Yoga is Satanic Spiritual Practice

No Christian should have anything to do with yoga, it is not just "simple exercise".

Thanks for the video, lots of great info. I really needed the real info on exactly what yoga is all about.

Thanks for the video. A lot of people I talk to have no idea of the roots of yoga.

I've been reading yoga/Hindu websites and it's clear that yoga is all about worshiping Hindu gods.

The above website, under kundalini yoga, tells you which Hindu gods you are using as you open up each chakra.

This same website has a page on shiva, the god of the yogis, and also shiva is the destroyer.

http://www.sanatansociety.org/hindu_gods_and_goddesses/shiva.htm

Shiva is worshiped as the supreme consciousness. Yoga exercises are designed to connect you to this.

Yes, yoga is a satanic practice. And schools are teaching this to thousands of kids.

Did Alice Bailey say in The Plan that they would infiltrate churches and schools?

Thanks Rena and Anon.

Other Anon, yes yoga is all about worshipping Hindu gods, Sun worship too with the sun salutation.

You are absolutely correct that the Yoga exercises are designed to connect you to the "supreme consciousness"

Even the Yogis warn about the spiritual dangers...[warning false religion video, New Age music]

I am not sure if it is in the Plan but would not doubt it. May be interesting to research. I just can't remember right now.

This is anon again - so they tell you that shiva is the god of the yogis. Shiva is the destroyer (from the 2nd link I sent above) of the world. I read in another yoga website link that shiva is the god behind the kundalini serpent power - which makes sense if shiva is the god of the yogis.

So you have a Hindu god called the destroyer (satan) providing kundalini serpent (satanic) power. It totally fits.

How sneaky is that - satan getting people to worship him under the guise of relaxation. Having kids posing to him in school.

If you don't like it, yoga enthusiasts may call you horrible names like stupid, moron, friggin idiot, twisted, having a psychiatric disorder, ignorant.....

Those were some of the names Christians were called in the LA Times article re: the parents who didn't want their kids doing yoga in the San Diego area school.

How can so many people - especially Christians - be so blind? It took a little reading directly off if yoga websites to see this !!

I find it interesting too they have SHIVA as the main 'spirit" "god", well DEMON behind Yoga. They didn't pick Ganesha or one of those goddesses.
SHIVA=Satan.

I agree. One thing the links above where they name themselves sanatana society, they have various mix-ups with the word SATAN. That is often a "marker" too.

It is a way to bring people to worship Satan. I have been told I am crazy for refusing Yoga and too harsh, etc etc. Yeah I saw some of those nasty comments. I sometimes am in shock people are that blind. All you have to do is a simple google research. The people DOING the YOGA, they do MEDITATIVE techniques during it. [I had a couple yoga times during UU years] Can't they figure out what that means?

Notice the sanatan society website has a serpent (satan) over world symbol for their logo. - Don

So I'm reading this article about the parents who wanted yoga stopped in the Encinitas school system in San Diego.

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-976900

The parent was upset that they were having the kids thanking the sun during the sun salutations of yoga.

Well, the parent has a legitimate concern. These 'thanking the sun exercises' are actually prayers to the Hindu sun god surya!

They have the kids worshiping the Hindu sun god/s in public schools and so many people think this is a wonderful thing? Seriously? This information is not hidden - it's on multiple web sites. The people running our school systems have lost their minds.

http://www.harekrsna.de/surya/surya-names.htm

This website gives you a detailed explanation of these prayers to the sun god.

This website talks about this being an essential spiritual practice for yogis. It also has the salutations:
To the one who awakens, the one who moves in the sky, the one who illuminates, the one who causes noise, the one who was born from a golden egg . . . .

Another strange thing is how they were saying that yoga needs to be in school to help stop bullying - but then the kids and parents in the San Diego school that didn't want yoga were being bullied by the yoga people!

One commenter about the situation said something about it being the parents fault that the kids were being picked on, and I'm thinking, really? It's the parents fault kids are picked on and not the bullies' fault?

These yoga backers have some funny thinking.

Bible Believer said...

Anon when they have them worship the sun, they basically are having those kids worship Lucifer.

I wrote this article a long time but all of Satan's false religions are rooted in SUN WORSHIP.

http://galatiansfour.blogspot.com/2010/08/false-sun-worship-1-solar-wheels-and.html

http://galatiansfour.blogspot.com/2011/02/mystery-babylon-sunmoon-worship-and.html

http://galatiansfour.blogspot.com/2011/08/catholic-church-led-by-sun-and-moon.html

I am glad those Encinitas parents spoke out.

That's weird they claim yoga will stop bullying but even that is a religious precept in their claims yoga will stop the bullies...Sigh.

Hi Bible Believer, yes, I believe that they are having the kids worship Lucifer/Satan as they worship the sun and do all those poses to Hindu deities. Thank you for the links.

