discussions about the church building system. He told me last night that He had canceled the churches sunrise service this year and that he would be leaving in June. I think many know, but tradition expectations. - Don

Where would the Pharisees be without a temple? Where would the money changers be without a temple? Where would the people be without a temple? They don't even know that the temple is our bodies having been filled with God's holy Spirit. Jesus no longer lives in temples made with human hands. Acts 7:48-49 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?Acts 17:24-25 24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things
I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Leaving the Church is forsaking the gathering together of the Church. You cannot be part of the Ekklessia, the GATHERING TOGETHER, without actually gathering.

@Anonymous poster from the 28th:

Where would Christ have been without the Temple? He wouldn't. The Temple was commanded by God. Having a place wherein we gather to worship the Trinity is something God gave us, not men.

Certainly, the people in any given parish, congregation, community, or whatever other word you wish to use are imperfect. There are even Orthodox Churches where I would never feel right taking Communion, because I do not feel that I would be telling the truth by saying that I am in Communion with the people there, whether due to heretical doctrines or heretical practice, and I am an Orthodox Christian.

But this whole idea that you can find the truth outside of the Body of Christ is bunk that is sold by the devil. He loves when people lose faith in the Church. He loves when people do not trust God enough to work in and through His Church as He established it, described by Paul as the Pillar and Ground of the Truth (depending on your translation, your Bible might use Foundation or Bastion in place of Ground). So we have a conundrum here. If the Bible describes the Church as the Pillar and Ground of the Truth (which it does) led by the Holy Spirit into all truth (which He does), then how can one claim to believe the Bible and not believe that he can find the true Church?

I'm not talking about the buildings. I'm talking about the gathering within the buildings. You will never find a gathering wherein every person is perfect, because the Church is not to be a museum for the saints, but rather a hospital for the sinners. He didn't come for the righteous among us. He came for the people who struggle with pride, lust, anger, gluttony, avarice, and all of the human passions which were corrupted by sin. All of these vices will be found in your local gathering, regardless of where you go. What I can say, however, is that if there is no gathering wherein the dogmatic Truth is taught consistently, then Christ is a failed prophet. I could never follow or worship a god that is too weak to preserve the Body of Christ with the same dogma and unity as it had in the first century, with distinct gathering places, because that god is not all powerful. Why would I worship a god that is fundamentally limited from fulfilling the prophecy of his son?

Acts 8:4 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
I Corinthians 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
Colossians 4:15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
Philemon 1:1-2 Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow labourer,
2 And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

Jesus does not live in Temple buildings, He lives in us.

Too many get stuck looking for buildings and manmade organizations.

I agree Jesus does not live in temple buildings, He lives in us. The false churches take people into looking for the man-made structures, buildings and rituals.

Others were interested in "temple" building too...

To William Sculley,

Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in My Name, there I am also..."

Many of us having meaningful and godly worship and fellowship outside of the organized, institutional 501c. 3 church system here, that is actually a puppet of our American government. When a man-made church joins hands with the government, it becomes a joint venture with the policies of the secular world and is under their control, due to the so called tax free status. I have heard angry and bitter preachers condemn those of us who do not desire the 501c. 3 status and have used the same wicked strategies in claiming the body of Christ must meet in building made with human hands for this is the 'assembly.'

No, God's Assembly, His Ekklesia or called out ones can meet in a home, a local café, or fellowship while shopping in a store in bringing his saints, sometimes complete strangers together by the power of His Holy Spirit in edifying His saints.
Not every person sitting in a 501c. 3 church is born again in His Spirit, but just going through the christianese motions for you will see and know them by their fruits.....they lack a true love for Jesus and a true love for their neighbor and His saints.

I asked William once, why be loyal to a church that can't even get the first commandment right? His patriarchs hobnob with false religions all over the place, in the Pope's service. Even his ranting against "protestants" means nothing as his head patriarchs go to schmooze with the fake evangelicals and other brothers of the harlot. I have endless posts on this blog dating back to 2010 proving the Catholic church is forming the one world religion, and how I was UU and they all taught the same lies while worshiping their false wafer idol. And William tells us to be loyal to these church systems even knowing they promote the lies that "god" exists in all religions.

