Elephant Room Controversies

More deceiving teachers in spiffy hip clothing teaching false things. Well Elephant Room 2 took place on January 25, and some controversies came out. Hmm looks like one guy missed the fashion memo to wear black.

This year's had a huge controversy with Word of Faither, T.D. Jakes being invited, who  believed some aspects of modalism or Oneness Pentecostalism and now claims he does not. That is just one of the problems with this false teacher.

Notice the unity messages here and against what they call "fundamentalism: "We Can Work It Out": Elephant Room 2. The whole message is about false unity. One topic I considered of interest reviewing the advertised tapes, was the "moving beyond denominations" message.

WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS
Is there a future for denominations? Will networks simply replace them, or will they reinvent themselves?

That is growing stronger out there. Of course when everyone is holding so many of the same errors, the lines are being blurred.

Apprising Ministries has more articles on the Elephant Room 2 Controversies if you want to check them out.

Well I sure noticed that I need more research and teaching on the Doctrine of the Trinity. I've been listening to people discuss this ER2 and noticing all kinds of things, but lest I fall prey to lost history and false doctrine, it's time for me to know exactly what why and where I stand on this foundational Doctrine.

I've heard of some who were excluded from the ER2 threatened with arrest, and I've read of others who declined an invitation to the ER2 who were later... well check this out yourself, I found it worth my limited time to read.

1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1Jo 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Those are the verses I stand on regarding the Trinity.

The Oneness weirdness has let to the denial of the divinity of Jesus Christ ironically both with the Jehovah Witnesses and even the early start of the Unitarians.

Thanks for the article, very interesting. The Word of Faith stuff and rest is very concerning as well. Well to me that is a group-meet of false preachers in general.

I would agree that 1Jo 5:7-8 are good verses!

A very important or vital aspect of the Trinity is the Equality of the Persons of the Trinity, because when you deny that, you end up with Subordinationism (Jesus not equal with God for example Michael the Archangel or only a prophet) which is where Jehovah's Witnesses are. When you deny the distinct 3 persons of the Trinity, and embrace "modes" or manifestations you end up with Modalism (God with an actors mask for this scene playing the part of...) which is Oneness and Unitarian. When you deny Monotheism then you end up with Polytheism which is what Mormonism is.

Foundation One:……………………………………………………………Monotheism: There Is Only One God.

Foundation Two:…………………………………………………………………There Are Three Divine Persons.

Foundation Three:……………………………………………………The Persons Are Co-Equal and Co-Eternal.

Here is the historical Creed that states the Doctrine of Trinity clearly. The term "catholic" used here is not reference to the specific Roman Catholic Church, but the faith of anyone who is truly saved.

From here... where does the entire Bible teach this entire doctrine? I'm studying and it's taking me some time, but it is certainly a most important question to answer.

I wish I was at the point where I could blurt out a bunch of verses, but I'm not there yet, I'm not totally clear yet.

So far I have received additional help from; (but I can't help keeping up my guard)

Be careful to stick with just the BIble on this.

There are so many verses that speak to Jesus being part of the Trinity and God Himself.

Jesus is an eternal being, while some of the deceivers will try and even deny that!

Some of that subordinationism stuff is even sneaking into the patriarchy movement and other cracks. Wrote about that, where some of those Patriarchy extremists are claiming that Jesus Christ is "subordinate".

Watch out for early church fathers, and Romanist councils and creeds. Some of those Reformed types [I used to read James White] they know some bible quite well, but they have been misled giving Rome's early church fathers any credibility.

Thanks for the other links. I am glad you are exploring these issues and studying them. That is a good thing.

Here is a verse

"King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."

2 Timothy 4:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

This verse is being fulfilled right now in our time. Notice the trend on having these Super Bowl/Walmart style conferences where they pile on dozens of speakers, most of whom are apostate (fallen away from the truth). Listen in to this video where TD Jakes denies Jesus is the only way to Salvation, giving a vague response to a Muslim woman, and more.

Carlos, Thanks for that video, starts around the 4 minute mark regarding TD Jakes, yeah he has the whole interfaith thing going. "We all care about common goals".

Going to post this one though I do not think much of Franklin Graham either

Yeah it is like Celeb Pastor superbowl with these constant conferences full of the apostates.

You mentioned them all wearing black, except one man who is wearing red. Isn't black and red a Masonic or occultic thing?.....James

Bible Believer said...

Yes black and red dress is an occultic thing.

Be careful of context, I own a red dress, thought it was maroon on the internet years ago. LOl, but actually the two colors, together are supposed to represent the Vatican.
