The Strange Thing about Meteorites

Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

I noticed a strange discrepancy the other day....

Remember how they told us there was going to be this close shave?

From NASA's website...

"Jan. 28, 2013: Talk about a close shave. On Feb. 15th an asteroid about half the size of a football field will fly past Earth only 17,200 miles above our planet's surface. There's no danger of a collision, but the space rock, designated 2012 DA14, has NASA's attention."

NASA assures 'no Earth impact is possible' when asteroid passes Friday But flyby will be a close shave

Ok, as we know it supposedly did not hit... but then that VERY SAME DAY, the largest meteorite to hit the earth in 100 years hits Russia.

What would you think if you were driving somewhere and saw this?

So why are they telling us the meteorite in Russia which happened on the SAME DAY has nothing to do with the meteorite they were warning about which was doing a close shave that day?

Coincidental? I find that hard to believe.

Russian meteor not related to asteroid 2012 DA14, scientists say

"The meteor that blazed over a portion of Russia early Friday, blasting windows and triggering car alarms with a series of explosive booms, was not related to asteroid 2012 DA14 and had a very different trajectory, according to scientists at NASA. As numerous videos of the event were viewed worldwide, experts said the meteor was likely about one-third the size of 2012 DA14, too small to track and therefore a surprise. The largest noise heard on video of the event was likely the main mass of the meteor exploding 100,000 to 150,000 feet above the Earth's surface, and not a sonic boom, scientists said.">Russian meteor not related to asteroid 2012 DA14, scientists say"
Odd don't you think? Something doesn't add up.

I said to someone that day jokingly, did the Russians blow up the big one?  Looks like that theory is out there, already.

But who knows? It's not beyond my reasoning they could use meteorites for various delusions too. One can just imagine what use they could make of saying a meteorite was going to destroy the earth. I also find the timing of these meteorites interesting considering certain other world events with the Pope and more. I always saw mentions of meteorites and solar eclipses when it came to papal elections.

I thought it was odd how it moved SIDE-WAYS, wouldn't it look more VERTICAL if it was a meteorite? What does flayers mean or is that typo?

I think the other guy meant "flares".

But, I don't see a connection to Rev. 13:13. It's talking about a "miracle" of fire, from the antichrist, raining down on the earth. This russian meteor ain't even close. Not everything is a sign.

Doublespeak. That's easy to believe.

Similar fireball in the sky happened in San Fran CA the same day. It didn't explode the same way but also had a non similar trajectory.

There was also stronger space weather, on the 14-15. Could it have been have been space junk? I dunno, but the hole in the ice in the Russian lake in some of the pictures I looked at didn't look like it was a new hole nor did it look like it was from an object hitting it. Think fractures in ice and pushed up ice chunks. . .

I find it odd that Russian nuclear armed jets were flying around Guam just days before the "meteor". Hmm

Bible Believer said...

Anon I read about fireballs in Cuba, Florida. Thanks for mentioning California too..

I thought the hole in the ice thing was weird too, too clean...

JL I didn't know about the Russian jets and Guam thing, thanks for telling me.

Yeah a lot of strange stuff going on...

No one thinking it could have been NK's missile re-entering the earth? Anyone? Buller? sigh. I agree that it wasn't a "sign" with first Anonymous. I think it's comedy that NASA failed to see it coming in, if it was a meteor. If it wasn't a meteor than we know why they didn't foresee it coming. The MSM last night did a spot on why those pesky Russians have so many videos of the meteor, the dash-cams. The dash-cams have come to be used by the common Rusky because there are corrupt cops who will ticket them or accidents they can prove they were set up and a number of reasons. Apparently the dash-cam footage is a source of funny outtakes too blowing up YouTube in Russia. Then again this is according to US MSM, which as we know are oh so honest. I think Obama ordered the falling meteor to detract attention from sequester, or some nephilim came to earth in search of Missler, one of the two.

