Ray Comfort and Doug Phillips of Vision Forum?

I don't know the circumstances of this meeting, if they ran into each other or what....but am posting this for your perusal.

Of course Kirk Cameron who has a joint ministry with Ray Comfort, has worked with Vision Forum

It's too bad these two haven't discerned the truth about Vision Forum. Way of the Master had some interesting videos but with too much of the easy believism bent. I do see them as a neo-evangelical ministry given it's ties to TBN, and other ecumenical endeavors, and do not support it.

Ray Comfort just has too many ties to the false preachers within the one world system:

RAY COMFORT

Ray Comfort's ministry has been commended by Franklin Graham, Ravi Zacharias, John MacArthur, David Jeremiah, Josh McDowell, Dr. Norman Geisler, Bill Gothard, David Wilkerson, Joni Eareckson Tada, and many other Christian leaders. He has written for Billy Graham's Decision magazine and Bill Bright's Worldwide Challenge.

His literature is used by the Moody Bible Institute, Leighton Ford Ministries, Campus Crusade For Christ, Institute in Basic Life Principles, and the Institute for Scientific & Biblical Research. He has also written more than 60 books and is a regular platform speaker at Southern Baptist State Conferences...

BILL GOTHARD too?

Those Hurt By Cults, Toxic Churches And False Pastors

Spiritual abuse is a problem out there. Many people for evil use religion to control. We see ourselves this done on the wider world scale with the politicians and elites who use the religions for control but it is also done on the smaller scope within churches and families. Some of the worse damage can be done to people by the wicked who do it in "god's name". Having dealt with people from a nun who was abused by a severe traditional convent--she told me tales of being forced to sleep on the floor and once being forced to clean the floor with a toothbrush--not just a mythical punishment, to two girls I knew as a young girl, whose father never allowed them to leave the house, and totally controlled them under the name of religion--homeschooling done the most wrong way- not even allowing them to speak to other neighborhood children, to the many others who have ended up as shells of despair from the cruelty they faced, the outcomes of all this spiritual abuse has been made evident. One main aspect of spiritual abuse, is those in authority abusing the more weak and vulnerable whether it be children or those who place their faith in a leader who fails them.

Spiritual abuse is the maltreatment of a person in the name of God, faith, religion, or church, whether habitual or not, and includes any of the following:

Psychological and emotional abuse
Any act by deeds or words that demean, humiliate or shame the natural worth and dignity of a person as a human being
Submission to spiritual authority without any right to disagree; intimidation
Unreasonable control of a person's basic right to make a choice on spiritual matters
False accusation and repeated criticism by negatively labeling a person as disobedient, rebellious, lacking faith, demonized, apostate, enemy of the church or God
Prevention from practicing faith
Isolation or separation from family and friends due to religious affiliation
Physical abuse that includes physical injury, deprivation of sustenance, and sexual abuse
Exclusivity; dismissal of an outsider's criticism and labeling an outsider as of the devil
Withholding information and giving of information only to a selected few
Conformity to a dangerous or unnatural religious view and practiceHostility that includes shunning, (relational aggression, parental alienation) and persecution

We know about the havoc cults create, destroying families, children, including the physical and sexual abuse that hits the news, there are toxic churches as well, where while they may not grab ahold of member's bank accounts, wives and children, will use 'religion' for abuse and control. The consistent mainstay of spiritual abuse, is false authority where leaders abuse power and control using "God" to gain misdirected obedience and loyalty. There are a lot of hurting people out there, who connect religion to "abuse" and control. In many cases they are correct about its main objectives.

The other day, I found myself witnessing to someone who had suffered serious abuse in a cultic Jehovah Witness organization that practiced full blown shunning of any members who left, including separation between family members and where spiritual abuse reigned. Anyone who left the church was never to be spoken to again. Imagine if you left a church, and your family was taught they could no longer talk to you again: this was this lady's experience. I experienced some mild shunning when I left the Catholic church, some non immediate relatives refused to come to my non-Catholic wedding, but it wasn't like being in a cult where one's entire family turns their back on you. Imagine what that must do to a young person.

In this case, I told her that the Jehovah Witness religion taught false things, denied Jesus Christ as God, and that she was correct when she stated that many religions including false "Christian" churches just desire power and control. I of course had preached the gospel to her first as well, and she told me at the end she would think about what I had told her. Of course being given a false religion like this, you see the scores of people turned away from what they *think" is Christianity, and I encounter them quite a bit when out there, witnessing to folks. I have had one person say to me, "Biblebeliever, you are nice, how can you be a Christian?"which tells me they have encountered some very not so nice people before." A lot of people have expressed to me that they are even "AFRAID" of Christians, now with some unbelievers this may be an excuse they use to run from confronting their own sin and repentance, but for others, I think it could have validity...if after all you are abused by someone who emphasizes their "Christian" identity but shows nothing truly Christian, if you know no different and have no access to God's Word and how a true Christian is really supposed to act, how can you know any different?

