Why'd They Name it "The Daily Beast"?

What do "beasts" have to do with news?

The other day, I realized Newsweek, had a new website and news source they named "The Daily Beast"

This is what is officially claimed about the name:

The name of the site is derived from that of the fictional newspaper in Evelyn Waugh's novel Scoop.[1]

On November 12, 2010, The Daily Beast and Newsweek announced a merger deal, creating a combined company, The Newsweek Daily Beast Company.

Check out that last sentence..."The Newsweek Daily Beast Company"

But I find myself thinking something else, given the rising of the Beast system according to Bible prophecy.

Pope at a New Assisi: "May Every Religion Bring Upon the Earth Justice and Peace."

I got this video from Fanatic for Jesus blog. I knew this meeting was coming up. Assisi is where the Popes have held some of their most important one world religion meetings. Pope John Paul II held one in 1986 and in 2002. This is Benedict's second as well I believe.

Read this article for more context:

"Pope Announces New Assisi "Meeting of Faiths"

One thing that Pope says is "May every religion bring upon the earth justice and peace", which by the way was part of a reading at the other Assisi meetings...this more then anything announces the universalism of the Pope's and their masonic desire for every religion to be gathered around 'one altar".

Now notice the little chalice there too...[the lighted circular candle]

Going along with the BEAST program: see here.

Notice those little chalices they use as a "symbol of light". Those are used at every service in the Unitarian Universalist church. That makes sense since the UU church is a daughter as well mandated by Rome.

They light one of these before every UU service:

The lighted lamp is even used in one of their most popular one world religion symbols, that is shared among many Unitarian Universalist churches:

More deception too from the Pope and his men:

Vatican City (AsiaNews) – Christianity will be represented by 31 delegations, Judaism by the International Committee on Interreligious Consultation, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and other international Jewish organisation. Other religions will be represented as well. Five Hindu leaders, 3 Jains, 5 Sikhs, 1 Zoroastrian and 1 Baha’i, 67 Buddhists and the heads of 16 delegations from 11 countries, including the People’s Republic of China. The president of the Confucian Association will come from South Korea, the president of the Taoist Association will come from Hong Kong, and two Shinto delegations will come from Japan. Representatives from four new religions will also be present. There will be 48 Muslims, from Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Lebanon, Algeria, Morocco, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, as well as some Western countries. Representatives of traditional religions will come from Africa, America and Asia as well as four invited non-believers. More than 50 nations will be represented.

These are the numbers of the ‘Day of reflection, dialogue and prayer for justice and peace in the world’ that will held in Assisi on 27 October, that were presented this morning in the Vatican. The theme of the Day, said Card Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, is “Pilgrims of truth, pilgrims of peace”. It aims “to show, with simplicity, that as religious men and men of good will, we want to offer our own articulated contribution to the building of a better world, whilst at the same time acknowledge the need to grow in dialogue and mutual esteem so as to improve the efficacy of our actions.”

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

BREAKING NEWS: Vatican Calls for CENTRAL WORLD BANK

"Vatican calls for global authority on economy, raps “idolatry of the market”

The Vatican called on Monday for the establishment of a “global public authority” and a “central world bank” to rule over financial institutions that have become outdated and often ineffective in dealing fairly with crises. The document from the Vatican’s Justice and Peace department should please the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrators and similar movements around the world who have protested against the economic downturn.

“Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of a Global Public Authority,” was at times very specific, calling, for example, for taxation measures on financial transactions. “The economic and financial crisis which the world is going through calls everyone, individuals and peoples, to examine in depth the principles and the cultural and moral values at the basis of social coexistence,” it said.

It condemned what it called “the idolatry of the market” as well as a “neo-liberal thinking” that it said looked exclusively at technical solutions to economic problems. “In fact, the crisis has revealed behaviours like selfishness, collective greed and hoarding of goods on a great scale,” it said, adding that world economics needed an “ethic of solidarity” among rich and poor nations.

“If no solutions are found to the various forms of injustice, the negative effects that will follow on the social, political and economic level will be destined to create a climate of growing hostility and even violence, and ultimately undermine the very foundations of democratic institutions, even the ones considered most solid,” it said.

It called for the establishment of “a supranational authority” with worldwide scope and “universal jurisdiction” to guide economic policies and decisions.

The Beast is rising, one world government here we come.

Remember what I wrote about the Occupy Wall Street movement here, and how it is serving Rome?

Be Not Conformed To This World: Lockstep Conformity Growing

Romans 12:12 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

A very good verse, the Christian should be praying to God and should be listening to the Holy Spirit to see what is good. One thing I have been noting is that our society is growing more conformist. Some may say, "No way, rebellion is all over the place" but what they do not realize even most of the "rebellion" is manufactured, as they lead people into the same place. Don't expect creativity from Satan but banality. Just look at all those young people getting tattoos and piercings and supposed "non-conformists" who end up looking just like each other.

Just look at the rehashed messages from the music media world. Why do they all dress and act the same? Why do the "Christian" bands follow the others in the same example? Anyone else growing tired of the same clothing styles and vacant looks staring out? Even here this "Christian" band which has played at Harvest Fest held by Greg Laurie, has the occult markers, the winged skeleton on one guy's T-shirt speaks for itself.

But think about conformity elsewhere. Sometimes I wonder about the MARKETED demographic lifestyle to Christians. You have your marketed lifestyle to the mainstream evangelical crowd, where pastors wear their "uniforms" of khaki pants, and goatees, and where fads and the rest all match. I talked about this to a degree in this article: 'What is Being Christian All About: Not the Evangelical Subculture"

One thing you need to watch out for is embracing the "marketed" opinions they want you to have. Never give up your mind to ANY organization! Even with this blog of mine, keep your own mind and question everything I write and ask God first. There too TEST YOURSELF. No human being is perfect, we can all have blind spots and so it is even more imperative, you ask God to show you the truth. He always will, this often will include facing your own sins and shortcomings. There are many people out there, and one has to realize this as a Christian who knows what is going on, who simply haven't been told. In other words they do not. I still remember my days of ignorance as a lost unbeliever who believed the lies. I shudder to think, but that also tells me that for those open to the truth, there is always hope.

Do not make the mistake either of following into the wicked trap, of thinking "oh those people are just 'stupid'!" and having a cruel prideful attitude about it all. I still remember this one evangelical on Christian message boards, who called all the Catholics he harangued [he called it witnessing while never giving a gospel message] "DROIDS". Where is the Christian love in any of that? He was even once Catholic himself. How soon people forget where they once were. The Christian message should be one of freedom from bondage not condemnation.

The Christian's attitude should be THANK GOD, that He showed me the truth and allowed me to have it, rather then hate for those trapped in Satan's delusions.

That said, why are so many being led to this wicked conformity? The "Christian" who votes for the most Dominionist, poor oppressing politicians and police state mandates has become a stereotype but how many are being influenced by all the organizations out there influencing their opinions?
The mind boggles when even examining what is in magazines, websites, literature, passed around emails that range from World Net Daily to World magazine. And that isn't even addressing what is coming from the pulpits.  It is intense, and never ending. Once one steps out of this world it is interesting to watch from the side lines and watch how they seek to control minds, and attitudes and how overwhelming it all is.

One thing I am noting is how very much alike all these churches, and pastors are, that I expose on this board. Sure there are differences, some fit into the Charismatic, mainline, evangelical camps, but the "SAMENESS" is what really has stood out to me. Just like everyone over 40 saw America change from a land of regional differences to scaled down, boredom now that Omaha is just like Ohio with big box stores of soul-less suburbia, it seems everything was washed out of the churches too. One became just like another. Sad to say I think this was part of the plan.

But the mainstream Christian world aren't the only guilty ones, even the Vision Forum, Duggar, Quiverful crowd, has it's certain LOOK, fashions, lifestyle "accoutrements". Break out your harps, pencil skirts and Victoriana. These things are not wrong in themselves, it's better people dress modestly. I even like Victorian era antiques myself but that was prior to even my Christian days.

It seems weird when STYLE is trumping substance in so many places.

Daring to question the powers that be or the status quo really has fallen out of favor. I have already discussed the political song and dance show of the "right" and "left" but things are more insidious then that. What do people seek after today? To improve their characters, do right by God? Sometimes I fear for so many it is "fitting in" and becoming a "success" by world standards. It's all about having the right appearance, even in the "Christian" world. How many cults that claim to be Christian insist on a "perfect look"?

The media in other words for many different social groups puts forth the world standards of what success and what one's life is supposed to be about. Who is asking God anymore? Think about the sheer numbers that are all marching blindly after the false preachers, religious and political movements exposed on this blog. Why is this happening? What has happened to these folks?

Every belief, outfit, and rest is "marketed" to where cookie cutter people and personalities are developed both on the so called "right" and "left" and in many different organizations.
Sometimes it gets scary to be on a secular board and note, in a debate, you have 20 or more people all taking the same side exactly and there is little deviation from the "group". Just pronounce one belief, that does not fit the status quo, such as I believe that Ritalin is being way over prescribed for children, and watch the fireworks begin. Even among those who pride themselves as freethinkers of a sort, they take for granted the message in society, that supposedly 10% of all children need to be "drugged" so they can sit in a classroom quietly and "focus" for 7 hours a day. No one ever asks maybe it's not the children who should be changed or chemically forced to conform but the system itself. To be frank, this sort of "hive" thinking is why TSA strip-searches have become acceptable in America with nary a peep.