Commentary here makes it seem like nobody has ever seen a "shooting star." I think you folks need to go camping during a good Leonid viewing night or something. There's nothing slow, or odd about the angle of entry from space, or unusual about the event called an "airburst," or anything else. There's a long historical record of the exact same sorts of astronomical events, even before every Russian car owner bought dash cameras:

33 million pounds of space rock lands on our heads every year, some of it spectacularly. Enjoy the majesty of the universe God created.

Unless there are VERY SLOW meteorites out there...that was not a meteor.

With a real meteor, I would be amazed if our eyes could even pick it up.

Ummm, for those here who are apparently uneducated in the sciences of physics: Because of the fact that the asteroids in question were coming from different angles, they could not physically have been part of the same asteroid. If they were, it wouldn't have been just one meteor, we would have had literally hundreds of meteors and meteorites make contact with the atmosphere in a cloud of asteroid pieces. Some would hit the ground and others wouldn't even hit the atmosphere.

Were it a nuclear weapon, it would have been much more than just broken glass. Nuclear bombs would leave fallout radiation and all sorts of death and destruction. So far there hasn't been a single death reported and we do have satellites over Russia from google that would spot a radioactive fallout. Honestly, if you are able to film a nuclear missile that close, you won't survive to send it in to the news.

Other anon,

Meteorites travel at all different speeds. None of them travel too quickly for the human eye to see, even the ones which hit the atmosphere every day are visible long enough to be seen by the eye that is looking.

I politely disagree with some of the comments.

Shooting stars do no leave "impact areas"

Also, not all missiles are nuclear. Some are conventional missiles.

I do have another theory. Considering the following articles below, could all this be a warm up exercise for the tribulation period...

Bible Believer said...

I've seen shooting stars, usually they are faster then that thing that streaked across the sky....[but will admit they were up in "space" not coming down on earth]

It did seem VERY SLOW [maybe we need to see if that video was slowed down but I saw the same one everywhere]

Looked at other videos where they said it was a meteorite

The North Korea possibility was interesting.

I still stand by my assertion, that supposedly having this huge fly by asteroid, "missing us" and then having the big Russia ones hit on the same day, is a bit fishy.

They told us they were coming from different angles, how do we know? The biggest meteorite in a century and it just happens to be the SAME DAY as the giant "fly by one"?

I used the Revelation verse, in regards to how this stuff "could" be used. Warm up exercises, yes very possible.

Yeah the dash-cams exist in Russia for insurance and to deal with fraud and corruption

if it was a missile, we have satellites that would have spotted it a long time ago and the assailants would have been fired back on. Remember, Russia is a Nuclear Nation. if someone had launched a missile on them, they have the capability to destroy a missile traveling as slow as that easily. Also, there is one video which showed the beginning of the fire trail. This means that the source was either an invisible plane or outer space. The Sputnik Scare was over many moons ago, and Russia is no longer a nation of terror and communism any more. There are many martyrs from the Soviet occupation in the Orthodox Church which are honored during the year to commemorate their strength of faith in the face of certain death.

--why read more things into it. It's just a giant rock. It didn't have any feelings toward us. Basil

Yes this is all very interesting! Off topic have you heard of the One People’s Public Trust? This is on all the countries desk to be pushed forward. Nicer title than one world order.

Whether it was a re-entry of a missile from NK or space junk or a real bona fide meteor, the Russians as you stated could have picked it up and knocked it out of the sky since it was 'slow' but they didn't. I really don't care what it was. there was another sighting of another meteor entering our atmosphere, this was last Thursday, 2-21-13 and was reported by people on the Southern coastal areas of California. An article popped up on Drudge over the weekend I don't know if it's still there. So that makes three within a week. If these are signs they will be global and in a more frequent occurrence so as to not be explained by any other means other than truly stars falling from their place (signs in the heavens). If this is true then we need to be ready for a lot more than sequester!

http://lunarmeteoritehunters.blogspot.com/2013/02/california-bolide-fireball-meteor.html I found this cool little blog/site that chronicles global meteor sightings. The link is the one I referred to in SoCal on 2.21.13. Just FYI

Project blue beam in practice mode? Did this east coast one even crash into anything. Funny how they can track every piece of "UFO" and space junk but one of these flies across the sky and they don't even know where it came from or went to.
