War Room

Here's the new "Christian culture" movie...."War Room". A lot of disturbing military lingo to describe prayer. It sounds like some NAR types had their influence on this one.  Prayer is a good thing but this is "Christian" "triumphalism" to the max on display here. It looks like they do the praying around the pole too. Lots of homage to "sun" in this one too. Lord help us all. [1:13 and 1:16] Have you ever raised your hand to the sun in prayer? I sure haven't, because it kind of makes your retinas hurt and it's forbidden in the Bible. The sun is only creation. Notice his hand, in the form of an "W" with the two fingers together in the middle?

How War Room Bucks Christian Movie Trends [not an endorsement]

Oh my goodness, Beth Moore is in there, too. Yeah, raise your arm to the sun. Creepy. So much drama. Ugh.

The movie seems to be promoting "contemplative prayer," from what I have read so far.

Hi Bible Believer,

At :29, you see the number 81 at the top of the stairs. They.... the/Satanists/occultists put things backwards. The 81 is 18 and stands for 666. I prayed before I watched it and that is what I was shown in addition to what you have mentioned. The people in the movie also seem to be 'spellbound'..... or in a strong delusion. Also, at the end of the trailer when they list the name of the movie, the mark in the 'o' in 'room' is occult symbolism. Everything they do is marked. It's probably not safe to watch anything, because of their intent to deceive.

I know that when prayer was aloud in the high schools in my town, the kids met around the flag pole. I will definitely see this movie and review it on my blog.

BB, strange people must follow your blog - not Christians. To see what I'm referring to, check out the last commenter "Shelly" blog. Interests in paranormal and likes the Twilight Series amongst many other things.

Hi Faith. I asked a young man years ago why he had 666 tattooed on his arm. He said it meant 18. For 18th Street gang. Yeah, they mix stuff around and then turn it upside down or backwards.

Beth Moore the Catholic woman, and of course Catholicism is the destination of the NAR and dominionism movements. Meeting around the flag pole is the pagan phallic symbol pole meetings of the pagans of ancient Europe.

Hey I am glad Shelly is reading here. Hope she will rethink the paranormal stuff if it is on her blog, I didn't see that part just took a quick glance.

The gangs use symbols that all are rooted from other occult areas, like the three pointed pitchforks I saw years ago as the symbol of one gang. I used to see gang lingo all the time, now I would be stuck in the 90s since this was many years ago don't know the recent stuff, but different derivatives of 666 were quite popular, hand signs, that all seem to be derivatives of the 666 "ok' sign.....I doubt most of the teens know the real meaning behind these symbols but they are used.

Thanks Faith for warning of the other things displayed, I noticed the O as well in the title but forgot to mention it.

I wrote about the false flag pole prayers a long time ago...

At Liberty Baptist University Kirk and his sister did a convocation. Kirk was on September 30th and it is on Youtube. I was amazed that they used their hands forming the horned sign so many times. I'm sure they were not aware of what they were doing. Kirk even pointed his fingers at the audience with it. But maybe it was the way he expresses his hands.

This is very difficult to walk in truth, knowing that these devices have so saturated the "christian culture." My estranged wife has been indicating that she wants to reconcile with me. My door has been opened for her to come back from the day that she left, yet, she wants to use extra-biblical means to reconcile. After taking her to a Gary Smally conference, counseling with a deacon and his wife, counseling with her Lutheran pastor, now she wants us to go as a family to watch the War Room. How does one sit through this movie and not shout out subtle evil departures from scripture? I am often seen as negative and judgemental because I hold the Truth in high regard and expose lies, deceit and error. I search for some wisdom to be able to balance everything and try to walk peaceably with men, but the Truth is not a unifying element in this world. It is a sword.

The problem lies with Christians seeking out man for truth rather than God's word. They accept whatever a self appointed pastor says or what a movie portrays about God rather than knowing Him wholeheartedly and listening to His Holy Spirit. You cannot see seeds of deception or fields of corruption unless you know His word and diligently pursue your relationship with God with a love for truth. Many believers who go see this movie will not see the hidden darkness and their method of directly attacking satan. Not even Michael brought an accusation against Lucifer. Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. When we stand for truth, even Christians will come against us because many are blind. They are calling evil good and good evil. They embrace whatever is set before them and don't even attempt to see the roots of demonic activity.
