Make Sure You're Not in Cult!

This is a video exposing the Christadelphians. I was reading more about them. They sound just like Jehovah Witnesses, they deny the divinity of Jesus Christ. The founder was John Thomas, who had false predictions which according to the bible name him as a false prophet. I don't agree with the videographer on the pre-mill Rapture of course. It looks like the Christadelphians not only deny the existence of demons but hell as well. In that, I ask myself if they are related to the Unitarians, Unitarianism began out of the roots of denying hell. I believe they may be, I found this definition of them:

"The Christadelphians are a millenarian Christian group who hold a view of Biblical Unitarianism."

The teaching of baptism regeneration doesn't surprise me, that seems to be consistent among cults such as the SDA and others.

I do believe if someone is denying demons, or hell or other plain facts of scripture they have departed from the faith. They are being influenced by cult teachers. Even if Jim Brown may not have official connection to the Christadelphians, his teachings are influenced by them.

I was going around Youtube today looking at some of their websites, here I wanted to see what they said about hell. Hmm has one of their ministries marked itself with a Horus Eye and eclipse?

Christadelphians are considered "biblical Unitarians", I was correct in surmising that there is overlap with their teachings and the Unitarian Universalist Association. For newbies to this board, before I was born again, I am not only an ex-Catholic but was in the UUA for over 12 years.

Thank you for posting this. I did not really know anything about the Christadelphians. Your site is a blessing! "T"

I agree with you BB and if I could converse with the man in the video I would inform him that the jesuits created futurism and preterism, then see what he does with that information. Still praying for your health and your husband. (Psalm 118:8) - Don

Don, how do you know that the Jesuits created futurism and preterism? And for what purpose? Seems the Jesuits are being blamed for everything these days. I would really like to know as I too embrace the pre-trib rapture. Not interested in engaging in debate about this topic. Just need to know where you are coming from with this "inside" knowledge.

The jesuits didn't create futurism. The Bible clearly teaches futurism.

Don - what do you mean futurism? Anon 1 - As far as pre-trib goes, the bible taken as a whole (in context) clearly shows that there is NO secret rapture. People get so drawn away by fleshy teachings and never check with God via his written Word. Patience is the key, God will definitely clarify his Word to each and every person that asks and actually reads his Word. I'm not immune either, and by God's Grace He has shown me my errors and gets me back on track. I haven't gone to a church for about 20 years and God has taught me more than anytime spent in a bldg! He alone can give us eyes to see and ears to hear. Praise God for his Wisdom. Take care BB and God Bless you in every way. - JJ

It is not inside knowledge as I was able to verify from several sources. Once you understand the jesuits created both for the counter reformation, you are on your way to truth. Here are the names to research, Luis de Alcazar, Fransicso Ribera, Robert Bellarmine. You can be like the man in the video on this post and deny the evidence and remain where you are. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l_CTCHXFpc Matthew 7:7 - Don

Basically there are three views of Revelation - Futurism, Historism and Preterism. If two of the three were created by the jesuits for the counter reformation, then which would be the correct view? I do not have all the answers, but I continue to seek the truth and with the good Lord helping I will continue. - Don

BB, yes, their teachings overlap with the UUA.

The Christadelphians, DENY CHRIST'S work on the cross, as the following quote will show.

"Christ's work was NOT to die and appease the wrath of an offended Deity, but to acquire immortality by His ressurrection. "

"The Christadelphians teach dynamic monarchiamism. The central idea in their theology seems to be the theory of conditional immortality".

"To the Christadelphians the devil is is said to be no more than "the Scriptural personification of sin in the flesh".

The Christadelphians, JWs, SDAs and many more of these similar new religions all have exactly the same source. They are all offshoots of a huge movement in the USA in the 1800s called Millerism, their followers were called Millerites. They predicted the end of world on a certain date, followers sold their houses and gave their money to the church en-masse, and when it didn't happen, all these new daughter churches suddenly appeared.

Research the Millerites, and many of these new religions are instantly exposed as not only sister churches with similar teachings, but with the same invisible financial backers, all created to deceive the flock, to destroy the fundamentals of Christianity, and to deny Jesus is the Christ. That is, to destroy our countries, this NWO (Old World Order) has been hard at work for a very long time.

There's also an excellent chart online which details all the offshoot religions of the Millerites. Well worth finding for instant understanding of the identical source of all these new religions - about 100 of them.

There is a you tube video detailing the above ^^^^, its something to the effect of Jehovah Witnesses, roots, offshoots and those in cahoots. It mentions christadelphians and others that branched off the Millerites.