All you have to do is tour a few websites out there. While some of the persecuted classes stuff can be taken to the extremes, there are lots of websites for "recovering this" and "that" and those telling tales of abuse at the hands of religionists. Even on the ex-fundamentalist websites like this one, some of what they write seriously concerns me. Are they all recalcitrant rebels spitting at God, and refusing Him? Perhaps a few are. But when you see things like this written, you know someone got the approach wrong...

They’ve learned not to question or express themselves. They’ve learned that it’s not what you do that counts but how people perceive what you are doing. And they’ve learned that perfection on the outside is actually better than perfection on the inside. In a thousand tiny unspoken ways they have begun to skip down the primrose path to fundydom.

Some may say, why are you taking the embittered words, of some nonbeliever who went away from the faith presented to them as a child, but they are on to something, don't we see much of that focus on the "perfection on the outside" even as far the Vision Forum stuff and the rest of it goes? When being a "Christian" becomes a "lifestyle" TM run from that as well. It is based in self righteousness. They obviously were taught wrong and given a very poor example of what a Christian was supposed to be. While the world will abuse the "do not judge" mantras to excuse sin and evil, we do not want to fall into the trap on the other side:

Luk 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Luk 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as [his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified [rather] than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

If anything that serves to chase the non-believers from the gospel as well, if destructive cults make the focus of everything your own "perfection" instead of telling them of being born again via the perfection in Jesus Christ that is where people lose the plot too. And here too, the false preachers elevate themselves and sadly too many people look to the status of this world and everything to define them rather then having God define them.

That's one tactic, the false preachers of the world and others use, against people, the claim to be 'experts" and sadly given the woeful knowledge out there regarding God's Word and if only people would pick it up and READ IT, sadly many trust in these pastors, even abusive ones, believing they hold much more knowledge and abilities that they themselves lack. Normal folks just see themselves as the "little people" forgetting God is no respecter of persons, and mistakenly think these pastors are closer to God then them and always "know more". This is one way, they get one over on people, so any charlatan with an excellent memory for bible verses, or with a savant skill in speaking, can claim to be over large numbers of people.

This applies to ALL the SAINTS, not just the guy in the pulpit:

1Cr 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

It is getting tough out there, the lady who fled the Jehovah Witness cult is far from the only person who has faced an abusive cult and when you meet someone like this, and see the damage that has been done, in "god's" name, it can lead people away from the true gospel and Jesus Christ and for them to run from "Christianity" or what they think is "Christianity" as well. As I spoke with her, I realized she would need my prayers, as she had come to reject even "God" outside of a new age-hindu"namaste" version of the 'god within" every human.

I rejected what I thought was "Christianity" for years, as a result of my Catholic years, while I never faced abuse from any of the priests or nuns except your mild Catholic school happenings in a state where corporal punishment thankfully was outlawed--no being hit by rulers for me and the usual teachings to be absolutely deferential to clergy, I knew something was wrong from the system from the get-go, in one way, I was never a committed Catholic because even as a child, things just didn't add up for me. Catholicism is a cult no matter what Walter Martin said or left out. Fortunately I would get a Bible, start reading and had Christians preaching the gospel to me.

There are many other abusive churches, and organizations out there, where spiritual and other abuse, is happening. Even if its not a cult that forces you to put on the orange pajamas, and say the same mantra thousands of times a day, while sitting in a closet and where they will take all your money, there are other ways religious power and control can be abused and many of them will claim they are "Christian" and "biblical" as well.

One main stay of abusive cults and toxic churches is blind obedience to authority. I still think sometimes of that one fundamentalist church I visited locally here a few years back [remember the one that taught no one is to ever criticize the president and it'd be a sin to criticize Hillary too, if she made it in], I really knew something was wrong the minute I entered the room, at a Wednesday night service, the men were suited up in three piece suits, and the women in formal typical Sunday dresses fully coiffed. Some abusive and toxic leader rule with a heavy hand, that guy would be an example as I watched him yell at church members teens and adults, for "disobeying" him as the supposed "Lord's anointed". What made me sad and upset was seeing grown women and men cower before this person, but then I remember how much that people are taught that their pastors are "holy" and beyond reproach and his messages of blind obedience were strong. There are many churches of all kinds, where they have pastors like these, and they get away with it, because people instead of being taught to be born again and OBEY GOD rather then men,

Act 5:29 Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

are taught to fear men first rather then God.

