U of Conn. Professor Battles Street Preachers

Language warning on video....

Here is liberal professor battling it out with some street preachers. I looked up the Striving for Eternity ministry, they seem to be mainstream evangelical. Obviously many college professors are very liberal, we know that the stereotype of the liberal college professor has truth to it. He gets loud and defends Darwinism as a religion.

I think it is useless to debate evolution with unbelievers, and personally I've gotten stuck in those debates a few times. Spiritual blindness rules with that one but from what I can tell in this video the atheist professor is being belligerent. Academia in America, you better believe a certain way to be let in many doors, and it's getting worse as evil grows and political correctness totalitarianism takes over. I wonder how the college bubble will affect these sorts but I digress. At one point James Boster, the professor shouts "Praise Darwin!"

A Christian assistant coach felt forced to resign for praying in huddles at the University of Conn. recently too.

Yes, it's all getting worse. That sums it up for all these posts... the signs of the times!

I agree with you BB, you only end up going in circles with them. I remember hearing years ago about people who wanted to be able to (or thought everyone should be able to) argue with them on every point. But the fact is, we can't argue people into salvation. Even if we win at each turn of it. Besides, there are things we know more about and less about. Like I said earlier, I don't get into the details of the science. There are creation and evolution scientists already arguing, so it's not the lack of scientific knowledge that is the issue. There are unbelievers and believers with both much and little scientific knowledge and people on both sides of the creation and evolution fence. So even if I knew all that science and was on the creation argument side of much knowledge, it is no guarantee that I could convince anyone. It is a spiritual issue. On these matters I don't engage with people as there is no way to convince someone who is hell-bent on disbelief. In fact I refuse to engage with anyone who just wants to dispute. I only witness to people who have a sincere interest and are open to hearing the gospel and that is all I talk about because that is the point. It is so easy to get sidetracked. If I am out sharing or handing out tracts I do it that way too, anyone showing a sign of disinterest I don't waste any time on. It's the 'shake the dust off your feet' approach. If I am out holding a sign like this guy, and someone gets belligerent, I just keep doing what I was doing and I don't engage with the guy or argue with him, it's not worth my time or effort. He doesn't need to agree and he doesn't need to like it. But I won't get into a shouting match with him and stoop to his level. It just shows him up as the fool and belligerent uncivilized ape that he is and (well, he thinks so anyway) and that the truth got under his skin and got him irate. Remember that saying? The dog that barks the loudest is the one who got hit.

Just in case it gets violent, I only engage in self defense (at least here) because it is a gospel issue and such violence qualifies as persecution.

Also, there is that verse in the bible:

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them... John 6;44

***One thing for Lori:

I left another encouraging message for you on that earlier blog.

Hi BB,

In science, an observation that has been repeatedly confirmed and for all practical purposes is accepted as true.
Truth in science, however, is never final, and what is accepted as a fact today may be modified or even discarded tomorrow.

Darwin's statement is certainly not based on the directive or scientific findings . However , because the scientific understanding
and technological equipment available at that time arguably still primitive , the full meaning of Darwin opinion odd and unrealistic
it is not entirely clear plastered
However , every piece of research and any new findings that they earn only constitutes evidence that refutes rather than confirms
the theory . Science and technology are making rapid progress since the beginning of the 20th century and the theory of evolution .
All branches of science relating to the subject - such as microbiology , biomathematics , cell biology , biochemistry , genetics ,
anatomy , physiology , anthropology , and paleontology - revealing countless evidence that all UNDERMINE the theory of evolution
For example the discovery of fossils 150 million years old Salamander, insects 50 million years old, 300 million year old fern .
This species , which remains the same after millions of years.
so theory of evolution is disproved by the findings of scientists. and many more other examples

so they had dig sciences and will continue to dig it and will find their theories contradict each others because this is just DELUSION.

2 Thessalonians 2 (KJV)
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20 (KJV)
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Psalms 14:1 (KJV)
1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt,
they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I agree Lillianna about not arguing with people, the unsaved will love the things of the world and what it tells them. We don't want to throw pearls before swine. Speak with the ones who seem interested, I agree. We can get truth out there in various ways but useless arguing is not fruitful. I feel for any Christian students who end up in that man's class. I was an unbeliever in college but it was liberalism city. I could see me of today flunking some of those classes due to my religious beliefs. Even your classic tea party republican seems to be closed out of most of liberal academia. They pride themselves on intellectual inquiry, free thought and tolerance but what a joke.....

Hi Atmo,

I am no scientists but have delved into outside topics of this blog, where I consider much of what they consider scientific to be extremely biased and mumbo jumbo. People are deceived thinking all science is via the scientific method. Even there humanity is imperfect and his scope is narrow. I agree they are always changing their theories. You see this even in medicine.
How many years ago was Darwin around, 140?
I have done reading of scientists who have delivered theories that decry evolution. How can the evolutionists decry the endless patterns found in nature? the evidence of design?

1 Corinthians 1:25-27

King James Version (KJV)

25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

What twisted garbage. Praise Darwin? I don't think so buddy. It's easy to show off for a bunch of brainwashed teens.

Pathetic. And he gets a paycheck to act that way.
