Sun Myung Moon Has Died

Rev. Sun Myung Moon, Leader Of The 'Moonies,' Has Died

Interesting information on the video, I know about the Washington Post, but didn't realized they owned URI too.

The Rev Sun Myung Moon, the self-proclaimed messiah who turned his Unification Church into a worldwide religious movement and a multi-billion dollar business empire, has died at the aged of 92.

Church officials said Mr Moon died with his family by his side late last night at a church-owned hospital near his home in Gapyeong, northeast of Seoul, two weeks after being admitted to hospital with pneumonia.

So death has come to Reverend Moon, since he was basically an antichrist claiming to be divine, we know what fate awaits him. Hopefully this will wake up some of the Moonies to get out of that cult seeing their  supposedly "divine" leader die.

"The Dysfunctional Messiah"

"The Messiah is seventy-eight years old. His claims of divinity notwithstanding, even Sun Myung Moon cannot live forever. When he dies there is every possibility that the Reverend Moon will take the Unification Church with him to his grave. The Unification Church is a classic example of what psychologists call a cult of personality. His sons are already locked in a battle for control of his business empire. That struggle will only intensify when the Unification Church itself is up for grabs. Reverend Moon implies that the True Mother will rule when he ascends into Heaven."

This should wake up his followers, that their "messiah" died and won't come back, not three days later, not ever.

Just like in the OT where people feared that their "gods" might be stolen. If you have a "god" that can be stolen or disappear, it should make you reconsider.

I agree. Above in one of the articles I linked to it states that Moon claimed he would ascend into heaven. Well that definitely would wake up his followers. A lot of time when these antichrists die, their cults break up. It will be interesting to see if this is the end of the Unification church. Usually the children who inherit such organizations lack the special brand of pyschopathic charisma etc, to keep it all going.

We can be sure that his death will not end his agenda. He has a large family who has been trained in his ways and the tentacles of his wickedness is widely spread through his children. He has left quite a legacy.

Yeah, there is that possibility the adult children are fully trained and will keep up the satanic legacy, they may even pick one to embrace being another antichrist.
