The Lust for War Grows

[not an endorsement of Fox news]

Can anyone even keep track of whose fighting who anymore?

You can tell the war-mongers are lighting as many matches as they can to spark off World War III. Some say World War III has already started but just not gone "hot" yet.

Why pay any attention to what is going on? It may be interesting, but shouldn't our interest be in getting closer to the Lord. We don't do this by looking at all the wickedness out there all the time, or who is warring with who. We will never know the truth of that. It's a matrix of deception.

As the Bible says, this is Lucifer's kingdom here on earth, and if everything(governments/news sources/media)is infiltrated with lies and deceptions to deliberated evoke certain reactions from people, then isn't it just a waste of time and a distraction.

The Lord said that there would be wars and rumors of wars, but I think that we should direct our attention back to Him and His Word. The Holy Spirit will let us know what we need to know, and what we are to do. The world is just a distraction. Refocus.

The Lord told us numerous times to not be deceived. And he also said to WATCH. We are to watch and pray, and know what's going on so that we can warn others.

We are not to be ignorant of the enemies devices. Primarily, we should be focused on the Lord, His Word, our personal walk with Him, and bearing fruit in keeping with repentance. We don't study the dark world to 'not be deceived'. We study 'truth' (the Bible) so that when we come across error and deception we recognize it. If you are constantly watching what is going on in the world YOU WILL BE DECEIVED. When Jesus says to watch, it means to 'be aware'. We are told to be 'awake' and 'vigilant' as well,.... always ready, because we may not wake tomorrow. We are told to MEDITATE on the Word of God, NOT on the activities of WORLD. I was deceived 5 years ago because I was focused on what was going on in the world instead being focused on Jesus, the Word, and my personal walk. I was given a correction a couple of years ago(again) from the Lord. He said, "The news is not going to save you". REFOCUS on Jesus and study the Word. The Bible does NOT tell us to 'study' the world-darkness-sin. Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. Watching the 'happenings' in the world causes 'fear' 'anxiety' and 'depression' in people as well as desensitizes them. It distracts people from being fully present with the Lord. You will never know what is really going on from listening to 'Lucifer's servants' on the news. God's Word is sufficient.