Then there are the others where the pastor rule with a sweet smile, but people within that church learn fast that when they bring up some points, they will not be listened to, they will be rendered voiceless in a system, where the pastor rules totally. One church I visited for a Bible study and left after only a couple visits, the pastor's sheer charisma, was a definite lure, some may think this is odd for me to state, if your pastor is too charismatic, and I do not mean charismatic such as in speaking in tongues, but charismatic in terms of having the personality to lure people in and influence them strongly: [think Bill Clinton in the 1990s] then watch out, that can be trouble. This church's pastor was so charismatic, even I felt could see what was enticing people--he had the timing of a TV comedian mixed with the excellent speaking skills, but kept my senses about me. This is what is happening in a lot of these churches, a lot of these preachers are master salesmen, master speakers and they lure people in and gain in popularity. I have written about the CELEBRITY preachers before and how breaking people away from their net seems so utterly difficult. These are the one's with mega-charisma, that achieve notiriety.
I have visited some churches, where the pastor seems to slide on a river of oily crooked used car salesman ooze. Sorry if I sound so disappointed in pastors, I know there are some good ones out there, and they are only human, and I had a good one for some years, but some of what I have seen has NOT been good. Do any pastors read this blog? You do not have to tell me your name or church if you do. Probably writing the above may not endear me to the profession as a whole, but if any are, maybe a few of you wonder about the big picture too. Maybe you know something is really wrong. Maybe you are actually aware of the deep deceptions and how the luciferians have entered in.

Speaking of the pastors of today, and continuing the scattered sheep theme, here are more verses from Eze 34: This refers to the shepherds of Israel, but definitely there are parallels to today.

Eze 34:2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe [be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Eze 34:3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: [but] ye feed not the flock.

Eze 34:4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up [that which was] broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

Eze 34:5 And they were scattered, because [there is] no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

Eze 34:6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek [after them].

Notice where it says "but with force and cruelty, you have ruled them..."

That said, the pastors who are more covert in their dealings with people with a smile on his face, can be running just as toxic an operation as the guy who screams, yells and rules by fear instead.

More from the spiritual abuse link...
Agnes and John Lawless argue in The Drift into Deception that there are eight characteristics of spiritual abuse, and some of these clearly overlap with Enroth's criteria. They list the eight marks of spiritual abuse as comprising:
charisma and pride,
anger and intimidation,
greed and fraud,
immorality,
Enslaving authoritarian structure,
Exclusivity,
Demanding loyalty and honor,
New revelation.

Good list, except the "exclusivity" one is open to abuse via the ecumenical, the most important thing to remember is anyone of course who teaches more loyalty to THEM instead of God, that is a problem. The Pope would definitely be an example of that and those leaders who all proport to be "speaking for God" especially those who declare themselves "prophets", and apostles, who have "new revelation" to offer which is on the list above. The Bible can be abused and skewed and twisted, and it seems everyday, that someone has made up a new cult, adding their own crazy twist on the Bible, and usually declaring their utter over-weening total authority. Ever read one of those cult books where there are hundreds listed, those may cover other religions, but there are dozens of "Christian ones".

Ever notice most cults are not run as democracies? In other words you do not get to vote, and they are there to boss you around. There is no relationship with God that leads you but their list of rules, and edicts. I have noticed even some of the "control" pastors here locally even refusing or actively detracting from independent Bible studies within their own churches.

So how do we preach the gospel to those who have been hurt by cults, toxic churches or preachers?

Among un-believers, many are telling me they reject "Christianity" because they state, all religion is about power and control. I have even heard some who are more new world order aware and thinking types say that all religion is run by the elites and popes, priests and politicians, to control mankind. When looking at these Dominionists and even writing about their antics, and their previous less severe in the 1980s, sheer frothing at the mouth campaign for power, I even think of my UU days, and how I thought myself how "Christianity" seemed to be just about a "control matrix". My blessing came in reading God's Word, and realizing God stood against this stuff, and realizing the truth in freedom in Jesus Christ. I seek to try to impart that message with the gospel to many unbelievers I encounter, but it is not always easy, I have to pray a lot, and let the Holy Spirit do the leading of me and them. Some have listened, while others I have not been so fortunate. But one of the most important things with these folks, is to preach God's Word to them. God's Word will cut through the muck and what the world tells them. Here you can introduce things to them from the Bible that contradict what their false cult or controlling pastor taught them.

Rom 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

This means get God's Word to both their ears, and also get His actual Word in their hands. Start with tracts, but also get them a Bible to read. One can get cheap Bibles from thrift stores and elsewhere to mail or give to people.

There is a reason the Bible speaks of the what awaits the false preachers. It is because of all those led away from the truth, so the penalty will be even heavier.

Mat 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

One thing, I am encountering this more and more, due to the Taliban-like Dominionists, many unbelievers, are rejecting Christianity based on their example. It's tough. One thing you do not have to be afraid, to tell a non-believer of "sins" in the so called "Christian" camp if they ask about them or bring them up. Focus on God's Word first and getting the gospel to them but nothing is wrong about honest conversation. In fact many of these things you can answer with God's Word. Those concerned about Dominionists: I read them the verses, where Satan offered Jesus Christ, the kingdoms of this world, and how Jesus turned Him down.