I left the Catholic church after being born again to be loyal to Jesus Christ. If I had time, I am sure I could post about the patriarchs schmoozing with the Buddhists, Theosophists, and freemasons. Orthodox "Christianity" even has a higher level of Gnostic lies, American Catholicism got protestantized a wee bit to make it more acceptable to the masses here.

Why keep false fellowship too? William had to see the article where I posted about the church I left where they praised killing for the neo-con wars for the Pope from the pulpit. I walked out never to return. According to the physical temple defenders we are supposed to put up with those who spit on the first commandment, and who even preach evil lies from the pulpits. I don't need to remain under some smiling pastor who pushes Satan's lies. I even warned the guy DIRECT about the new world order and one world religion and sure something was said about the Pope's wars. I can tell he was GLAD I left. I made him nervous maybe because his sickening praise of the Republican party raised zeniths I couldn't even tolerate. William and many Catholics too abide by their pagan Pope and leaders even while knowing they teach lies but it's all about loyalty to the system and the men with funny hats keeping people within their power and control. Even talking to some real Christians here, is far more edifying then anything I ever had in the false churches. Most of the time I was either ignored or merely "tolerated". If you are seeking the truth, even if you don't leave, they will find a way to "force you out" or isolate you.

RE: Anonymous from April 1

That verse is related to events happening WITHIN THE CHURCH. It is about Church discipline, not worship. Just because two people get together and claim to be worshiping Christ does not mean they are the Church. The Church is defined by the Scripture as this:

1. Never ending of faltering. The gates of hell prevail if the Church falls for even one second. Therefore, if the blog owner here is correct, then Christ is a false prophet, because his prophecy concerning gates of hell is a false prophecy.

2. Led into all truth by the Holy Spirit.

3. Built on the Faith which is given only once for all the Saints.

4. Unified on that one Faith. It is one Body, with one Faith, with one Hope, with one Christ.

Just getting a couple random people together in the name of Christ does not constitute the Church. Many people will say that they gathered in His name, but if they did not make themselves part of the one Body, then they are not truly meeting in His name, but in the name of the people they see in the mirror.

RE: Bible Believer at 7:59

Your entire first paragraph is a giant lie. It isn't worth even responding to because all it is based on is an ignorance of the results of those meetings, in favor of the fact that they met. Considering that the Patriarchs have all said that unity with the Protestants and Roman Catholics is impossible unless they change their doctrines to match the Apostolic faith. According to you, the fact that Obama has at one time been in the same room as an owl, he is an owl.

There will never be a time when the Orthodox Church compromises its dogma in the name of unity. There have been dozens of attempts to unite Rome to the East, and they have all failed. Every single attempt has failed.

The Eastern Orthodox Church has never and will never take orders from the Pope. That's a giant lie and nothing more.

God is calling his remnant out of the 501c3 churches the church has enter into a marriage with the state that is spiritual fornication..REPENT!!

So are you saying William, that an individual cannot be a Christian, a believer in our LORD Jesus, the Christ, without attending or being a 'member' of a 501c.3 church system here in America?

So the fellowship of God's saints cannot meet together in twos, or threes, or even ten, and worship our LORD in spirit and truth?

Are you saying that we must be lorded over by a pastor and the rights and schedule of a religious service in which the order is not referenced in our Holy Scriptures?

Are you calling many of us who have come out of abusive churches, unsaved?

Bible Believer said...

William being Orthodox believes wholly in that church system and like a Catholic believes that is the church of "jesus".

So yes he believes in the organized false religious system.

William your denial of the one world religion speaks for itself. Just a lot of quibbling denying right what is in front of your eyes. I got lenient putting up your posts this last week but I'm not going to let this blog become the Orthodox channel.
