Group unveils design of Satan statue for Oklahoma State Capitol

This is where all the cultural warrior stuff leads where they want government and religion married. I always saw the ten commandments on the courthouse lawn wars as theatrical nonsense for the Dominionists. Soon the Buddhists, Hindus and Wiccans will claim their corners too. The statue is total evil and I am sure they include children on it to add to the wicked symbols.

That Idol has two goat heads. One on the idol itself and the other is between its legs. Put on the full armor of GOD! They've always been after the children. America's judgment is at the door.

Notice the double serpent around the stick symbol in this statue that the medical/big pharma industry uses.

It's no coincidence at all.

BTW - the 10 commandments were given to the nation of ISRAEL in the OT, which Jesus Christ ultimately nailed on the cross in the NT. Ultimately, Christians are NOT under the OT 10 commandments anymore. Why Churchianity still clings to this, I have no idea why.

I am not sure what you mean. Ofcourse christians are under the 10 commandments, or 9. The sabbath is not for christians to keep. To not keep those 9 commandments would be sinful. Yes we are under grace, but the commandments go into the new testament.

Why would a christian not want to keep atleast 9 of the commandments?

FaithGuy3 and BB,
I copied this article written by someone else (with permission). Do you disagree with this? I appreciate your opinions. http://straitgatenarrowway.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-difference-between-commandments-and.html

Here is my thing though, the government buildings themselves are not holy so this is so silly to me. Just something to start a huge religious debate about. That statute is really all religions tied in together. Its all BAAL worship. Faithguy, because you have groups like the Hebrews roots movement etc, promoting this false doctrine. You also have groups now, one in particular who is a Methodist, who has hooked up with Nehemia Gordon and Karite Jew, promoting this book that has just come out by Dr. James Tabor (group is called Jewish Jesus Daily on FB), the book is title Paul vs Jesus. Basically saying that Paul never met Jesus so he is a heretic. Denying the very one who bought them, if in fact they were ever saved to begin with. Its all deception. They don't listen, their knowledge has them puffed up.

Here's why...

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Jas 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

And...

Exodus 34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
Exo 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

Notice in verse 28, it refers to Israel from the previous 27 verse.

Yes, for years attending these Babel church buildings, it just drove me crazy when I would hear these "pastors" say junk like, "If you have the love of God, you would do these commandments".

Some of the law carried into the new testament. Like for instance, homosexuality is still a sin.

The law fell under 3 categories. Civil, ceremonial, and moral. The moral laws are eternal, and for all mankind. Civil and ceremonial no longer apply. Like the laws on the type of food you eat.
Homosexuality is a moral law of God.

John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

John 15:10 "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love;even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."

Jesus is God, and God is eternal. So is His moral law. Like the 9 commandments.

You don't keep the commandments to be saved. To keep them because you are saved.

This baphomet is making the same hand sign as the statue of "St Peter" in the Vatican and other religious pictures.

Just to clarify my comments over this - promoting the 10 commandments like this(and Churchianity has been doing this for many years) is NOT a good witness of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost world.

If anything, why aren't these same groups making a monument with a message over how to get saved - by the belief in our Lord Jesus Christ and his finished works on the cross?

I have an important question....can any of you keep all of the commandments?

For I have not seen any within the realsm of Christianity honor the commandments in their context.

Oh, many a self righteous believes they keep all of the commandments, yet deny the fact we are all sinners covered by the blood of Christ.

To say that I keep all of the commandments all of the time would make be a liar and there would be no need for repentance and a belief and trust in Jesus.

He fulfilled the law so that I may live....eternally with Him.

No, because man sins. You don't keep them to save yourself from sin, you keep them to be obedient to God. Good fruits and all.

I don't think anyone can keep to obeying God's Word perfectly. We aren't perfect. But surrendering to Jesus Christ and striving to do God's will causes a miracle to happen. The things I used to love, the ways of doing my will, I don't want anymore. He changed me. He gave me the will and desire to do things His way. The Bible says that will happen. It also says you are a new creature. I am not perfect. I recently discovered after 12 years I was lying to myself and others about something. What a shock. Why did I do that? But I repent and don't do it anymore. Its a process. A lifelong process. There's a lot of wicked things I have no desire for anymore. The world looks so different, and I don't want it. What an awesome savior!! I am so grateful, I want to obey Him. Not to get saved, as someone stated above, but because I am saved! Also in John 14 Jesus says that the one who obeys him is the one he and the Father make their home with, the one they will will reveal themselves to. What an awesome promise!!