Interesting on this yoga website they say that worshiping deities is not idol worship because god is in everything so you can basically worship anything and you are worshiping god. Typical new age stuff - all paths lead to god, god is in everything. But we know God is not in his creation. They say Christians worship the cross and saints, etc., which of course is not true. And they are getting Christians mixed up with Catholics, once again.

This yoga website also says that idol worship is used to develop devotion to god. But actually we know that idol worship is devotion to Lucifer/Satan. God is very clear in the Bible about not worshiping idols.

http://yoga108.org/pages/show/123-introduction-to-deities

Yes, worshiping the creation instead of the creator = spiritual trouble.

Sarah,
Jesus said,
Mt 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

But Paul...
Ac 18:18 And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

Ac 21:23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

What of circumcision?

Ac 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Ac 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

1Co 7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

Ga 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
Ga 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Ga 2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

Well there are a lot more examples given by Paul himself about not doing this for salvation and even gets to the point of wishing those who teach this sould be "cut off" themselves.

And yet... Paul himself gets Timotheus circumcised.

Ac 16:3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.

There is a difference between the preacher of the Gospel reaching into the fire to save some, and the false teacher who tries to keep them in the fire.

You can clearly see that Kirk Cameron does what he does to preach the Gospel to the lost; and to the lost in the churches; and it is the Gospel of Christ that is the only hope for any of us.

Ro 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Are there issues with the man? yes (like all of us), but righteous judgement can't happen when you are blinded by seeing and speaking false accusations.

I'm speaking to my daughter's teacher next week to see what my daughter can do instead of yoga at school. My husband was upset saying that she will be ostracized and made fun off. Well, if she's going to be shunned over not wanting to do yoga, now I feel even stronger about not doing yoga. He said the exercises can be separate and that I am narrow minded (narrow is the way) and a few other things. He got in the lotus position and said tell him he cant sit like that and pray to Jesus. I don't think it would even occur to a true bible believer to do that! I told him he can do it, but I wouldn't. Then after all that he told our daughter that I'm 100% right and he'll support me.
What he was doing I'm not sure, but it was good practice for any accusations that may be hurled against me for not liking yoga. I may well encounter hostility from people. Since our school district is one of the largest in the nation - are that many parents really ok with yoga?

Anonymous said...

This is anon again. My daughter's teacher sent me an email saying that she only teaches the (yoga) exercises and no esoteric instruction. (Of course we know they are going to say that)

Then she said that because she is a yoga teacher she uses the yoga terms, for example, cobra pose instead of trunk lift.

Um, excuse me - aren't you using yoga terms because IT'S A YOGA CLASS?

OK, so she is talking to me like I'm stupid.

And then she said they exercises have the pleasant side effect of relaxing the mind.

But I don't want my child's mind relaxed. She gets excellent grades and has self control in school - there's no need to relax her mind.

So we see it's not just exercises - there's a mind element to it, too.

But we knew that.

Looks like this year is going to be a long one. What stinks is that she's on a permit to be by my work. The school by our house is a very poor performance school.

I just laid awake last night praying for God's wisdom and strength in this situation.

There's a website called yoga4classrooms and they talk about how yoga helps with the common core stuff.

I kinda figured they'd be related.

So if I say..."Christ is my Savior" as I do yoga, it is satanic. You fundamentalist Christians are unbelievable, and your the very reason people leave your churches and want nothing to do with you. I don't go to church anymore because of you. I am still saved as I have accepted Christ and believe he is the Almighty God, Savior, Alpha and Omega. Yoga has made my body more like the temple of God.

Bible Believer said...

Many New Agers and even Hindus will say they follow "Christ". I do not believe you are following the true Jesus Christ of the Bible when you are practicing the Hindu religion via yoga. I don't go to church either. I have written about why, several times. There is no way that God would sanction you following false religion via yoga, and saying things like Namaste which refers to divinity within. Don't you realize even stances in yoga are based on Hindu worship?

Can't agree more.
I took my reponsibilities and took all the debt while my ex (who left me emotionally already several years ago and fell in love with a person she has never met, only knows this dude from skype, 17 years younger, lives over 15000 miles away didn't clean anything for over a year, practiced yoga, ) now is in social security. I hove to work at least 2 jobs to pay for everything. She still doesn't do much as i hear from our kids. She still is "busy" with her laptop and smartphone all day long...
I don't say I didn't do anything wrong. On the contrary, i made mistakes (heck i'm human) But i ALWAYS put familiy in first place and not myself.

There's a good side to every story.... our divorce was spoken out at independence day :D.... I have more freedom now than i have had in the last 20 years. The last year i learned more about myself and relationships than ever before and i even didn't have to use yoga for it. Today i'm completely confident, i have a firm grip on my life and the sun shines brighter than ever. I have my freedom back.