Also if you think about it, this is what has led American to down the endless bottles of Prozac and anti-depressants, while there are some with inner organic chemical imbalances, how come no one ever questions anymore if it's them that are really sick as individuals or society itself that is "sick" [or well evil]? Why do they all blame themselves? Because they are TOLD TO.

It would seem the way this world is today, with it's complexities, social disconnection and more, that human emotions of grief and sadness would be NORMAL, but even those are suppressed for the powers that be. I see this even in the constant delusional "think positive" movements and human potential movement that taught Americans to ignore reality and keep plastered tight smiles on their faces.

Now think about this, one manufactured "opinion" in the Dominionist Christian community is having perfect little children, that reflect perfectly on you as their parent, where children themselves are seen as 'marketed' consumerist commodities. Why do you think some of the false teachers like "The Pearls" are able to make a living off teaching "Christian" parents how to "control" their children so the same children never "embarrass" them at church or in public.  What is this all about?

20 years ago the political correct nonsense got in full sway, which actually led to people knowing if they questioned certain things, they would be deemed a "bigot", and tossed aside. The ante has been upped because now to have a different view from established academia, mainstream media means you become a persona non gratis.  Alternative voices are silenced, as people are told they are "thought criminals" under the moniker "conspiracy theorists". Even as long held theories such as flouride being dangerous to health are proven true  why doesn't that get more to think? The people who warned about this were shouted down for years as being "conspiracy" trouble makers. Should we accept everything we are told without question?

Sometimes I feel like everything is a marketed demographic, unique invididuals are really feeling the pressure when everything seems to be about fitting into a certain group or demographic and matching the exact beliefs of a specified group. We live now in a world where everyone compares themselves to each other, and wants to match exactly.  Are you an evangelical? Well then you are supposed to vote Republican, support the wars, and read Christianity Today. Are you a liberal? Then you are supposed to support Obama, abortion and homosexual rights. So forth and so on, even the Quiverful, Vision Forum world has it's specific dress styles and "lifestyles" and "beliefs", it sells to people.

I find it interesting that the geniuses of yesterday tended to be what was more lovingly called "eccentrics" in the old days, but now the answer is to pyschologically drug and pressure them into being like everyone else. Are there people who do have true ogranic brain problems? Sure there are. But this push to have no deviations from the norm, will actually destroy innovation, and hold back those who do manage to think outside the box. Today the impetus is to appear "NORMAL" as defined by the powers of this world rather then being what God designed you to be. If someone thinks the herd mentality and wanting to be popular ends in junior high school think again!

There is a battle for minds out there, and ask yourself is your mind in conformity with God, or in conformity with this world?

The world is going to match. The verse warning about the one mind of the beast, really means that ONE MIND.

Rev 17:13    These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

How many stand against the Tower of Babel "world unity" dreams of the elite anymore? Have you notice that now, they have both the liberals supporting it via their "world revolution" and everyone come together dreams, and those on the other side, supporting it via Dominionism? Hard core free-market atheist libertarians to Obama loving socialists dream of planetary unity. Christians are to have unity in God, and be of one accord but see how this has now been brought to fruition for those who have rejected or do not yet know God?

2 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Think about that part of the verse, PRIDE OF LIFE, isn't that what leads people to conform to this world and be as the world wants them to be? It is the basics of keeping up with the Joneses, desiring to "fit in"? It is when one wants to match what the world thinks is a great Christian instead of sitting and listening to God. As things get worse out there, some of us are going to find out what those verses where Jesus warned about us being hated by the world really mean.

Now a person shouldn't have pride. Satan can use the "I am a special person" thoughts for his own devices, as a Christian here is more biblical advice that is imperative. Stay out of the contest!

2Cr 10:12      For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Turn down music on this one...[well you know how I feel about CCM] but it has good information

I have posted warnings against Halloween here before..but since it's that time of year again, going to list them here and a list of very good articles from another blog.

"Touch Not that Unclean Thing! That Includes Halloween!"

"Another Christian Defends Halloween"

The world loves Halloween and its celebration of everything dark and evil. It can be tough for the Christian this time of year, to encounter the pictures of witches, spiders, and Harry Potter outfits, but Halloween is a far darker time then those things even illustrate and is a high "holy" day for witches, satanists and occultists. Every Christian should take time for spiritual warfare during October and praying against these evil things.

Gorbachev Sees New World Order Developing

Gorbachev Sees New World Order Developing

Of course he does, he worked for it for years. He is admitting to how all the protests are being used.

Gorbachev sees 'new world order' developing
(AP)
Former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev says he believes protests occurring now in many places signal the emergence of a "new world order" movement.

The 80-year-old Gorbachev told 3,600 people at Lafayette College in eastern Pennsylvania on Wednesday that global governments need to work toward a "more humane and more just" world.

The (Easton) Express-Times reports that Gorbachev said opportunities that existed at the end of the Cold War were "not used properly." He said with the breakup of the Soviet Union, some U.S. leaders and scholars became "arrogant" and advocated for a new American empire, and that contributed to continued poverty, environmental and development problems around the world.

But Gorbachev said he believes that there has been a push for positive change among many Americans in recent years.

"The protests that we are now witnessing everywhere actually are a sign that, in a very difficult situation under different circumstances, the new world order movement is emerging," he said.

Gorbachev worked hand in hand with the last Pope on behalf of the Vatican agenda .
You remember all those smokescreens about the "fall" of Russia in the 80s? These things have been plotted and planned on for centuries. Gorbachev even deals with some of these plans in his own writings:

He then states that we are now embarking on the next and final phase, which is to unite those countries into a "socialist community," to and finally establish "world socialism." (p. 151.) That is what perestroika is all about, and that is what Mikhail Gorbachev means by "New World Order."

"The Tennessee Highway Patrol checked trucks with drug and bomb sniffing dogs during random inspections.

"The bottom line is this: if you see something suspicious say something about it," Gibbons said Tuesday.

The random inspections really aren't any more thorough normal, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol Colonel Tracy Trott who says paying attention to details can make a difference. Trott pointed out it was an Oklahoma state trooper who stopped Timothy McVay for not having a license plate after the Oklahoma City bombing in the early 1990s.

Tuesday's statewide "VIPR" operation isn't in response to any particular threat, according to officials."

Videos Exposing Chuck Missler's Deep New World Order Involvements![Found on Youtube]

Sometimes finding out about false teachers is not easy. I listened to Missler though I never totally trusted the man. I would notice the anti-biblical teachings that raised a red flag for me, and then would find out about the new world order connections after I prayed to God to show me the truth. I do not know anything about the author of these videos, and may not agree with everything--always watch with discernment [wished he chose a different name]  but he goes into the deep new world order connections of Chuck Missler. If you go to his page, there seems to be some odd theology regarding keeping to the law. The videos are well done though and contain useful information. There is more here, I didn't even know........

Read this earlier blog entry for context:

"Christians Discerning the Truth About Chuck Missler"

Now as you watch these videos, make sure to remember who was Missler's pastor: Chuck Smith.

This video admits the basics about Missler and his levels in high level projects and ties to global government.

Video about Chuck Smith's role as an advisor in Swansat, helping with the global grid:

"Chuck Missler - Satan's Puppet (PT-1) - 100% Proof he is NWO in his own words"

This video is about Missler's company Phoenix Group: [the name Phoenix, is very occult] and other research, one even including "microchip implementation". He points out Missler has never repented of these involvements.

"Chuck Missler = Satans Puppet (P-2) Here's the PROOF"

This video has more information about Swansat, and its connections to education, e-schools and United Nations. Swansat supports the Millennium Goals of the United Nations. This video of course goes into the new world order implications of this and information about William Welty and the involvement with world currencies.

"Chuck Missler *IS* Satanic Puppet (P-3) PROOF !!!"

This video goes into even more of Missler's new world order, corporate and high level think-tank connections. The video points out all the odd mass education programs with one even included in Russia.

"Chuck Missler is Satan's Puppet *PT 4* - Proof in Missler's own words"

This video goes into the CNP-Dominionist-Reconstructionist connections. I have talked about on my blog much about CNP, and it's connections to Dominionism and evil. He asks of Missler- why would anyone who was truly of Jesus Christ hook up with all this wickedness? This is a question I have asked too. The hirelings, do not follow Jesus Christ but the father of lies, posing as angels of light. By the way read the comments under the links to the videos on Youtube, with Christians commenting on the deep deception that has been exposed here.

Chuck Missler Satanic Puppet P-5 - Proven OVER AND OVER by his own resume

"Chuck Missler - A Satanic Puppet P-6 - Proven by his own resume"

This video goes more into the CNP and other aspects of the religious right and how corrupted these groups are and how CNP is connected to the Knights of Malta, Moon, and other false churches and groups. It also goes into more about the members of the CNP and the yoking of church and government.

