Seed Sower's Warning About Joyce Meyers

This video goes into something I've warned about many times, the "best lives now" deception that false teachers like Joyce Meyers push. These preachers sell themselves through the false love of money. Do not sell yourself out for the things of this world against God's will.

She is such a false teacher. But that also proves that Ravi Zacharias is a false teacher, since he went on her show and praised her and said what a great Bible teacher she is. He's a fraud too, therefore.

Joyce Meyer has a message of self. Love yourself. Be yourself. Get that self-esteem.

I saw someone quote her on Facebook: God calls you to be no one but yourself.

I tried to point out that we are called to be like Christ, not ourselves.

People say they believe the Bible, but then it turns out it's the false teachers they believe. Like the video said, Joyce tells people what they want to hear.

These "prosperity preachers" do such a disservice to the gospel of Jesus Christ, yet people blindly follow them. Follow Jesus people, not false teachers! I really love this blog, a lot.

Her promise of the good life now is just a tip of the iceburg. I came across an article on Carm.org about quotes she has made. She doesn't believe she is a sinner..."I am not poor, I am not miserable and I am not a sinner, that is a lie from the pit of hell".. Another one "They were having the biggest party that had ever been had. They had my Jesus in the floor and they were standing on his back jumping up and down laughing. And he had become sin. Don't you think that God was pacing, wanting to put a stop to what was going on? All the host of hell were upon him. Upon him. Up on him. The angels were in agony. All the creation is groaning. All the host of hell was upon him. Up on him. They got on him. They got him down in the floor and got on him and they were laughing and mocking. Ha ha ha ha. You trusted God and look where you ended up. You thought he'd save you and get you off that cross. He didn't, ha ha ha."/// here is the link to read more: the quotes are documented with the youtube links of her speaking. http://carm.org/joyce-meyer

That's right. God did not create us so that we would pursue pleasure for ourselves. Rather, he created us for his pleasure.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Rev. 4:11

Joyce Meyer, who according to her website is "one of the world's leading practical Bible teachers," teaches heretical, Word Faith doctrines. Joyce teaches her followers that the Lord Jesus Christ atoned for our sins in Hell, that Jesus Christ was "born again in hell" and more! (Note: Only sinners need to be born again. Jesus Christ did not need to be born again.) Audio documentation http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=260772221

Joyce Meyer's following is huge in this country preaching to the itchy ears of women who desire easy believism....where there's a gospel that costs you absolutely nothing!

Our church women conducted a Joyce Meyer bible study....don't know which bible they used, but it wasn't God's Word. Do you want to know what happens when you point out Mrs. Meyer's false doctrines to prideful women?

Well, it isn't pretty....they become offensively angry, dismiss you as if you are not a believer in Jesus Christ, then proceed to whisper, gossip, tale-bear, and slander your name behind your back, all the while painting a psudeo-smile on their faces while they greet you on Sunday mourn.

And secretly, they will hate you for you do not, and will not, fall at the alter of their modern idol...Joyce and her multi media/multi million dollar religious machine. So in effect, the spiritually elite women in the church system can blaspheme Jesus Christ all they desire, but one must never dare question nor call out Mrs. Meyer for what she really is...a wolf in sheep's clothing....for that is beyond blaphemy and heresy.

It is time to bring the missionaries back to the church system of Babylon, I mean, America.

Ravi Z, I see his name on every ecumenical list.

Yes Joyce Meyers sells the false self-esteem gospel, in fact the human potential angle is big with this one.

Thanks Kimberly.

Anyone who says they are not a sinner is a liar, guess she added another heresy onto a long list anon.

Yes she is considered part of the Prosperity gospel too.

and the "think positive" patrol as well. Just today I had someone tell me I talk about too many "negative" things. [I had talked about some of the things I speak of here]

Yes women can get very angry if you warn about Joyce Meyer, I have been in that boat before. They are not happy with you at all. She preaches "positive" things is what one person yelled at me, how can you out her down?!

There is a lot of fake smiles Christianity being done among Meyer and her ilk.

The big reason why these Meyer and Osteen types keep thriving is b/c Churchianity really believes they can be financially wealthy if they put their faith in Christ and do "good works".

Ultimately, Meyer, Osteen, etc end up making millions of dollars off of their (heretical)books b/c of the naiveity of millions of people.

If people, in general, had even a small bit of discernment over this, Meyer/Osteen/Warren/etc would be in the unemployment line.

My husband was telling me a story of one of his friends from work. She was going thru a difficult time in her life and actually wrote Joyce Meyers a heart felt letter asking for help. Joyce, or her secretary, wrote and back and said she needed to purchase a Joyce Meyer book and that would help her.
I cannot believe the amount of blind women who follow her. I cannot believe the amount of debates I get into with people who don't think there's anything wrong with her. Apparently I am a betrayer of my gender to not like her. Pffft...who knew?! Personally I was thankfully never attracted to her arrogant, depressing "sermons". Then I dug deeper into her theology and was glad I hadn't.

Any female "pastor" is automatically wrong. The bible says that a Pastor must be a man. There is no need to discern with a female pastor since by default they are unbiblical.

1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence

So in a church setting, then the man must have the authority, not the woman. We all take the Bible literally, right? Joyce Meyer is clearly in a church setting, no matter what she says. So she is a disobedient woman that hates parts of the Word of God.

There's no way to twist this verse to make what she is doing okay. There's no way to explain it away, there's no way to make the claim that it was just "cultural" for then, since the Lord in the next verse goes all the way back to Adam and Eve, which is way before the Greek/Roman culture.

This should be a no brainer, that she's a fraud, just on this one point.

Same with Joel Osteen, but for different reasons. He denies the Gospel repeatedly, he writes "Christian" books of which some of them don't even mention God once, he says that mormons are Christian. He's so obviously false, then why is there any discussion in the churches about whether he is a false teacher or not? He is making it easy for you, just like Joyce Meyer is making it easy for you to identify her as a false teacher on one verse alone.

Why of Why are so many of you ranting about Joyce Meyer?? She is a wonderful (if loud) teacher, her Hand of Hope has raised so much for ALL in need from child trafficking to giving people in underdeveloped countries clean water to drink and food to eat, not to mention clothing and teaching about our Lord Jesus. AND whenever there is a major crisis be it in the USA or anywhere else, Hand of Hope is always there - ALWAYS. Maybe some of you should look to yourselves and remember "He Who I Without Sin Cast The First Stone". I just cannot believe the rubbish you write about this wonderful woman and her ministry. I have a gut feeling it is nothing more than JEALOUSY!! Bless her and her ministry mightily, in Jesus' Holy Name - Amen. Karma Shalom.