I have gotten some unbelievers to listen, even admitting that some things they see as problems like the Dominionism, is A PROBLEM TO ME TOO. In fact with a few, this surprised them, but it also helped open up a few ears so they didn't just write you off as a cariacture of what they thought a Christian was. With the lady in Jehovah Witnesses, I plan to give her a book on my bookshelf full of verses that contradict the deceptions of Jehovah Witnesses, I pray she will read it. Giving information to people like this, is for the best, you want to give them good uncorrupted books and tracts that lay out God's Word, and confront the errors of whatever cult they are within. Once before in life, I was able to dissuade a family from joining the Mormon church, they were "nominal" Christians that the Mormon church had deceived into selling itself as "Christian" to them. Remember we are planting seeds.

Show them LOVE. I know some of the misguided will say oh yeah, "all that hippy-dippy stuff"...but we need to ignore all those who want to get "Christians" busy fighting culture war and for "dominion" and doing battle for the Pope, and actually go show some non-believers love and concern. If they have been beaten down by a cult or abused as a child by one, then you need to think of what they have dealt with. One thing that is scary is how some seem to scoff at LOVE, if that isn't a sign of the MEANNESS growing out there, I do not know what it is.

Jam 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

Showing love of course, never compromise truth, even I have to continually remind myself not to compromise any truth and to warn people and preach the gospel to them. There are times I have lost friends in warning people, and lost an online friend who got caught up in a New Age derived cult that called itself "Christian", when I warned her. Pray to God to direct your words. Sometimes I have worried about mistakes I've made with people, and we will not always succeed, those who come to Jesus Christ or heed His warnings will do so out of their free will, but remember this Bible verse.

Colossians 4:6

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

You want to show them and if you are coming from God's will this will be true, but that you have true love and concern for them rather then just "appearing" to seeking a number to add to a conversion list. Yes for the Christian getting them to heaven and born again, IS first on the list, but as a non-believer they will not see things the same way, they just do not understand yet. Pray to God to even help you to KNOW what to say. This is imperative especially for a hurting person.

There are so many false cults out there. I think of the sheer volumes of false religious organizations even ones under the "Christian flag" I've covered on this blog, not all are overtly abusive, but many out there are. More and more people are being victimized by them.
Christians need to confront how to deal with this growing problem. Share anything you have to on this. Have you witnessed to someone who came out of an abusive cult, or toxic church?

Herescope: Denying Dominionism

"Denying Dominionism"

Wanted to share this, as more and more are exposing the 7 mountain people and Dominionism, they are sending out more smokescreens to confuse the issue. I hate often how that phrase
"conspiracy theorist" is used, to shut down minds and thwart thinking.

Dominionism Conspiracy Theories

So who is doing the "spin" and denying Dominionism? An interesting mixture media and evangelical leaders. For example:

Pat Robertson: "What In Heaven's Name Is A Dominionist?"[8]

Joe Carter in First Things claims that the term was invented by "Berkeley-educated sociologist Sara Diamond, the author of several critiques of Christian civic engagement, including Spiritual Warfare: The Politics of the Christian Right" and asserts that the term is “never used outside liberal blogs and websites. No reputable scholars use the term for it is a meaningless neologism that Diamond concocted for her dissertation.”[9]

Lisa Miller writing for The Washington Post: “Dominionism” is the paranoid mot du jour. In its broadest sense, the term describes a Christian’s obligation to be active in the world, including in politics and government. More narrowly, some view it as Christian nationalism.... Extremist dominionists do exist, as theocrats who hope to transform our democracy into something that looks like ancient Israel, complete with stoning as punishment. But “it’s a pretty small world,” says Worthen, who studies these groups.... Certain journalists use “dominionist” the way some folks on Fox News use the word “sharia.” Its strangeness scares people. Without history or context, the word creates a siege mentality in which“we” need to guard against “them.”[10]

A. Larry Ross, who has been the chief P.R. guy for evangelical leaders like Rick Warren, commenting on Michelle Goldberg's August 14th post "A Christian Plot for Domination?": "Goldberg misapplies a broad label that few, if any, evangelicals use or with which they identify. It reveals more about the author’s personal perspective and lack of nuanced understanding of the topic than it provides useful information about the subjects themselves...."[11]

Michael Gerson, in another Washington Post article: "Dominionism, though possessing cosmic ambitions, is a movement that could fit in a phone booth.... In the case of Dominionism, paranoia is fed by a certain view of church-state relations — a deep discomfort with any religious influence in politics.... Thin charges of Dominionism are just another attempt to discredit opponents rather than answer them...."[12]
Ralph Reed: "The notion that Bachmann, Perry or other candidates secretly harbor "dominionist" theology is a conspiracy theory largely confined to university faculty lounges and MSNBC studios."[13]