"Chuck Missler - Puppet of Satan P-7 - Exposed by Missler himself"

There is more here, about Missler's connections, and his promotion of the YK2 scare, close ties with Chuck Smith and Calvary Chapel and his friendship with Hal Lindsey. Also information on Pat Matrisciana, now president of Jeremiah Films and founder of Campus Crusade of Christ, and mentions of the Elijah List.

"Chuck Missler Satan's Minister Part-8 - 100% Proven by Missler himself"

This video talks about more of Missler's connections and the odd cruise that Missler led where they went to Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Malta in Malta and the schedule for this trip including trips to pagan temples related to mother goddess worship and Missler's odd promotion of David Bohm who claims basically that mankind lives in a "matrix" of sorts who claims reality is not real. That is the best way I can exclaim it. This guy David Bohm is a quantum physicist who is not even a Christian. Missler's odd writings about quantum physics is one of the earliest thing that woke me up to him being a false teacher. You must remember quantum physics was discussed quite a bit in the UU church, I had heard the 'world is a hologram" and chaos theory nonsense already. For the UUs, those things were discussed in the 1980s even. I did not expect to hear it from a so called Christian teacher. The video gets into more of how Missler manages to promote occultic mystical false teachings.

"Charles Missler Satan's Minister Part 9 FINAL"

More of Missler's false teachings and the deception, of how Missler who is highly educated promotes false New Age teachings under a "Christian veneer" and a summation.

Those Who Want You To Be Silent

You always run into someone like this...

"Why do you talk about that bad stuff?"

"Why do you call out all those false teachers?"

"Who do you think you are?"

The sad thing is the majority in the churches have been shamed into silence by folks like this.

I got this comment today from anonymous [it's on the Falsehoods and Fundamentalist Churches blog entry]:

"I don't see Jesus being bitter, condeming,[sic] and finger pointing. When He did point out sin, His response was "where are the ones that condem [sic] you, neither do I, go and sin no mor." [sic] That is what I am talking about. If we are going to look for all the false preachers and teaching out there, we'd be exhausted and never win sinners to the Kingdom of God."

Never buy into what those tell you who claim it makes you a "Bad Christian" to speak out against evil.

That is one of the worse "scripts" they have going out there. I probably should include it on the list later. It is a subset of the "hater" script.

That Christians are to only witness, [yes it is important] and never speak out against evil or false teachers is nonsense. In fact, if a Christian neglects to stand against evil and is even seen as a part of it, by non-believers, that means more turned against the gospel. If you have a preacher or other Christians telling you this stuff, don't buy into it!

The wolves celebrate when they have a church full of those types. Some have twisted the humble meekness that Christian believers should display into a weak insipidness that serves as an enabler of evil. I can't even begin to tell you the numbers of people I have met who have sadly been told, that speaking out against error is wrong. In fact this seems to be way things are done in most of the churches. The false preachers also back up this message and often include, "don't you dare speak out against the Lord's anointed!". In fact one reason the churches are in such a rotten state to begin with, is the discerning people have been told to be silent, "do not rock the boat" and now the numbers who will speak out are very few.

These types always speak of love, but where is it when their defenses are always for the wolves? Jesus Christ Himself spoke out bluntly against the wolves:

Mat 23:33    [Ye] serpents, [ye] generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

New Catholic Scandal: Stealing Babies in Spain

"Spain's Stolen Babies: An Ugly Past On a Staggering Scale"
For years there had been rumors in Spain: babies stolen from their mothers at birth by the government in collusion with the Catholic Church.

But now the country is exploding in anger and outrage as the scale of the baby thefts is revealed: An estimated 300,000 newborns taken from their bewildered mothers. It is only in the last few months that the Spanish government has been willing to confront the country’s horrifying past.

It began in the 1930's after dictator Francisco Franco won the Spanish civil war. With his government’s approval the children of dissidents were taken from them and given to “better” families.

But as the politically motivated baby thefts receded in the 1940's they were replaced by an equally offensive form of stealing. Babies were regularly taken from their mothers and sold to other families – for thousands of dollars – by the same doctors and nuns who had delivered them.

The practice continued long after Franco died in 1975. The baby trafficking was unproven until earlier this year when two men — childhood friends — learned that their parents had bought them from a nun.

I believe more will be exposed about Rome and said that even a few years ago. The Catholic church runs the adoption services [well "racket"] in many nations. Ever wonder why even in America, one has to be middle class and above to adopt an infant, and it costs over $30,000? Even for special needs and older children, you better have some major funds. I can't even imagine the hurt and damage to these families, I wonder if they told some of the mothers, their baby was still-born so they could succeed in stealing the baby.

300,000 is an incredible number for a country the size of Spain

The BBC is doing a show.

I read elsewhere this is how they pulled it off:

"The racket went like this: A woman gave birth, the baby was removed from the room, and some time later the mother was informed of the baby's death. Often, the mother was denied permission to view her child's body. Other times, the doctors presented her with a prop corpse they kept in the hospital's freezers. As grieving parents attended funeral masses dedicated to empty coffins, a loose affiliation of priests, doctors, nuns, and nurses colluded to deliver the baby to eager adoptive parents. The crime was repeated in hospital after hospital, city after city."

A Variety of Links #1

"They Want a United States of Europe But They Are Going To Need A Massive Financial Crisis In Order To Get It" Some are stating that the plan is to unite the USA with the EU in reaction to the economic crises. Is this the first step in issuing a world currency?

"Pat Robertson-Alzheimers Makes Divorce OK" How cold can you get? Alzheimers means that your spouse needs you more then ever. Well we know Robertson is false preacher, has shown open masonic signs. This is against what God has dictated.

A warning about Gardisil. There have been so many politicians like Perry who were so insistent on forcing this vaccination on young people.

DNA and TSA? Not a good development...

'Wait on the Lord: Scripture Song"

Thought this was a good idea too, to memorize scriptures.

"Chuck Smith Blasts, Threatens Calvary Chapel Abuse Survivor from the Pulpit of CC Costa Mesa"

"Gimme That OC Religion
Chuck Smith Blasts, Threatens Calvary Chapel Abuse Survivor from the Pulpit of CC Costa Mesa"

But the best part comes near his remarks on Grenier. "I feel sorry for the guy," Smith tells his followers, "because...what I could do wouldn't hurt much, but I'll tell you what the Lord can do can really..." Smith chuckled a bit, then ended, "I'm glad I have the Lord on my side."

This is the exact card Smith pulled in 2007, when Christianity Today--hardly a radical voice in Christian circles--published an exposé on Smith's lax oversight of sex abuse at Calvary Chapel. The story noted that Smith told the CT reporter. "The Lord warns, 'Don't touch my anointed. Do my prophet no harm.' I think that you are trying to do harm to the work of God. I surely wouldn't want to be in your shoes."

Is Chuck Smith now taking PR lessons from Diocese of Orange Bishop Tod D. Brown? Heckuva job, Brownie!

See here too to hear that particular sermon.

I'll let my readers make of this what they will. All I have to say is it reminds me of the Catholic stuff. Chuck Smith worries more about defending himself rather then standing up for an abuse victim.

Values Voter Summit: Church and State Married Together

Values Voter Summit

I had a reader of this blog, send me this link, the event has already passed but its interesting in what it shows.

I have warned about the "culture wars" here many times, and how they are used to usher people into false unity and have the churches move into Dominionism and seeking political power. The word VALUES, is always used to bring people onto the culture wars bandwagon. Here is a "conservative" organization, that brings the preachers and politicos together. It's always interesting to see who are on these lists and in these "networks". Here Values Voter Summit invites churches to participate.

Look at the speakers here, along with all the media moguls like Glenn Beck, and Republican party candidates such as Rick Perry, and Mitt Romney, you have folks like Phyllis Schlafly, and of course Knights of Malta member Boykin is on this list as well. Plenty of Catholics too on the roster. One thing to note [click on pictures to enlarge], are the organizations involved with groups like this who offer their support: The Family Research Council, AFA Action, American Values, The Heritage Foundation among others.

Take a look at some of the speech titles if you get the time, this event happened the first week of this month, but they are of interest.

From News4themasses: "Another Jesuit for Another Gospel"

"Another Jesuit for Another Gospel"

What do Bill Bright (Campus Crusade for Christ), Billy Graham (Billy Graham Evangelistic Association), Tim LaHaye (CNP founder, Left Behind co-author), and Chuck Smith have in common? They have all benefited financially from Nelson Bunker Hunt. Nelson Bunker Hunt is a business tycoon famous for trying to make a run on Silver (see here), an Equestrian, and something I’ve learned recently, a Jesuit for the Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem. The following information is an attempt to show the relationship between Nelson Bunker Hunt and “another gospel.”

Good article, so much traces back to the CNP, [Council For National Policy] which definitely is a nexus for knowing deceivers. Missler, Pat Robertson, Oliver North are said to be members. Tim LaHaye, author of Left Behind, was it's founder. If you ever get time, look up CNP membership, this is one puzzle piece that will tell you how deep the Luciferian connections and religious political deceptions go. This is an extensive list of so many famous Christian names, that are members of CNP, it will blow your mind, and as I do, always double-check your sources online. There are more names listed here from Falwell to Ted Haggard:

Two facts to remember about CNP---

LOTS OF KNIGHTS OF MALTAS on the roster. This includes open membership of Catholics as well.

and

Reverend Moon Money and connections

I found it interesting where this article shows that Nelson Bunker Hunt is another one who belongs to the Papal Orders. Don't forget the Pope has his agents everywhere, and to be frank some are mistakening them for legitimate evangelical bible teachers.

