Pope Receives a Hammer and Sickle [Communist] Crucifix

Is the Bolivian leader mocking him? Is he making a point about his pro-globalist policies?  Is this a celebration of the world wide socialism and "communism" [well really the marriage of capitalism and communism] the Pope wants to impose on the entire world demanding a new world economic system? I wrote years ago on a message board that the Vatican wanted World Socialism. The cries to redistribute the wealth by the Vatican is the exact same as Marx's.

 Remember many people in this world still idolize Marx even after millions of deaths. Latin America too under the guise of liberation theology has had a marriage of Catholicism and Communism for years. [Sure they have their right wing ones too, but it's just more of the Hegelian Dialectic].

Of course, confusion will reign as to why and how this happened.

I have a hard copy of this small book that sums up this issue; www.sheldonemrylibrary.com/raptureofthesaints.pdf I do think it is worth the read - Don

Thanks Don, I'll check that out. I of course have written Rome cooked up Communism...Karl Marx...British Museum. I believe more and more this was a "in your face" exercise. A symbol of Communist "victory". Well really Capitalism and Communism got married...

An interesting article; www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/southamerica/bolivia/11729834/Pope-rebukes-Bolivias-President-Evo-Morales-for-gift-of-crucifix-mounted-on-hammer-and-sickle.html Especially the paragraph underneath the feather headdress picture. I think if it was a true rebuke, it would be for bringing the connection to light. - Don

My wife's cousin married a man from Ecuador. He comes from a Roman Catholic family. He was apparently saved a couple of years ago. So a year ago this said cousin married him and would not have if he was not "saved". It is interesting now however that he makes reference to the pope visiting Ecuador in a positive light. I have often wondered if he was just planted by the Roman Catholic Church to infiltrate the family. Maybe I am just being sensitive? I was just wondering if others have had similar experiences.

I think the rebukes of the Pope were fake Don, so they could put it in the news he disagreed with it. Even one website I can't remember the link now, questioned the spanish translations of what the Pope actually said. It's one way these Pope's can do their thing mocking people while the newscasters in certain countries play cover up. I wonder if this was played off in South America as being a great and positive gift?

I knew this man dating a roman catholic in my last IFB church in my old town, not the one I recently left, and he kept telling me how she was saved Buzzard. There is this concept of evangelical Catholic they try to foist on people where Catholics say they are born again. Even my siblings all married Catholics, I was raised to marry a Catholic and some relatives banned my wedding for it not being Catholic and for me marrying a lapsed Lutheran. {I was not saved when I was married and was still in the UU then}

so some guy marrying out of the Catholic network who still loves the Pope, it's kind of suspect.