Nancy Pearcey, associate of Chuck Colson: “Dominionist” is the new “fundamentalist” -- the preferred term of abuse, intended to arouse fear and contempt, and downgrade the status of targeted groups of people.... I had to Google the term to discover whether there really is such a group. Yes, there is a little-known group of Christians who claim the term, though they are typically called Reconstructionists. Apparently it was sociologist Sara Diamond who expanded Dominionism into a general term of abuse....Reductio ad absurdum.... Journalist Stanley Kurtz calls this usage of the term “conspiratorial nonsense,” “political paranoia,” and “guilt by association.”... The term is worldview.... For Kuyper and Dooyeweerd, this holistic concept of worldview did a nice job of capturing the creative impact that Christianity has had on Western culture through history, inspiring much of its art, literature, music, architecture, philosophy, and political thought.[14]

Jack Cafferty
of CNN: The Daily Beast reports that two of the Republican candidates for president - Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry - are "deeply associated" with a theocratic strain of Christian fundamentalism that's called Dominionism. For those of you who haven't heard of it before, and I was one who hadn't - stand by cause this is "out there."[15]

I found this odd article on Christian Post today:

"Are Evangelicals Seeking Dominion Over Government?"

It's all over the place, claiming loose connections, and more.

Hey the priest supports it...of course he would! [Rome behind the scenes is running this Dominionist show]

They want people to deny what is right in front of their faces. Power-hungry mongers who have said YES to Satan and his offer of the world's kingdoms!

Brian McLaren Joins With New Agers for "The Vision Project"

Anyone getting tired of all these "visions"? The majority are false.

This doesn't surprise me about Brian McLaren, he is already basically a "New Ager" or pseudo-UU, with just a slight "Christian" veneer.

Well check this out here:

Here are a few of McLaren's fellow travelers in The Vision Project:

Maurice Albertson, Founder, Village Earth, USA (Globalist)

T. Ariyaratne, Founder, Sarvodaya Shramadana, Sri Lanka (Buddhist)

Michael Dowd, Evolutionary Christianity, USA, The Earth Charter Initiative (A key Globalist/New World Order group)

Joseph Goldstein, Insight Meditation Society, USA (New Age Leader and Buddhist)

Barbara Marx Hubbard, Founder, The Foundation for Conscious Evolution, USA (Perhaps the most influential New Age author alive today!)

Michael Lerner, Tikkun, USA (New Ager and former guru to Hillary Clinton)

Sara McKechnie, President, Lucis Trust, USA (Originally named "The Lucifer Publishing Company," Lucis Trust was founded to be a publishing arm for the works of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, the infamous Russian telepathic spiritualist and medium, known as the god-mother of the modern occultic New Age Movement.)

Robert Muller, UN University for Peace, Costa Rica (One of the 20th century's most important Globalists)

David Steindl-Rast, Benedictine monk, USA

Heidi Rose Robbins, Astrologer and poet, USA
This isn't all of the participants in The Vision Project but I believe you get the idea.
Keep in mind: McLaren is continually referred to as an "evangelical." He is published by allegedly Christian publishers like Zondervan, and is sought after as a speaker, being regularly invited to address Christian churches, Bible colleges, and universities.

I went to the Vision Project website and saw some other big names they quote, Kofi Annan, Bono, The Earth Charter.

Look at the featured "vision" on this page by "David Steindl-Rast".

Odd I encountered this "urbanism" stuff the other day, [see it listed to the right] seems an old acquaintance supports it, and didn't know what it was. Sounds like the continuance of Agenda 21, wanting to herd all of humanity into tightly packed cities, think of every science fiction movie you ever saw where all the heroines and heroes live in soul-less controlled cities, this is what they want for you. I lived in one of the largest urban areas in America, and loathed it, it is for many like crowded rats in a cage, they even have discussed brain changes [this doesn't sound good] for those who live in tightly packed urban areas. and they basically say that stress, anxiety, and fear levels are far higher. So think about that one, the global elites, want you more packed together no matter how much quality of life it costs you. They sell the whole "green" living, and humanity as a "cancer" on the planet to sell and promote this stuff. When I was UU, the brainwashing was heavy for all this stuff, the "agendas" openly discussed even as far back as the 80s.

Dystopian nightmares from the "Vision elites" for the common man aka serfs.

They have Lucis Trust too in the mix as mentioned above.

By the way Dale McKechnie, Vice-president of Lucis Trust seems to be eagerly awaiting what Anne Lotz Graham is too with this whole "manifesting the kingdom of god" thing. He writes:

Religious teachings state that the goal currently set before humanity is to bring the Kingdom of God into manifestation; or in metaphysical terms, the kingdom of souls.

The President of Lucis Trust, Sarah McKechnie, is mentioned as well.

She writes:

"The hope and reassurance of the present times is the growing registration by the group of world servers of humanity’s inter-relationship, among all human beings and with all the kingdoms that share our planet. May this group awareness serve increasingly as a vision to guide humanity’s choices in the coming cycle."

Hmm it doesn't seem that McLaren's kingdom" is far off the Lucis Trust track here, of course Brian McLaren twists and lies about the words of Jesus...he writes:

We resist the domination and fear, I believe, by having a vision of something greater and more powerful and more real than the threats that so easily paralyze us in anxious cycles of reactivity. For me, that vision is evoked by some very old words from a familiar and frequently underestimated source.