The news4themasses article goes deeper, please read it, and asks this very good question:

"Another Jesuit

Recently Understand The Times exposed Ret. General Jerry Boykin as an active Jesuit of the Knights of Malta. Boykin has been circulating around Calvary Chapels for decades. He circuit speaks at Calvary Conferences in the US and Israel. If Boykin is a Jesuit, and Nelson Bunker Hunt is a Jesuit, what are the odds that there are more inside Calvary Chapel?"

The odds are there are many more and in many other evangelical churches as well.

Occupy Wall Street Going GLOBAL and the Pope's Plans?

These are just some examples of the videos out there:

"Occupy protests spread around the world; 70 injured in Rome"
CNN
Oct 15, 2011

The Occupy Wall Street movement spilled onto main streets in Europe, Asia and Australia on Saturday as crowds chanted and marched in a global movement of discontent.

"People of the world, rise up on October 15th," said United for Global Change -- the central site for the international movement. "It's time for us to unite. It's time for them to listen."

The group said 951 cities in 82 countries will take part in the rallies after online organizers called for a worldwide rally.

"Occupy Wall Street's Global Echo"

Organizers worldwide started social media pages on Facebook and Twitter devoted to "October 15" — #O15 on Twitter — urging protesters to join the global call for protests.

The worldwide movement is galvanized by the Occupy Wall Street movement started last month as a backlash against the economy and what demonstrators say is an out-of-touch corporate, financial and political elite.

Occupy Wall Street organizers say they are inspired by the Arab Spring that led to the toppling of regimes in Tunisia and Egypt.

The founding movement in the United States has spread to other major cities in the nation.

Notice here how they want to UNITE THE GLOBE FOR CHANGE: [be careful of RT, I'm using it for information]

It is interesting to think on how the "Occupy Wall Street" stuff is going to be used by the elites. Years ago I wrote a post on a message board called "The Vatican Wants World Socialism"[Remember tyranny can come from both the left and the right. That post on message boards upset many people. I also find myself thinking of this old blog entry too.

"The Vatican Wants World Government #2: Redistribution of the World's Wealth"

Back when I wrote this, I thought how are they going to pull this off?

Now I believe THEY COULD BE PULLING IT off, and in that post you can see the plans laid out.

Collectivization of the world's economy at the behest of the UN and even further up, at the bidding of the Pope. The Pope's economic plans for the world were made public. The Pope made it clear he wanted a "new financial order". If you read even his encyclical from a couple years ago, it's all laid out. Interesting to think about.

Make sure you read this one too if you have not:

"The Vatican Wants World Government #1: Setting Up For the Beast"

I understand why people support Occupy Wall street, I am surrounded by them in real life. American life has been severely impacted by the abuses of the banks. With the extreme unemployment, people have seen their houses foreclosed on, their jobs lost, their hopes and dreams for this world dashed. Poverty has hit home for many, and world wide many are feeling oppression and seeing a way of life lost. So while I understand the sentiments, I think the elites are setting the world up per usual, using the financial crises and problems for their own benefit. The Hegelian Dialectic in full operation. They are setting up the world for the beast.

Just as I wrote in that blog entry in 2010.

They know how to manipulate people and today via the media, they got multiple layers, and both sides running, it's hard to know which way is up without God's help. I found myself horrified at discovering the elite high level Communist and other groups running this show, as well as the Jesuit "V" masks I have already talked about.

Looks like the Pope could be getting what he wants soon:

Just something to think about: [they believe the Pope will be the false prophet]

Interesting article here...[WARNING: from pro-homosexual secular liberal website] It is interesting to see those who are eager to have the Pope on "their side".

Occupy Wall Street: Pope Benedict XVI Voices Support Of Movement?

Well bear with me on this blog entry, just thinking aloud. Tell me your opinion.

Rev 17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

Elephant Room 2 [TD Jakes Invited]

See this first blog entry on the first Elephant Room: "The Elephant Room: Why'd They Name It That?"

Even in the trailer you can see the endless promotion of error and apostate churches.

The Elephant Room: Round 2 from Harvest Bible Chapel on Vimeo.

Looks like they are going to do some "arguing" which will help fool the masses, it's like when the Republican and Democrat politicians "argue" but a few figure out they all work for the same team.

From their website:

These are conversations about the most Christ honoring ways of building a church. Our goal is unity, however a true unity cannot be fashioned in pretense or denial of truth nor can it be won among those who prefer sectarianism to the unity Jesus prayed for. To advance Christ’s call to unity we must do what men have always done, we must push and prod and challenge and sharpen each other’s beliefs and methods. Fidelity and fruitfulness, both matter. No one has a corner on the truth and methods must do more than ‘work.’

No one has a corner on truth?, well not in apostate false churches....

The oddest nature of this one is the invitation of T.D. Jakes, [Pentecostal, Word of Faith, TBN] Guess that tells you how far things are gone. T.D. Jakes preaches the false health and wealth gospel.

They have too the past president of SBC, Jack Graham, Steven Furtick who was there last time, as well as others.

Others have complained about the invitation of T.D. Jakes, to me they are all apostates, but there is some information out there that TD Jakes even denies the Trinity. That one is bad enough but his errors go far further then that! James McArthur who is one of the sponsors defends the invitation.

"OWS: Are Mindless Americans Falling Prey to the New Revolution Business and It's Collectivist Trap?"

OWS: Are Mindless Americans Falling Prey to the Collectivist Trap?

Be careful of Infowars, one can get good information there, but I myself believe Alex Jones is an "insider" that plays defense for the Vatican and perhaps follows a few other agendas, but I am posting this article for the validity of some information with in it. It is interesting what they have to say about the call and repeat "microphone" system the protesters have been using as well as many other facets of this movement.

The NLP ‘call-and-repeat’ mechanism can no doubt be used to hypnotic effect. Often these type of techniques are used in order to filter out the free thinkers, intense self-policing at its most stringent. Notice that when group members are disagreeing, their hands are much lower, but at their maximum when ‘the bloc’ seems to all be in agreement.

What these protesters are hardly aware of, is that they may be participating a form of modern day group-think. It is a form of social control whereby everyone in the group believes that they must all agree and must all be of the same mind. Armed with this power new tool, consensus promoters can be bussed into sites around the country, training groups to chant key group-think talking points using mnemonic phrases.

Remember what I said about the Arab revolutions? See here, and here. How much of that was being fomented for the goals and aims of the global elite? While presented as movements of the people, they were co-opted from the start. Well if that can be done to small nations, why not big ones? The nature of a "world-wide revolution" too should give you pause if you are a student of Bible prophecy!

We know the Tea Party movement which seemed to have some legitimate causes at the start got co-opted by the false Republican party, why wouldn't the elites do something like that on the left, using all the out of work people and impoverished who are seeing the American dream die for their own causes? I have found myself while holding empathy for the poor suffering at the hands of the greedy bankers, telling people, that tyranny can come from two different directions. Sadly to say many human beings, remain woefully ignorant of how the right and left deception works, and how their unmet needs and emotions are exploited by the powerful.

This article points out some of the groups that have been behind these movements.

Hardly grass roots

It is already well documented that the original Occupy Wall Street protest was seeded by a collectivist George Soros funded foundation called Ad Busters, and allegedly supported by the shadowy agitator hacker group called Anonymous.

For the last decade, globalist foundations promoting democracy and freedom have been active in fomenting uprisings all over the planet, and fresh off their international successes they have finally come home to roost within the OWS movement.

But what is not as well documented is the involvement of the international CIA front organization called the Center for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies (CANVAS). This can be described as a kind of consultancy for would-be revolutionaries, an organization of professional agitators-for-hire who globe-trot, openly promoting their CFR-sponsored agenda- most notably in Egypt, where CANVAS trained and managed Egyptian protesters as early as 2009 in preparation for the fabled ‘Arab Spring’ in 2010-2011.

Their projects are clandestine, kept secret while in preparation, names of clients are not publically available, are well funded by American intelligence services. Yes, they are now active on US soil.

Years ago I was a reader of Adbusters. I even still own some which I refer to for research on the left side of the divide. The magazines oddly are very shiny and use all the same advertising techniques of the corporate masters they rally against. The magazines are full of a lot of deception some subtle and not so subtle, and occult markers.

While they are right about some of the abuses of the multi-national corporations, their solutions seems to be Communism and Collectivism/Socialism, with even more government control over food, resources and people. Noam Chomsky is lovely quoted in it's pages, while anti-consumerism is one of it's main agendas. They aren't the only group who is involved, but it says something how all the players are lining up.

There is a reason so much Communist imagery is showing up in Occupy Wall Street:

I wrote about the Occupy Wall Street movement here. "The Occupation of Wall Street: What Does It Mean?". The Jesuit and other markers are there in the movement itself as I noted on that article. To be frank, it seems to be just another new world order trap...

