Glenn Beck Preaches The Third Great Awakening at John Hagee's Church

found video from apprising ministries:

Glenn Beck definitely has been used to bring Mormonism and Evangelicalism together, and it's working isn't it? Of course Glenn Beck and John Hagee are joined together in deceiving people with false Christian Zionism.

Mormonism is actually hyped up Freemasonry/Theosophy given a Christian veneer.

This third great awakening stuff is more deceptive rhetoric.

I don't know who the spokesman here is, but he is right about differences between Mormonism and Christianity.

That would be Todd Friel. (spokesman) He was/is part of Way of The Master. Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron... but leans more to the Doctrines of Grace camp. Apologetics yes, but certainly and decidedly street preaching teachers. They help equip saints to actually go and preach the Gospel. Their ministry is one of those that God used to get me a former Mormon out of Calvary Chapel.

Thanks for the information.

If you haven't had a chance to look a little closer at Todd Friel and Way of the Master, here is a video you really should see. http://180movie.com/ This is the kind of thing they do. Ray Comfort is the "spokesman" in this video. This movie/video is one of those things that are truly eye opening and actually worth the time to investigate.

I don't know much about Todd Friel, I have expressed some concerns about Way of the Master linked to the ecumenical ties of both Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. The oddest one was Ray Comfort's link to Doug Phillips of Vision Forum. I need to check out 180, I am glad there is a movie warning about abortion but would have to see it for myself to really comment much further. Thanks.

I've pondered and wondered about many of Ray Comfort's choices of places he witnesses. I don't know of anyone who has more patience for atheists, homosexuals, gang members, and just try to list a group he won't witness to. The Gospel he preaches is the Gospel of the Bible. You have one of his videos listed in your own testimony on this blog.

I've come to a conclusion about Ray, that he doesn't appear to care what kind of sinner you are, you need the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what your religious profession may be. He advocates and trains others in street preaching, also note your own testimony. Watch the 180 video... again... refer to your own testimony.

There is fruit, good fruit, very good fruit, from Ray Comfort. I agree with you about ecumenism, we have sent information to both Way of the Master and Ray Comfort and Todd Friel, about the associations they have used in the past, and sometimes they have been edified and changed their mind. Again, more good fruit.

Perfect, no.
I would ask you, seriously not intending to set some trap, but genuinely pleading. What ministry or Pastor/teacher would you recommend that can live up to the standard you present on this blog? You do a fine job at pointing out some grievous error. Good job! Very Good Job! But... what about the other side? We/I need to find the answer. (ie, these are wrong... here is what is right...) If you don't do that, I fear that a person will end up like Roger Oakland. (which brings up a contrast for you to compare fruit of his with that of Ray Comfort)

God Bless you Bible Believer! These are difficult subjects and difficult times and we face an enemy we can't defeat. Christ alone has! and we must put on the full armor of God! Eph 6:10-20

The devil doesn't have to get you onto a specific wrong road to send you to the wrong place, any wrong road will do.
The offensive weapon command for us fully clothed in Christ and His Armour is to "go preach the Gospel", the defense command is " give reason for the hope in you"

When I come to evaluate a discernment ministry I try to estimate how much time is spent pointing TO Christ rather than pointing away from xxx_xxx_xxx.[Grandpa used to say "out of the frying pan but into the fire"]And often the overwhelming bulk is spent on the wrong, without expounding the right. The Light of the Gospel of Christ should blast the darkness into oblivion, --not just hinted that it might exist, and you readers already know it, so I don't need to say anymore about that--.

I begged Roger Oakland many many many times for him to even once tell me the plain Gospel. He never did.
That has become my test for any ministry.
What is the Gospel you preach?
It's a Biblical discernment test
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1Jn4:1-6

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Rom 6:22

I liked Ray Comfort for a long time, impressed with the witnessing to all types, but when he does conferences with TBN notables that teach the false word of faith lies to millions and hangs out with the likes of Doug Phillips there is a problem.

I think its good not to care about what kind of sinner anyone is. Everyone should have the gospel preached to them.

I have on the index, SALVATION, and have included the gospel even in my own testimony.

So even if there is good fruit from Comfort...

Why do all the ecumenicals support him?
The Bill Gothard support is even odd.

http://www.invictory.com/news/story-763-Ray-Comfort.html

"Ray Comfort's ministry has been commended by Franklin Graham, Ravi Zacharias, John MacArthur, David Jeremiah, Josh McDowell, Dr. Norman Geisler, Bill Gothard, David Wilkerson, Joni Eareckson Tada, and many other Christian leaders. He has written for Billy Graham's Decision magazine and Bill Bright's Worldwide Challenge."

If I am low on pastor teachers to recommend, why is that a problem, we were warned of the great falling away, and its HERE> I believe most *KNOWN* names are part of the "network of deceivers" whether knowingly or unknowingly.

Having been disappointed by the likes of Roger Oakland I hesitate to recommend any preacher. If someone is "famous", watch out, that is my advice, they have raised up through the ranks for a reason! Test what you read and study everything and compare to scripture.

Thanks for saying you like the articles.

But one thing, avoid the trap, that you even NEED a famous Bible teacher to latch yourself onto. I am done basically with that. There are a few I still read, [non-ecumenicals outside of the Lausanne/RCC church system] but even then I am careful because I know infiltration exists even in fundamentalist circles. Depend on Jesus Christ.

You are right these are difficult matters. I agree we should spend time pointing to what is "GOOD" too. I try to keep a balance here, while keeping the focus of the blog which is to warn. That is the reason for the biblical encouragement articles. I wish I had even more time to write here.

Repent and trust in Jesus Christ ONLY for your salvation

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." -Galatians 2:16

I would be the anon that you are answering Bible Believer, thank you for taking the time to do so! I tried to login with my wordpress account, just to avoid confusing (anon 1 and 2 and 3 and so on this post and others I have or hope to respond to), but alas, I couldn't seem to figure out why it wouldn't work.

It's important to come to right conclusions. That is especially true when the topic has eternal consequences! (I know this is important to you too)

Would you agree we are not to fear men? Would you agree that the (false) doctrine they teach is what is to be avoided? Would you condemn missionaries who visit and visited pagan cultures to bring them the Gospel of Christ? Have you ever been a missionary to a pagan country? Have you ever cried your guts out trying to bring the Gospel to someone who doesn’t speak your language? Have you ever grieved so deeply that the only rest for your soul was to proclaim the words God put there? Have you ever had such an intense desire to bring the Gospel of Christ to a lost soul that you would die for them to do it?

What/Who Spirit could produce that fruit?
Did you watch 180 the movie?

I agree we are not to fear men.

Actually its just not the false doctrine, but the deceivers to be marked and avoided.

After all, the two go together.

Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

You do realize the mission fields are being infiltrated by Lausanne, the Emergents and the one world religion via inculturation, and things warned about on this blog.

I believe in getting the gospel out there too.