“The kingdom of God is at hand,” Jesus said. “Rethink everything and believe this good news.”

This is, to me, the vision that our world needs. To believe in this vision is to make the beautiful whole absolute, and to relativize every other box (or human construction) in its presence. It truly is a call to “rethink everything.”

Remember at the core of all false teachings besides sun worship is the lie of the garden, "ye shall be as gods" and remember the whole TOWER OF BABEL story, as we can see that is what their "Visions" are all about. This is where the New Age and apostate 'christianity" merge together, desiring the new "kingdom" of this world: the kingdom of the antichrist, the altered "consciousness of man" and more. Even the Dominionists while they would discry McLaren hope for the same of what he and the New Agers desire. When one considers the Bible, never forget this verse...

Jhn 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

When I left the Catholic church, I knew the Popes were following the visions of Alice Bailey, well add in the apostate evangelicals who are jumping on the one world bandwagon as well. McLaren is a more obvious one of course.

I'll be frank, when I hear most of these apostate "Christian" leaders use the word "VISION", to me it is a red flag. Having a vision sent by God [Acts 18:9], is not the same as these people who wish to bring their version of reality into existence, and wish to behave as "gods" themselves.

See "The One World Religion: The Beast Gets Ready for Delusion".

LighthouseTrails: "Calvary Chapel Cosa Mesa Named in Child Sexual Abuse Lawsuit"

"Calvary Chapel Cosa Mesa Named in Child Sexual Abuse Lawsuit"

I'll let my readers see this one, I ran into articles talking about this, and even this one website Calvary Chapel Abuse

"In this story, you will learn that a Calvary Chapel youth worker who had a history of committing child molestation was allowed to remain working with youth at Calvary Chapel churches. Sadly, a number of Calvary Chapel pastors knew about the abuser’s history. The result was that at least four other boys were allegedly sexually abused. We strongly suspect that as this story unfolds others will come forward with their own stories. While we realize that sexual abuse of children happens within every denomination (not to mention the horrendous abuses within the Roman Catholic church covered up for years), the Calvary Chapel structure where the pastor is in full charge and where the whole movement is basically under the authority of one man makes it very susceptible to abuse and cover up as there is not a good accountability structure for pastors and youth pastors."

Roger Oakland also weighs in this article:

"After sharing with Roger Oakland our plans to post this article, we asked Roger if he would like to comment on this situation. He stated:

This is truly a heartbreaking situation. We are grieved and troubled that we even have to draw your attention to what is now being revealed to the body of Christ about what has been going on and even covered up by Christian leaders who many respect. The cause of Christ has certainly been damaged. Our prayer is that the sheep will have the wool removed from covering their eyes and will begin looking to Jesus. For the record, I am sad to say there is much more to come. So far, within the leadership of the movement, NO one has listened. Their only response is that I am crazy. I think it is a sad thing when the world has to expose the Church because there is no one in the church to do it."

Notice it was boys...just like the Roman Catholic church? This means men of homosexual leanings in their pedophilia. Keep in mind the sex scandals in Rome wasn't mostly young young children but homosexual men preying on young teenage boys. Even the John Jay report admitted 81% of the victims were male.

I remember when the sexual abuse scandals broke in 2002 in the RCC, and remember all the excuses that were made. One Catholic telling me, "The bishops know best", the years of excuses I saw even on message boards for churches where perversion reigned. Even if I hadn't discovered the false facts about the RCC religion, I would have left alone, over that deep of corruption within the leadership. What kind of people would allow someone like this to work with kids? I came to the conclusion within Rome, their seminarian brainwashing and forced "celibacy" served to break down normal human compassion and conscience. What is Calvary Chapel's problem? I guess when you run your leadership on the Moses model [aka Catholic total from the top obedience] this is what you get. This shows something is seriously wrong there.

Glenn Beck and Hagee in Israel

Glenn Beck, the masonic deceiver is getting around:

From the Fanatic For Jesus blog:

Glenn Beck Restoring Courage in Israel

"Beck’s web site said the program called for "unity among all faiths, and it will honor Israelis who have displayed courage in their struggle for survival and peace." It said the event would feature religious leaders, esteemed speakers and entertainers including the Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, author Dr. Mike Evans, Florida Pastor Tom Mullins, Pastor John Hagee, pseudo-historian David Barton, Oscar winning actor Jon Voight, internationally renowned singer Dudu Fisher, and the Jerusalem Great Synagogue Choir.[2]

Glenn Beck told nearly 3,000 enthusiastic listeners in the Caesarea Amphitheater on Sunday night, "The solutions to the problems of our times are not within the reach of political leaders, rather divinity." He went onto say, “Be not afraid. Know who He is, know His face, know that He is a God of covenants and miracles. We are leaving the age of man-made miracles of spacecraft, and we are entering the age of the miracles of God.”[3]"

Looks like Beck supports the third temple rebuilding too...