Sadly many people who are rightly fed up with huge debt, no jobs, poverty and seeing their communities decline, are joining with this movement, not realizing the bigger picture. The only ones who seem to see some pieces of the puzzle are the End the Fed protesters but they are few in number compared to the rest. Most people do not know how overwhelming the control of the global elites or the parts that groups like the CFR play. Often from what I have found, trying to describe the machinations of the new world order, very few will "get it", the indoctrination has been too strong via the media and rest. Unless someone has a free mind via the Lord or is a rare extreme independent thinker, most will remain blinded to your warnings. That doesn't mean stop warning people but realize what you are facing.

For years I have told people, it seems to me the elites want as much chaos as possible to seize control. Never forget the "order out of chaos' mantras of the new world order. Having read too many world war II history books, one thing I remember about the rise of Hitler, is how part of Hitler's ability to take control, was from fear of the Communists rioting in the streets. The two sides were used there too. One odd article I saw was "Occupy Wall Street's critique of capitalism echoes that of Pope John Paul II".

Tyranny can come from both the right and left, and I have warned about this on this blog enough times. For now I believe odds are is that Bildenberger would be choice Dominionist Rick Perry could be put in but who knows? Perhaps the path they have chosen is one of leftist tyranny. Obama has already led this country down that path for the last few years. This blogger warns that the unrest will be growing greater in America, I agree. Either way, as the Bible tells us, the Beast system is rising up, the one world government will be a reality. We can only guess what the specific plans for America will be. God is warning many of His people that things will be changing rapidly.

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Above Rubies Cultic Bracelets

Above Rubies magazine is a Quiverful magazine, part of the patriarchy movement, in it, is story after story of women with very large families. The other day, I saw this ad for bracelets in an Above Rubies magazine, I got from a local library.

The messages on these bracelets say it all, as to the falseness of this movement and how this world is a trap for the women within it. They also back up very cultic thinking. On my Quiverful article, I spoke of how women in the Quiverful, Above Rubies, Vision Forum, Patriarchy world, had "keeping sweet" emphasized. "Keeping sweet" means always smiling and never showing any negative emotions, ironically just like in the FLDS world.

As you wear them on your wrist each day you will be constantly reminded of your high and mighty calling as a mother and wife!

Each One Has An Encouraging Message:
I LOVE MOTHERHOOD
WE’RE A SMILING FAMILY
I’M A COVENANT KEEPER
I AM ABOVE SELF-PITY
MOTHERHOOD=ADVENTURE
I AM A NATION BUILDER
WORTH MORE THAN RUBIES

OK motherhood is nice, but when it is idolized in these movements, it becomes everything, of course it heads the top of the list. The "We are a smiling family" one seems to be about telling the 'cult" members to always keep a smile on their face. That is one facet of all false religions, is telling people to hide and closet all their true emotion.

Be warned watching the following video for its content, but one disturbing thing I have noticed watching the Duggars even, is that the mother's [Michelle Duggars] affect is severely "OFF". Something is very wrong with a woman, who will laugh and giggle [with no sign of fear on her face] at her son who is severely injured as well as take out a phone camera to film the proceedings. It wasn't for light, you can see his face right on her handheld phone. I saw this show the other day, and was severely disturbed. How much of that very odd reaction is is from the cultic Quiverful teachings, that tell the women to keep smiles plastered on their faces 24/7? Has it affected her emotional well-being? Where is the natural concern and fear a mother would have for a son who is in a severe medical crisis?

Cults always require that everyone smile so they present the cult in the best light. This is tied in to telling the cult members they are special and above normal human emotions. One thing cults also teach is superhuman perfection, and well, families that do not smile, probably wouldn't be acceptable in Above Rubies circles.

The "I am a covenant keeper" is tied into the false legalistic theology, the cult 'law-keeping", tied into the extreme authoritarianism of the patriarchy movement, as well as 'guilt' inducement for those who may not keep the covenants. Also remember many women in the Quiverful, Above Rubies and other related patriarchy movements, could actually be in churches where they have signed their names to actual covenants, I've seen them myself even in a mainstream SBC church.

Next is the "I am above self-pity" bracelet. Now self-pity should be avoided in it's extremes, but here too you see the stiff upper lip mandates. In cults people are influenced to suppress their own feelings, its part of the game. This goes along with extreme self denigration. While Christians are called to deny themselves in a biblical ways, cults take this to the extreme and twist it. Here you end up with smiling robots, who feel they must be the perfect step-ford wife, or they are not doing what is 'right". One wonders about "mind control" techniques used so steadily. If anyone tells you to deaden your emotions for anything, get away from that group. Our emotions are God-given and should be God-directed but other human beings should not tell you what to feel or not to feel. Now we may have to take any pain and self-pity to God for Him to take care of, but when other human beings tell you not to feel your feelings, a group has entered the danger zone of cult teachings.

Then there is a back-up for motherhood. That is fine, no problem with encouragement for mothers, but what about the Christian ladies who are not mothers, who may be single, childless or infertile. Even here, the circles draw around some women, making them more respectable in a movement, compared to others are wrong. Above Rubies, and I have read many of the magazines for myself, elevates mothers of extremely large families, to feel more special, then other ordinary women who may have no children or even under around 5 in number. This too is part of cult thinking where certain attributes are given to certain members but not available to all. God is no respecter of persons but cults definitely are.

"I am a Nation Builder" denotes the Dominionism. Notice it makes everything about THIS WORLD. America could fall, now while someone may love their country, countries come to an end. All empires eventually crash to the ground. Where does God say build nations in the Bible? Christians are to be out there preaching the gospel to who they can, not worry about building up the halls of powers and elites, but here you see Above Rubies, teaching it's women to jump on the Dominionism bandwagon and worship at the feet of kings. Many cults in this world have been used by global elites and kings do the bidding of politicians and other power circles. In this, Above Rubies is no different.

The last one is "Worth More Then Rubies". This comes from Proverbs 3. Now if only they would go read it:

Pro 3:13 ¶ Happy [is] the man [that] findeth wisdom, and the man [that] getteth understanding.

I worry for the women given these false messages, they need to know they can be true daughters in the Lord, and that true freedom is in Jesus Christ, they do not need to be trapped in these groups that deny God's truths and replace them with oppressive religion.

Are Poor People Leaving the Churches?

I find this study sort of biased, because why is there the automatic correlation between education and wealth, especially given that many with college degrees are ending up poor and unemployed? So ignore the biased "less educated" and translate it as poor.

"Our study suggests that the less educated are dropping out of the American religious sector, similarly to the way in which they have dropped out of the American labor market," said lead researcher W. Bradford Wilcox, a professor of sociology at the University of Virginia.

We are one of the most over-educated and under-employed societies in history, but I found it interesting how they point out how low incomes mean staying out of the church houses. They focus on white Americans, I supposed because churches have served a different role historically in African American circles, but this secular study comes to the conclusion that less white poor people are attending the churches out there. On this blog I've discussed the demographics, the seeker sensitives and hirelings are going for, the people with MONEY to fill the pews and to fill their coffers.

The study also shows that Americans with higher incomes attend religious services more often, and those who have experienced unemployment at some point over the past 10 years attend less often. In addition, the study finds that those who are married (especially if they have children), those who hold more conservative views toward premarital sex, and those who lost their virginity later than their peers, attend religious services more frequently.

So why are the folks with higher incomes attending religious services more often? Because they are what the churches are being marketed for of course. It is interesting that the unemployed drop out as well. I found this part odd the implications especially in today's economy that poor equals uneducated, considering I personally know unemployed people with master's degrees, I ask what planet are these researchers on? Also stable incomes mean father's able to support families and more stability in having children.

One commenter was very blunt in his response to this study :

People don't go to church because they realize the organizations are corrupt, and in no way reflect the teachings or practices of Jesus or the early church.

Biblically, tithing was abolished under the new covenant, BTW. I think it is mentioned exactly a few times in the New Testament, but most of those are where Jesus is criticizing the fact the pharisees are hypocrites about it.

Church in America has become nothing more than a ponzi scheme to make the pastor and a few of their buddies wealthy at everyone else's expense. It certainly isn't about finding God, and it certainly isn't about doing good for needy people either, most of the time.

No true Christian belongs in a church.

I have had many poorer people tell me they stay out of the churches, because of the pressure for tithes, and financially supporting the church, and a feeling of not belonging. While I experienced a small church that was good to the poor, they are out there, this is a trend I have had people personally talk to me about.

Oh one thing too, when you read the verse about the tithing, all the false preachers refer to, they skew it for their own enrichment. The main verse used is Malachi 3:10. I do not agree with this author on everything, he is a dispensationalist and belongs to the NEA, but he is correct about some of the false aspects of tithing teachings and how they are abused in the churches. Those who say you are under a 10% tithe and if you don't come up with your 10% that you are not in God's will, are wrong. Christians are not under the law. Let God lead you in your giving.

Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Cell Churches Are a Pyramid Scheme?

See this blog entry article for context:

"Beware of Cell Groups and Life Groups"

This is a secular website that comes from left side of things, but I think they are on to something here.