I agree about the Millerites. They are daughters of a rotten root.

Hi. I was in a cult, called the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research, for nearly all my life. They're a Sacred Name Movement cult & a Theosophist/Occult New Age Cult that taught us to HATE Jesus & Christians, & they DAMN you to hell if you call Him JESUS, & not their "sacred" name.

I'm glad I got out of the cult & found out the truth. I have a YouTube video about them, & there are a few people trying to attack me & trying to make me look stupid for exposing their fake cult.

I feel spiritually destroyed. I was in foster care since 6 months old. Me, my twin sister & a few other siblings. The foster mom put us in a cult. We're from New Orleans, & I heard New Orleans is very well-known for Voodoo.

BibleBeliever, I wish I could talk to you. I'm reaching out to people for help. I feel so alone. & @ age 27, I got out of the cult, & in 2012, I became a Christian. My twin sister is still a devout cult member. We were never able to get along.

I tried out a few churches & got hurt by pastors AND members. I fear walking into any church now. & I feel awkward not going to church because of Hebrews 10:24-25.

The foster mom was abusive to us, & I feel embarrassed that I have "imaginary friends" that I can't get rid of. I heard that MALADAPTIVE DAYDREAMING & imaginary friends go hand-in-hand. I'm 31 years old now, & I really need help.

I suffer OCD, anxiety, Tourette's, hyperacusis (hypersensitive ears), depression, tinnitus, vertigo, vitiligo & Lupus, TMJ disorder, & now-newly MALADAPTIVE DAYDREAMING DISORDER. I had 2 strokes @ age 5.

I remember being 5 years old, & the kindergarten teachers used to lock me & my twin sister up in a small, dark janitorial closet 6 hours a day "to control my behavior". & then come home, & my brother would lock me & my twin sister up in the laundry room.

I have more to say, but I'll stop here.

Otad12, email me here, biblebeliever2@gmail.com. Sometimes I can be slow on email so don't be upset if it takes time to get back.

We had some Sacred Name folks show up on this blog before, I had to confront one, who while they preached truth about mystery cults gave other deceptions. She didn't realize as an ex-Unitarian Universalist Theosophist, I recognized some old terms. So I am familiar with the Sacred Name Movement and even own Lew White books which I have mentioned here from time to time. I am happy you were able to escape this cult. I know Lew White said all Christians using the name Jesus were going to hell. It was along the same lines.

Can you show me your youtube video? I may decide to post it here. I am always interested in exposing false cults here, that is the main theme of the blog after all.

So sorry you were put in a cult from a foster mother, I will pray for you. New Orleans is known as a dark place. See what was written on one of my new posts about it. I am glad you got out and became a Christian. Were you born again? I hope so.

The church world is a scary one, most churches out there now are fallen away, I know we want to seek fellowship if we can find it and understand.

I will discuss the "imaginary friends" [if I am defining this rightly] on email, but severe abuse can open one to demons. I guess I will sum things up that way. It does not mean you were at fault as a child but it can open up the doorways so to speak.

There are physical conditions too, that can cause natural effects, Hypnagogic hallucinations, temporal lobe seizures, etc especially with your history of neurological problems and strokes.

I believe you about the closet, and will pray for your healing. I was a sub teacher and was horrified by special ed techniques I saw, and yes it included kids being locked in closets. :(

Many abusive parents will abuse their children by locking them in rooms.

I will pray for your healing and comfort from God in dealing with your health problems, and yes please go ahead and write me.

I dunno. I'm atheist (i don't have any belief ideas from family etc. !) and actually a lot of the teaching of the Catholic Church simultaneously for me is wrong and don't have any connection with Holy Bible. Tradicions from other cultures and doctrines form people are more important than what exaclty it says in the Bible - don't celebrate Jewish holidays like Jesus (see in the HB). Christmas or Marian Cult are nowhere mentioned in the Bible WTF. etc.
In my opinion, many global religions (not only Catholic) have own issues. They don't want to see own true colors in the mirror. Big religions are responsible for the greatest number of deaths and sex scandals! It's really sad. Do you read Bible, don't you? What exacly did Jesus teach people? Do you see His words in acts of churchs?
Think carefully, read and study Bible.

Well that sounds biblical. The wages of sin is death and Christ brought immortality through the good news of his message death and resurrection without which Paul assures us we are of all men most miserable. Nothing that Christ accomplished requires he be more than 'a man approved of God's. Peace
