Pastor Ed Young Uses a Live Lion For a Prop

One almost sees desperation with this guy, to remain "entertaining", to keep seats filled and the money coming in and that means bringing in "excitement" and well now even a LIVE LION in a cage to illustrate your sermon series. Included is also a baby lamb.

Texas pastor criticized for live lion during service

Dallas-area megachurch pastor Ed Young is facing criticism from animal advocates for presenting a live lion and baby lamb on stage during his Easter Sunday sermon.

Young, at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, is the son of Ed Young, Sr., the longtime senior pastor of Second Baptist Church in Houston. He began an animal-themed sermon series called Wild, which uses biblical references to wildlife to teach about the Christian life.

“We are going to talk about animals, live animals, in church, that will absolutely blow you away. This weekend was an epic one, we talked about the lion and the lamb,” Young said in a promotional clip on the Fellowship website.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. I am thankful for Ed Young and the fact that he continues to reveal God's message to all of us. Keep it up, Fellowship Church, you are reaching millions in the name of Jesus' love.

When Jesus came into the temple, he upturned the tables of the money changers and chose selling doves for sacrifice.
This suggests to me that he was not impressed by those who exploit animals.