Cell Churches 101: Setting up your own religious pyramid scheme

How cell-churches work is actually rather simple--the best model to look at, in fact, is probably the plethora of "affinity schemes" and similar pyramid schemes promoted throughout the dominionist community.

At top, you have the pastor. Below him, he is "shepherd" over the assistant pastors; these are in turn "shepherds" over the deacons; the deacons are in turn "shepherds" over the small-group managers, these in turn are "shepherds" over smaller groups, and so on until you get down to "home churches" or "cell churches" of around six people, including a "shepherd".

Those of you who are familiar with pyramid schemes and multi-level marketing have seen this before. Namely, everyone reports to or gives money to the "upstream", and they report to the "upstream", and so on and so on till you hit the very head of the organisation.

AmWay (which I've reported on before in regards to their own dominionist connections and in particular the promotion of frank Assemblies theology in the Yaeger downline) also tends to operate a lot like this; to this day I have to wonder which came first--the MLM, or the remarkably MLM-like setup used in cell churches.

At any rate, there's a lot of evidence to suggest that this form of setup is inherently abusive--a surprising number of MLMs (not just AmWay IBOs, but things like Herbalife and such) are considered potentially abusive because of the pressure given to members by the "leaders" of that particular level.

However, this is relatively small potatoes in comparison to the level of coercion in a typical neopente cell-church.

At any rate, I do mention this setup because it's important to know how they work--as it is, these are incredibly effective tools both for very rapid growth and for ensuring control. (If you have multiple "big brothers" reporting back and "herding" a group, it becomes very difficult indeed to have any dissent in practice.)

In the case of Yoido Full Gospel, the level of layering is very apparent in the first three layers--Cho at top, and 171 associate pastors and 356 lay pastors (who are themselves supervised by associate pastors). The number of potential "big brothers" only gets more numerous from there.

And, as it turns out, the primary problem IS with these "big brothers"--just as it is with other kinds of pyramids. An article from a rare premillenial dispensationalist church opposed to dominionist tactics lays out how these groups operate in practice:

"I want to be a millionaire pastor-billionaire celebrity"

One of Paul Crouch's mansions.

"I want to be a millionaire pastor-billionaire celebrity" [turn off music when going to this website, it is secular wicked music]

This blog shows all the multi-million dollar homes of some of the hirelings.

2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The Oppression of Youth And Dominionism

One caveat before I begin this one, this post is not about all parents that happen to go to Dominionist focused churches, there are people even within those churches who dearly love their children and treat them right but trends that are happening with different areas and with some teachers. I am going to be taking on multiple trends, they all come out of circles of Dominionist influenced "Christianity" and to me show how the totalitarianism of Dominionism is not just intended for the political order but the family as well.

More and more you see abuse out there put under false "Christian" guises. That is a major problem but in Dominionism, there is definitely an emphasis on extreme authoritarian parenting that is growing. One thing about young people, too many Christian parents think they can *make* them be Christian and *force* them to be good people. It's not going to happen. Only God can truly convict hearts and every individual's faith must be personal, it does not come about via Mom or Dad. It doesn't happen that way. A grown child or child needs to be born again themselves, and in freedom, train a child in the way they should go as the Bible states but the Bible also states this:

Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Notice one of the words NURTURE??

One of the most evil two words together I have always seen is the misnomer known as TOUGH LOVE. You wonder who came up with that one? While I can understand parents not giving into to their drug addicted grown-child's demands, much of tough love was forwarded for the younger set. As if this world isn't tough enough, in pummeling the young person with unemployment, coldness, and endless competition just to survive, instead of parents being told comfort and help their children, they are told to be tougher, and hard. While children should be brought up with some responsibility, and self reliance, things really got out of whack here. How much of this was used to undermine natural family ties of love and affection?

While decent parents may face times when it is necessary to let an older grown child go in making their own decisions that are ungodly, and deal with children who are facing other problems, there is something seriously wrong out there, in that too many parents think they can CONTROL their children and even grown children and force them into submission.Too many are making it about breaking the child's will in fact that is the focus, to break the will of the child, so they become a broken person, to submit and bring total unthinking blind obedience. The seeds of Dominionism, are not just for the government and politicians, they are working on the social order, the families and have for decades.

I have talked about how in Vision Forum and patriarchy has been advanced where obedience to one's father [not the Heavenly Father] is put at the top of the list even for grown women and adult sons. Actually few realize all this total obedience is just how Islam does it in their fundamentalist circles for women, where even a widow must obey her grown son. Vision Forum advances total patriarchal obedience this is sold to well meaning people under the guise of 'protection'. Of course Vision Forum never addresses the problems of abusive fathers, or ones who may not even be Christian, or the oddness in a grown woman never becoming her own person. The reality is that if you remain unmarried and at home "obeying", that one day, your parents will die from old age and when people hit their middle years, this is more common then not. This website is right about this aspect of Vision Forum:

Young women will be protected from the debauchery of college men, Vision Forum promises – if they stay home and obey their fathers. Middle aged women will be free from the pressure to conform to an idealized image of sexy, Vision Forum asserts – if they stay home and obey their husbands. What is this? You will be valued and protected if you surrender all your rights and obey your male authority? THIS is the solution Vision Forum offers!

The other day I had the Duggars on, now I have written about the Duggars, being connected to Quiverful and Vision Forum. One odd scene was Michelle Duggar shaking her finger at some of the toddlers telling them to obey. Nothing wrong with that at least on the surface, all parents tell their children to obey. While the children are nice and respectful, few realize how intense the "training" behind the scenes is:

This doesn't sound so bad to a point, who doesn't want a child to learn to be able to sit still, and listen to their teacher or to their parents or not spending hours bickering...But few have heard of something called "blanket training" and this is something the Duggars have used [I do not know if the Duggars use any of the physical punishments or not spoken of below]

One lady with seven children describes how to blanket train on her website, while some of her ideas are good like keeping children busy during long sermons looking for certain words, the blanket training methods seem pretty worrisome. Do not forget a child's natural inclination is to explore the world around them, and this definitely puts a stop to that.

Blanket training" has been one of the most helpful tools for me! I only wish that I had heard about it before my 7th child came along!! The sweet lady who explained blanket training to me called it her "playpen in a purse"! This concept involves placing your baby or toddler on his/her favorite blanket, explaining to the best of their understanding that they must stay on their blanket, and then demonstrating the consequences of getting off the blanket with a small rod or switch. Simply switch the floor or carpet all around the outside edges of the blanket and firmly but sweetly say, "No, No! Don't touch!" Give your child few favorite toys to keep his attention, and switch the toys out every little bit, and that child will learn to stay on his blanket for quite a long period of time. Begin with just 3 - 5 minutes with very young children, and after practicing every day for several weeks, he will build up his time to play happily on that blanket until he can stay there for an hour or more! What a joy and a help this was to me when I had the older 6 children in school and needed to spend time with them! The joy of this training is that you can fold that blanket up, put it in the diaper bag, and take it easily to a friend's house, or visiting new church members, and your child will sit quietly without disrupting the visit! One of my pet peeves is when folks come to visit and just "unleash" their children to invade every room of your home! What chaos! This blanket training is easily converted to "church training" when you begin taking your young child into the services. Simply fold the blanket and put it on the pew and your child will already understand the limitations and rules!

Another website, describes blanket training more.

1: STAY ON THE BLANKET! Place the baby or small child on the blanket with a basket or Rubbermaid container full of items that are only taken out when blanket time is in session. Explain, even to babies, that they are to stay on the blanket and not get off or they will receive a small swat on the diaper. This may seem harsh, but the Bible clearly teaches that rods of discipline are to be used for training and discipline. With consistency your child will only require a few swats, at best. As soon as your baby or small child leaves the confines of the blanket, swat first and then explain gently as to why he or she was reprimanded. Place the child back on the blanket and repeat, as needed.

She writes on the website, the "swats" are to be light taps, I think it's scary for someone to spank babies too young to know what is going on, and it's very worrisome, notice the focus on CONTROL. Is doing what is easiest for parents, always best for the children? What about the child's natural inclination to explore. What about natural interaction between mother and child, where the mother does not become a prison warden? Is that what these "Christian" parents want to be prison wardens of perfect little robotic step-ford children? Some of the rules are odd, in telling the other children not to talk to the "baby" being blanket trained. Many of this "training" is not starting at one year or two years, but for babies who are just starting to crawl.

While the Bible speaks of training [disciplining not training like a pet] a child, this definitely takes things way too far. Now the Duggars do seem to love their children, but one wonders how things will be for them as they grow up where so much of their lives have been directed and seemingly from a young age. One can see the blanket training still in operation. Are personalities of total obedience and repression healthy ones? That is something to think about.

