Captive: A Movie to Advertise Purpose Driven Life?

Some commenters told me about this movie. It sounds like one big advertisement for Rick Warren's book Purpose Driven Life.

'Captive' tells how Rick Warren's 'The Purpose Driven Life' changed lives of drug addict and her captor

"The new faith-based film called "Captive," which stars David Oyelowo and Kate Mara, tells the true-to-life story of meth addict Ashley Robinson (formerly Ashley Smith) who was held captive by Brian Nichols, and how both their lives were changed because of Pastor Rick Warren's bestselling book "The Purpose Driven Life."

The gospel of works and "world service" in Purpose Driven Life, isn't going to convert anyone to Jesus Christ. Brian Nichols the real life criminal in this story, converted to Islam in prison. She also gave him meth too. It sounds like they scraped the bottom of the barrel for this story.

Purpose Driven with its diminished Jesus = Crowley's Law of Thelema!

Is this another Roma Downey movie?

Yep, meth and islam, that's the result of the "purpose driven life". Hey, those are "purposes". From satan.

Yes, the Purpose driven life teaches works for salvation. Rick Warren is a catholic man, as he endorsed catholic books calling people to leave their churches and go to catholicism.

All roads lead back to Rome.

Rule of thumb: if it's a best seller, if it's in a movie, if it's on TV talk shows, ifit's in all the 'churches' - it's false.