Wednesday's rally - the main event - was held next to the Old City of Jerusalem, which only drew a fraction of the attendees. In the opening prayer by Rabbi Shlomo quotes Scripture that supports the ownership of the Israeli land. He mentions the interfaith cooperation, and the Third Temple that will be built based upon Isaiah 56:7: “For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

It is interesting to note that the Third Temple is a radical and unbiblical fulfillment of a basic tenet of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, and other religions of the world, to manifest the One God on earth by worshiping the One God together in peace. The fulfillment of this Scripture was to take place during the Millennial reign, so they are speeding up the work of rebuilding.

This was a great paragraph to sum everything up [please read whole article at the Fanatic for Jesus blog link]

"Journalists in Jerusalem believed that Jews were chumps for supporting the efforts of Beck, but it is the evangelical Christians who should be compared to chumps. David Barton and the deep politics of God of the Council for National Policy say that globalization is merely a vehicle for the spread of Christianity - but the opposite is true. It will be to late by the time Beck's supporters wake up and realize they had helped to prepare the way for the tyrannical world dictator of the coming world government."

Here is Hagee's speech, where he says "God Bless Glenn Beck" [Hagee teaming up with a Mormon] and even more deceptions and lies...

Hagee states this...4:53; "The people of Israel are still the apple of God's eye, they are still the chosen people..."your enemies are our fight"

Now do not forget Hagee believes, that Jews are saved [now] under the first covenant and that Jews do not need Jesus for salvation. Talmudic Judaism that denies Jesus Christ is never on Hagee's radar. Hagee in my opinion is a betrayer of the Jewish people and everyone else, leading them away from the true gospel.

Don't forget Hagee said this:

"I'm not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith... In fact, trying to convert Jews is a 'waste of time. . Jews already have a covenant with God and that has never been replaced by Christianity." (Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec, 6, pg. 1).

One creepy moment is when he has everyone repeat "I am an Israeli" over and over......

Here is a verse someone should show Hagee.

Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

I am wondering why they chose Caesarea, for the place for all these speeches. May look into that, as it is a place that shows up in the Bible.

Earthquakes!

Luk 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

The other day after this all happened, with this old acquaintance, I started talking about how many earthquakes there had been, and how they were increasing massively in number, they weren't too happy with me. Sometimes it's too easy to underestimate the nonbeliever's spiritual blindness, even to what is going on around them, well it gave me an opportunity to witness and understand that this person had not been born again. Well the other day, we had two earthquakes, one in Colorado and another in Washington DC. The one in Washington DC, caused even evacuation of buildings. If one watches the news, earthquakes are growing in number, Peru just had one which was at the 7.0 scale. The Washington DC/VA earthquake, this earthquake was felt over a wide area, online, I saw people even in parts of the Midwest like Ohio, talking about having felt it!

There is a lot of theories out there, I'll let people ponder for themselves whether this was HAARP, HAARP wars, or a natural earthquake. I saw a few Internet folks pointing out that Japan, Colorado and the Mineral VA-Washington DC earthquakes were along the 37 parallel. Here was another theory, talked about on this blog as well as this person's video:

One thing I found weird was the almost same sized Colorado earthquake on the same day [if you know what is centered in Colorado and referred to as "the other Pentagon"] coinciding with an earthquake that happened in VA, near enough Washington DC to damage the Washington Monument, National Cathedral and forced evacuation of the Pentagon.

See:

"Is The Number Of Earthquakes Increasing? Why The 5.8 Virginia Earthquake Might Just Be A Preview Of Things To Come"

" The USGS continues to insist that the frequency of major earthquakes has been "fairly constant" and that there is no reason for alarm. But is that really the truth? In this article, you will be presented with evidence that the number of earthquakes is definitely increasing. Please approach the evidence with an open mind. The truth is that this year we are on pace to have more than twice the number of major earthquakes than we did just 10 years ago. The mainstream media is much more interested in keeping people calm than it is in telling them the truth. Our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and the magnitude-5.8 Virginia earthquake that we just witnessed might just be a preview of things to come"

Earthquakes nonetheless ARE increasing in number and doing so quickly as predicted in the Bible. I saw the USGS excuses for the increased number of earthquakes and didn't buy it either! Anyhow who is paying attention know their frequency has gone way up, no matter the rhetoric, that seeks to deny what people themselves, are seeing, hearing and remembering themselves.

If you are non-believer reading this, know that this was predicted in the Bible, God's Word is true, and repent and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today.

Anne Graham Lotz [Billy Graham's Daughter] Extreme Deception For the Elites

What better way to sell the global elites antichrist, one world government program then to state something like this:

“Within my lifetime, I have seen the fulfillment of every sign Jesus gave his disciples 2,000 years ago.

"Not only have I seen the signs but I have observed the local, national and global ‘birth pains’ increase in astonishing frequency and intensity.

"I am convinced that the kingdoms of this world are about to give birth to the kingdom of God.”