To me it sums up some really weird attitudes out there in some areas of the "Christian" world about young people. Do some of these people even see children as unique human beings who have the same dignity in God's eyes as themselves but happen to be younger ages? Do they see them as one day future adults who will have to stand on their own two feet? What is very odd to me, and I am thinking back to college psychology classes here, is that a lot of the "training" not just the blanket training seems to remind me of extreme godless psychology, especially from the branch called "Behaviorism" made famous by B.F.Skinner. He operated via Operant conditioning principles, the blanket training doesn't seem to far off, to tell you the truth:

B. F. Skinner’s entire system is based on operant conditioning. The organism is in the process of “operating” on the environment, which in ordinary terms means it is bouncing around its world, doing what it does. During this “operating,” the organism encounters a special kind of stimulus, called a reinforcing stimulus, or simply a reinforcer. This special stimulus has the effect of increasing the operant -- that is, the behavior occurring just before the reinforcer. This is operant conditioning: “the behavior is followed by a consequence, and the nature of the consequence modifies the organisms tendency to repeat the behavior in the future.”

His Skinner boxes used rats, but he wanted these things used on human beings, where reward and punishment would direct all behavior. I saw the use of such things even in a R.E.T. [Rational Emotive Therapy] System popularized by a different psychologist that was used in a secular school I worked in to the point that reward, demand and points were all scripted, and children not treated as individuals but had points mechanically assigned for good behavior and reduced for bad. If any of the staff deviated from the scripts [we had scripts we had to follow even during their misbehavior], we were to be reprimanded. In high school I remember reading Walden II where Skinner imagined a "new Utopian society" with use of his behaviorism. I have even known of schools of psychology where behaviorism was idealized and promoted at least 25 years ago. Hate to say it, but I see it's tendrils having entered in all over the place with these youth schools, "Christian" child training programs and the rest.

When I read about some of the child training, nothing about it seems biblical, they throw out a few verses but who ever heard of blanket training for babies in the 1890s the period of time they love to invoke? Even the Pearls seem to use a few of these "behaviorist methods" where "negative stimuli is supposed to invoke desired behavior"...This one is pretty scary:

A tiny stimulus to direct the child when they are small is enough. For example, if a 3 month-old nursing baby bites, don’t spank. She does not know she did bad. Just gently pull a hair on her head. She will startle back in momentary discomfort and immediately start nursing again. The tiny bit of discomfort makes the baby relate the biting down with the gentle pulling of the hair. You have not made her obey, you have only conditioned her to respond differently. That is training.

and here too...

But they cannot be absolutely trained. Proper application of the rod is indispensable to communicating the divine principle of retributive justice, but any child, military man, employee, the neighbor’s kid, your dog, cat, or the birds in your yard can be trained through manipulating their relationship to their environment. Any creature that is self-motivated and has likes and dislikes can be trained if you are in a position to reward or deny any pleasure or need. Where humans are concerned you have the added tools of reason, moral persuasion, social persuasion, and conscience. Where it concerns those that are close to you, that is, they depend upon your fellowship for their mental satisfaction, you have the additional tools of persuasion and example.

Are parents supposed to "CONDITION" children or are they supposed to teach them in a loving fashion? How much of these teachings are based on CONDITIONING and inherited from the psychology world, where 'conditioning" was used to ensure desired behaviors from animals and then translated onto children? The Pearls themselves even connect their methods to animal training and you can see multiple examples on the first page of their book "To Train Up a Child".

Here we see the promotion of things, that lead to more disconnection between humans. One part of human growth is learning to be connected and loved by their first care givers. It is supposed to be about a relationship not about control and a long list of rules. Even thinking regarding one's relationship with God and what that is to entail, you wonder how these people went this way.

Where is the humanity in all of this stuff? Why have parents be 'drill sergeants" instead of loving, teaching, providing care or preparing young people for an independent adult life. While parents do have to put down some consequences for bad behavior and teach children right from wrong, total control is wrong. A true Christian adult life, should be directed at the Lord's behest, conviction via the Holy Spirit, not just following a long series of rules, that others have set up for you or via CONDITIONING that started in infancy to keep you compliant. It shouldn't be about not allowing you to grow up.

There is some natural separating from children and their parents as they grow into adulthood, seeing this suppressed so adamantly is scary. If you want your child to be a Christian telling them, you better be a Christian [or else!] isn't going to cut it. Telling them follow these rules with no rhyme or reason, will not lead to a life where they are directed by God. Thinking that over-controlling them will keep them from sin is wrong, in fact it will actually open many of them to more open rebellion. You must lead by example and with love. Once your child is of age, while you may seek to instruct and influence, their decisions are to be their own.

What happens when all life life long conditioning takes precedent, and extreme sheltering and dependence come out in wash? One odd aspect of these movements seems to take sheltering the young people blocking their eyes, or ears, or brains from even knowing anything that happens in the outside world. Here is an example of a book written for Dominionist parents.

Do they really expect their children to be able to cope with the world, hiding them from everything. I can understand guarding your child's eyes and ears from things they are not ready for, violence, sex on TV and movies, and protecting them from things that would harm them even physically AND emotionally, but there is a line where over-protection gets carried away and where it becomes about locking that child's mind up. Untested "Christianity" remains facile, if they do not even know the existence of other religions or the deceptions people can fall into, if they are left ignorant on purpose. What happens to a Christian child who has never encountered or learned about the "outside" world at all even to be ready for it? It's like the Christian Dominionist world took secular helicopter parenting and raised it a few notches.

One thing I want to inform here, does Jesus Christ teach total obedience to parents or sheltering by parents when he states this?

Mat 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Many out there will be at variance with relatives, parents, fathers, in obeying Jesus Christ. I dare say that will apply to the Dominionist and Patriarchy strands of false religion as well as leaving any other cult a grown child may have been raised in.

As I have written The Patriarchy movement with its extreme authoritarianism is an extreme example of this, where even a "Stay At Home Daughter" 30 year old daughter is taught she has to have every move approved of by the father she still lives with and where she must obey like a 10 year old.

You also see the weird Purity Balls, where daughters are instructed to swear their virginity to their fathers. To be frank while parents should teach their daughters to save sex for marriage and keep themselves pure, this all smacks of severe unnecessary regulation and distrust of those same daughters to make the right decision. It also crosses boundaries that should not be crossed. That should be between them and God when they are adults, and hopefully they will make the right biblical decisions. Why is there a trend in some circles of "Dominionist Christianity" where fathers will be choosing or at least having to approve these girl's future husbands? How come purity is never spoken of regarding the young men? One odd trend in purity circles and one saw it with the Duggars oldest son and wife to be, is the extreme of teaching daughters they cannot even kiss a fiance' and must wait til the wedding day. Years ago when I was a liberal UU, while the Handmaiden's Tale was a wicked book, that promoted abortion in inverse, this set up seems to follow the story line of an extreme patriarchial theocratic society.

Do these "Christians" even realize they are following in fundamentalist Islam's footsteps. What next a bride price and negotiating between fathers for each marriage? What about having the teachings of Christianity where the Holy Spirit leads a daughter to make the right decisions instead of having it forced upon them via supervision by her father? Again it makes everything about authority. Even if society is disgustingly debauched and you fear for your daughter, you do not impose such things upon then. The odd statement within the video, "The father is everything" is just more of that backwards promotion of patriarchy. Sadly people who have rightly tired of the moral decay of society are being seduced into these programs.

But then you see the popularity of the Pearls whose program focuses on training children to submit to authority [or else! in many cases] and it really makes you start to wonder. The Pearls whose writings are used in many conservative and fundametnalist Christian circles, do advocate 'training", and "harsh punishment" for children. Bill Gothard as well focuses on 'character training" and "obedience drills" where children sing the praises of obedience and to announce they are grateful for the opportunity to follow orders:
and

Gothard teaches in his seminars that obedience brings godliness. Authority figures - the father, the politician, the minister, and the boss - are to be obeyed as if Christ were giving the orders. Gothard's ideas of family life are rigid, as wives are taught to be submissive and men are encouraged to be the absolute head of the household. Quotes from the Bible are used as backup to his assertions. The biblical justification for always being subservient to the boss comes from 1 Peter 2:18: "Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear."

Authority figures, according to Gothard, are on a higher spiritual plain than ordinary folk, and obeying them will help one get closer to God. He tells his followers that they are to obey everything, except orders to do "evil." If your boss is dead wrong, Gothard says it's OK to make a "Godly appeal" to him, but if the appeal is refused, the worker must live with it
.

Blind obedience to authority figures is never a good thing. It is scary to me that Gothard teaches that authority figures have more moral claim and are on a higher level, it reminds me of Catholicism where we were taught that clergy and the "religious" were better people and we were to obey them. Even the extreme emphasis on "virginity" and "purity" is nothing new to me since even in the Catholic church, as I was educated by nuns, this was a constant theme. These are good things in themselves but can be abused. Now blind obedience has infested the evangelical world. This isn't the only Catholic saint, who demanded blind obedience to religious authority. It is a theme of every cult out there.

Obey blindly , that is, without asking reasons. Be careful, then, never to examine the directions of your confessor....In a word, keep before your eyes this great rule, that in obeying your confessor you obey God. Force yourself then, to obey him in spite of all fears. And be persuaded that if you are not obedient to him it will be impossible for you to go on well; but if you obey him you are secure. But you say, if I am damned in consequence of obeying my confessor, who will rescue me from hell? What you say is impossible." St. Alphonsus De Liguori, True Spouse of Christ, p 352, Benziger Brothers, NY.

