Church of England Goes Pagan

Hey when one of your top leaders hangs out with the DRUIDS, your church is already PAGAN.

Well they basically already are pagan! Why advertise the fact? I supposed to market themselves to various Wiccans and New Agers.

Even when I was UU [Unitarian Universalist], there was joint services with a few liberal Episcopal churches with at least two of my old UU churches. The UU's have pagan groups within their churches but they do not pretend to be Christian in most cases though some may a nod at a adulterated "liberal Christianity". The Church of England, is like the liberal wing of Roman Catholicism, with out of the closet gay priests and New Age spirituality practiced even more overtly right within the churches. The roots of the Church of England are evil and directly from Roman Catholicism, where Henry the VIII put his wives to death and broke away from Rome to remarry.

Church of England creating 'pagan church' to recruit members

"The church is training ministers to create “a pagan church where Christianity [is] very much in the centre” to attract spiritual believers.
Ministers are being trained to create new forms of Anglicanism suitable for people of alternative beliefs as part of a Church of England drive to retain congregation numbers.
Reverend Steve Hollinghurst, a researcher and adviser in new religious movements told the BBC: “I would be looking to formulate an exploration of the Christian faith that would be at home in their culture.”
He said it would be “almost to create a pagan church where Christianity was very much in the centre.”

Church of England cathedral to host ‘new age’ festival

"Manchester Cathedral is to host a controversial new age festival in May which is set to include card readings, mysticism, dream interpretations and a fire breathing vicar.
The Christian Spirituality fair is also expected to include a workshop on “Meditating on icons as doors into the mystic realm”.
Its location in the historic Church of England building is likely to alarm many Christians."

Card reading, fire breathing, etc.

WOW! I guess the circus has finally come to town!

Then again when Rod Parsley can zipline in church...

Well, you already know where this is all headed.

These people are insane from indwelling sin. Laughing about the pagan symbols on the outside, its really no joke.

Oh, how pretty. The white gown and the white head piece really bring that guy with the beard into touch with his feminine side.

What a fancy lad he is.

First Anon, yes its all very much like the circus isn't it? I heard about Rod Parsley and his zipline, can't remember if I posted on it or not. That's a sure sign of getting desperate to keep the "customers" coming for new excitement!

Second Anon, yeah that guy bothered me too, laughing about the pagan symbols. What is with all those pigs and ghostly looking characters? Well he admitted the C of E churches are built on pagan groves.

LOL last anon...hey when they wear all those pretty golden and red and multi-colored vestments [dresses], on a daily basis, the white outfit of the Druids fits right in.