This is what i think of relationships...

people come into your life,

some may come and some may go

They who care for you,

will stay and let it show

A special someone rarely walks on by

One that will be close to you

One you open up your heart for

A person that will make you fly

One you forgive mistakes

One you stay loyal to

One you support in grief and in pain

One who is there in friendship and happiness

One that listens to you when you speak your mind

and doesn't come up with "solutions" right away

One you can laugh and cry with

One you can trust

No matter why or what

One you can build upon...

For better and for worse.

A person like that you don't want to change

A person like that is taken for who she is

And when such a person leaves, this might seem strange,

All that is left is emptyness.

But in good times and in bad times

Spending time with each other

Is the base for happiness

Most people do this too late or too little

That's why relationships ends

Reasons don't mind anymore

There are always to many

Everything is a storm in a glass of water

There are frozen desires, for sure

Afterwards the insights come

Afterwards there is self reflect

Afterwards there is inner peace

Afterwards there is gratitude you can't neglect

That's when you enlighten your heart

With love!

There are million things you want to say

Without the accuse of treason

Million things you want to explain

Too bad emotions win over reason

In relationships.

Hight of narrow minded thinking. Can you please prove scientifically that there is somebody called Satan who actually exists in universe. If not then how can you claim something as satanic. Whatever is written in bible or Koran is not necessary to be true always.

Is no one going to acknowledge the fact that Hinduism also believes in one supreme being, but that he has many aspects, Shiva being one of them?

Is no one going to acknowledge the fact that Shiva himself has many aspects. Many yogis pray to Shiva because the word shiva refers to the consciousness or the masculine aspect of the divine.

Is no one going to acknowledge that hinduism does not have a concept of the devil. How do you attribute something as satanic to part of a religion or spiritual practice that has no concept of it?

Good Christians love to knock down other religions or spiritual practices and never recognize when they steal from these same religions.

If Yoga is satanic because it is so ingrained with Hinduism and Hinduism is wrong, please, look up where the use of Rosary beads come from, because it's not from Jesus.

"Mala beads are seen in other cultures and religions and are also known as prayer beads, rosary beads and worry beads. Over two-thirds of the world’s population employ some type of prayer beads as part of their spiritual practice. The use of beads in prayer appears to have originated around the 8th century B.C.E. in India"

Thanks for sharing such an informative video.

I'm not a church goer myself (now). My personal viewpoint is that once you've grounded yourself in the spirit of Christ, you have the holy ghost there to lead you, all of your life (if you stay true to the teachings, i.e. focused on serving god).

It is a different approach to Jesus teachings, than what I hear from ministers. I feel that god can lead us individually, if we have matured in Christ.

I just mentioning this because I have tried out all types of eastern ways, and not been harmed. It is like I did yoga for instance, but then quickly feel a pull to quit (over and over again).

I just mention this because bringing fear and or judgement, into any conversation, usually shuts down some people and or has the effect of making people rebel.

God/jesus can lead you into a vast array of experiences that are fruitful. But if you are full of fear, to trust his wisdom (i.e. you don't listen well enough, due to ego/not grounded in Christ etc.), then perhaps the wiser choice is to stick with church doctrines.

Are you guys retarded? No seriously.. this is an important question.

Because you do realize youre making a big deal out of stretching, grunting and breathing? /facepalm

Saying that yoga is bad because of is its Hinduism roots is like saying that christianity is bad because of its pagan roots. Rofl. So many uneducated idiots here.

I agree w you... you don't need to meditate on hindu gods to do yoga. Meditate on Jesus and just calm your spirit and think on his peace and word.

Kal Johns said...

I would say that it is ok for Christians to practice yoga. BUT you must not get caught up in any class or under an instructor who wants you to meditate on these false gods. Just because You do a simple pose does not mean you are worshipping these Hindu gods, but if you do the pose with the intent of receiving that false awakening then that's a different story. Yoga can be very beneficial in increasing flexibility and such. As far as those of us that are saved Romans 8:38-39 reads “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Which is to say that as long as your allege once is to Christ Jesus and not to any of these Hindu idols or blasphemy , then it is safe to practice Yoga.

Jasmyn Hunnicutt said...

I agree with you 100% and your comment along with NY own research and personal relationship with the Lord has led me to be at peace with taking a yoga class. I focus on the Lord and thank him and I have the Holy Spirit guiding me along the way.

I was confused for a minute. Like if we do yoga, we can meditate of God and His Word, right? But, we stretch and all that before we exercise , doctors tell us stretch and all that is that demonic too? I don't get it, I wanted to do it because it seems like it'll take stress off of you you know.

Bible Believer said...

Stretch all you want but leave the Hindu prayers and sun worship gestures out of it.