See how that works? One thing with all this blind obedience that is advocated, is the authority of priests, popes, well in this case evangelical preachers, and teachers and religious figures, and even your own biological father in the case of patriarchy is elevated to the extreme. This would include the politicians and other "leaders" of the world too. What better way to keep people unquestioning sheeple, then by training them from childhood to always obey and if they don't or they dare to question, that the punishment will be swift, sure and severe?

There is something being advanced in many Dominionist "Christian circles", where all the NUTURE has been taken out of child-rearing, all the comfort and more. Is there a sociological reason for all the extreme hyper-authoritarian parenting that has taken hold among Dominionism and related partriarchy groups? I realize some are well meaning people who are getting sucked into this stuff, the changes in this world are scary, the moral decay the rot, they know too many young adults falling into the abyss of drugs, sexual debauchery, and rejecting moral values, but squeezing the hand of parental control to super-rigid extents is no answer too. It makes one wonder. I remember reading books on German history that spoke of the years before Hitler, where authoritarian parenting was cultural and it makes one wonder how it could be used to make for a passive populace. As I have written on this blog, some do not see the luciferian big picture, but for this "child-rearing" changes, to me there is one. It is about CONTROL and about the waxing cold of the last days, where natural affection and love, are canceled out.

Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Most of the "Christians" being led into these child-rearing methods are unknowing people, they want to do the "right thing" they want to protect their children from harm, drugs, teen pregnancy, witchcraft, alcoholism, but sadly they are being led down yet another false rabbit trail, and it is not just the very extremes of the Dominionist Quiverful Patriarchy crowd, it's infested itself everywhere into American society from James Dobson to the high schools with their guards at the front door.

One sees the "tough love", "keep the young people under control" ethos all over the place, there are 'fundamentalist" colleges that treat 20 year old young adults like children, and 'ground' them or what they call "campus" them for a variety of offenses, some rather small. Some have rules where no young woman can leave the campus without chaperones or permission. What is astonishing about this, is how will such a young woman learn to survive in today's world when she is graduated from that college? Husbands work and cannot accompany them everywhere they go in the future. If behavior is not self-directed from the inside, but only imposed by strict forces from the outside, a child or teen does not mature and grow normally.

Rome had its schools of evil where children were beaten, abused and even put to work such as in the Magdalene laundries, but it's scary when you see in the news so many evangelical and fundamentalist Christians schools seeming to go that way. I ran across this recently and was horrified.

Anyone who runs a school like this is a definite wolf. There is no Christian love in beating, abusing and humiliating children to submit to your will. Those who think they can turn their children into loving, obedient Christians via FORCE have already lost the plot. Ever wonder why so many of these schools keep popping up? Why do they all seem run by fanatical mad tyrants? One can see the endless lists, Hephzibah House the Roloff Homes and many more. Why is so much of this happening?

A very likely spiritual outcome is they could turn those children into die-hard atheists for life, as the main example of "Christianity" they see includes beatings, abuse and an endless list of draconian rules even for the ones who are not out and out physically abused.

Some years ago, on a message board, I even saw a couple of "Christians" defend this story where a girl was tied to a truck at a boot camp and dragged. They acted like she deserved what happened to her. No Christian love there. That is one of the times I have been most upset dealing with false Christians online. To defend such a thing was sickening. This girl could have been killed.

A teenage girl attending a Christian "boot camp" in Texas was allegedly tied to a van and dragged along the ground after falling behind during a morning run.

Police said yesterday that a pastor and camp counsellor [sic] were arrested on aggravated assault charges after the 15-year-old girl suffered injuries at the Faith Outreach Centre in a suburb of San Antonio.

A police spokesman said the incident took place in June and was reported to police by the mother of the girl after she was hospitalised for unspecified injuries.

Charles Flowers, a senior pastor, and Stephanie Bassitt, a counsellor, were arrested on Friday.

The girl, who has not been named, was apparently participating in a running exercise at the military-style Love Demonstrated Ministries camp when she became tired.

Why are "Christians" running schools that are like military camps and treating young girls the same like young men? Of course even the regular military has laws against what happened to that girl. Isn't it ironic that those who claim to care about biblical femininity and promote "patriarchy" set up schools and institutions that hold expectations for young women that match those for the most hard core Marine?

Many do not know about the whole "troubled teen" industry where wealthy parents send supposedly out of control teens to out of country or out of state wilderness and other schools where boot camp and austere living are promoted and extreme punishments for the smallest infractions are given. Many of these schools claim they are "Christian". One wonders how much deep "mind control" and other evil agendas are tied to these places given their sometimes out and out torture of young people. How much of this is about experiments for control of the populace and the planned totalitarianism? After all if you break down the young people under extreme oppressive authority what will they become? Even the public schools have rapidly changed to this sort of thing: "Life in US Public Schools is Just Like Prison".

See here

The school has a current enrollment of 63 children, placed in the school by parents in an effort to remedy behavior problems. New Horizon uses a boot-camp atmosphere to place children onto what school officials believe to be the right road for life.

A handful of protesters showed at a Founder's Day celebration this month at the Marion campus.

"We want people to ask us about our experiences in the program, educate those who didn't know about the program and let students see that we are rooting for them," said Lisa Brown Wilbur of New Castle as she held a sign reading "Stop the Abuse."

The protesters painted a picture of complete dictation, a life completely monitored by counselors.

And yes in those places their lives are totally controlled and monitored. Many of these schools including secular ones, are full of human rights violations, extreme punishments, like withholding food and sleep and hours of hard labor, and oppressive behavior modification methods.

This is just one of the many examples among many. Some young people have lost their lives in the worse places. These schools grew numerous in the 80s but kept expanding in the 90s. Many parents were told this was the best way to deal with their troubled teens. In some circles, harsh punishment was promoted for every problem a young person was to face, strip their room clean of every item except the mattress, send them off to "wilderness camps" or "bootcamps" where intense physical exercise and brutality ruled. Young adults who encountered health problems or could not take the strain, have died at these places.

The "or else" reached an alarming level in the wilderness programs where kids have actually died as a result of untrained staff taking them to potentially dangerous wilderness areas. The most notorious case was that of Aaron Bacon. As a small child, Aaron was the kind of boy who brought food to the homeless and let them take showers in the guesthouse. "II sat him down and said, 'Look, you can't do that,'" his mother,Sally recalls. "'We don't know if these people will harm you.' And he looked at me and said, 'Mom, we have a house. We have love. We have each other. They don't have anything and I won't stop.'"7

In high school, Aaron began taking drugs. His mother put him in North Star Expeditions. She expected him to be "out there with God and Nature and himself writing." The program gave Aaron a pair of cheap boots that were too small, a sleeping bag and a backpack. He was never given warm enough clothing. A few days later, he developed the first symptoms of intestinal problams. The staff told Aaron that "all counselors, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists are quacks.8 The campers had to learn how to make a fire with a native bow drill technique and were not allowed to cook their food until they learned. Already hungry because most of the food, such as lentils and rice, was inedible if it wasn't cooked, they were put on a two-day fast. He had trouble from the very start, developing blisters in his too-tight boots, staggering and falling from the combined weight of his backpack and lack of food. The worst thing was the ulcer that began on the first day and developed until it became perforated (intestinal fluids leaking into his abdominal cavity, causing peritoritus).

Often desperate parents with drug addicted children with nowhere else to turn, sadly are exploited by such places.

Years ago I read a book called

It's a autobiography by a woman who had abusive parents who sent her to one of these schools. They put forth themselves as Christians, but seem to be psychopaths, the father even breaks one of her adopted brothers arms in a fit of anger. In this case they attend an ultra-strict Calvinist church, but the story of how they are sent to this school overseas that is so strict, they enforce endless stupid rules, force them to live a dangerous third world lifestyle, with starvation and over-work included. They also prevent the sister and brother from having contact with each other. The school is the zenith of totalitarian rule, and control. Thankfully they both escape, but barely.

"For Julia Scheeres and her adopted brother David, "Jesus Land" stretched from their parents' fundamentalist home, past the hostilities of high school, and deep into a Christian reform school in the Dominican Republic. For these two teenagers - brother and sister, black and white - the 1980's were a trial by fire." "In this memoir, Scheeres takes us from the familiar Midwest, a land of cottonwood trees and trailer parks, to a place beyond her imagining. At home, the Scheeres kids must endure the usual trials of adolescence - high-school hormones, incessant bullying, and the deep-seated restlessness of social misfits everywhere - under the shadow of virulent racism neither knows how to contend with. When they start to crack (or fight back), they are packed off to Escuela Caribe." This brutal, prison-like "Christian boot camp" demands that its inhabitants repent for their sins - sins that few of them are aware of having committed"

Things are getting rather bad out there.

I believe the oppression of youth, comes as a natural outcome of the false DOMINIONIST teachings, they are definitely connected. if everything is about control, authority, oppression, coloring in between the lines for society, wouldn't it influence the families who are in these churches? Wouldn't it influence the nature of these so called "Christian" schools for troubled youth? In a burgeoning police state, the heavy hand of authority on all levels is emphasized more and more. Children are raised with submission to authority as the first thing. Fascism married to a false "Christianity" that emphasizes extreme authoritarianism and here you see the evil fruits for the young people.