"Billy Graham's daughter sees signs of end times in world events"

Well I and others have exposed the truth about Billy Graham, it looks like his children are all following in his apostate footsteps.

Jesus Christ rejected the kingdoms of this world, Anne Graham Lotz believes his kingdom will come out of them. I suppose she is speaking on behalf of the Dominionists as well here too.

How much more wrong could you get? The sad thing is, because of the Graham 'brand' very few will point out this huge blasphemy against God's Word.

Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; Mat 4:9And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Mat 4:10Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Website: "Rethinking Vision Forum"

I found this website that exposes Vision Forum, sadly whose teachings are infiltrating elsewhere.

"Rethinking Vision Forum"

I definitely agree with some things they warn about:

"The Problem With Vision Forum"

"First, Vision Forum elevates the family to the position of an idol. Yes, the family is important, very important, but Jesus came to save people as individuals not family units. God forms relationships with people individually, not simply through their families. Jesus told his followers to follow him first and forsake all else. Jesus spoke of individual freedom and conscience, not group salvation.

Second, Vision Forum lays out a one size fits all “formula” for the perfect godly family. This leads to frustration for those who don’t fit the mold and can have the effect of stifling and smothering all those involved. Jesus did not call his followers to adhere to man made formulas, but rather to freedom in Christ. Formulas distract from trusting God and distract from diversity and individuality.

It is our contention that the “Biblical” principles laid out by Vision Forum are lists of man made rules that do not accurately reflect Jesus’ gospel of freedom and love. It is time to expose these teachings for what they are. We encourage you to look at the information on this site with open eyes and not be led astray by the legalism and false vision of godliness set forth by Vision Forum."

Why So Much Vatican and Evangelical Interest in Aliens? Setting Up for Deception

This video is from 2009 but was recently uploaded at this link, but I wanted to repost it.

I've written about the Nephilim before....but more and more have pondered the deceptions they are setting up with all this alien stuff foisted in front of people night and day....

With the video, the priest stresses "the possibility of something that could happen" and asks "What if we were to find life outside of the planet?" He goes on fruther to ask: "What does that tell us about the doctrine of original sin and Adam and Eve?, we have to allow science to lead us".One other comment he makes too, [I couldn't quite get a word] was....

"our understanding of **** truth needs updated" I am sure the Vatican is quite eager with that one!

The Vatican did have the conference about aliens... a couple years ago.

"Father Jose Funes, a Jesuit astronomer at the Vatican Observatory and one of the organisers of the conference, said: "As a multiplicity of creatures exists on Earth, so there could be other beings, also intelligent, created by God.

"This does not conflict with our faith, because we cannot put limits on the creative freedom of God."

Not everyone agrees. Paul Davies, a theoretical physicist and author of The Goldilocks Enigma, told The Washington Post that the threat to Christianity is "being downplayed" by Church leaders. He said: "I think the discovery of a second genesis would be of enormous spiritual significance."

Here is the report from the Vatican website, that came from that meeting....

Some interesting things to be seen in the report include some titles like "Searching for Multiple Origins for Life" and the list of "lectures" and the list of astro-biologists some who are connected with NASA. There is a representative from SETI listed as well on page 22 who went to the conference.

SETI is the "Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence" group. There is support from the Vatican for this group obviously if they are inviting it's representatives to it's conferences.

The head of the Vatican Observatory has said this...[translation to English]

Father Josè Gabriel Funes:
I believe that life can be developed in other planetary systems.
We think that the universe is composed from billions of galaxies and that every galaxy counts billions of stats. It is possible therefore that there are stars similar to our Sun and planets similar to our Earth. There are no evidences of the existence of alien forms of life, for now. But if there are extraterrestrial, for catholic theology it would not be a problem, also the ET are creatures of God. If ET existed, ET would be our brother. If Saint Francis (Saint Francesco of Assisi) talked to "brother wolf", we am not able not to talk to brother ET.

SETI even has "protocols" for "alien contact"...one of those protocols is that the United Nations would be involved.

One blogger
[I don't agree with his other teachings] writes about this here:

With everybody else from the Vatican to the United Nations, and Stephen Hawking jumping on the extra-terrestrial bandwagon, it is only natural that SETI ( Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence ) feel left out and they have recently updated their protocols concerning the expected conduct with regard to the search for alien life . I have transcribed the protocols below .

The main aspect of the document that caught my attention is that they will not respond to any signals without guidance from the United Nations . After the interesting claim that M Othman from the UN was to be an Ambassador for alien life, it seems that the United Nations is seeking a big role if contact is made

Yeah did you know the UN has an Ambassador for alien life? Yes I know sometimes truth is stranger then fiction...

Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian astrophysicist, is set to be tasked with co-ordinating humanity’s response if and when extraterrestrials make contact.

Aliens who landed on earth and asked: “Take me to your leader” would be directed to Mrs Othman.

She will set out the details of her proposed new role at a Royal Society conference in Buckinghamshire next week.

The 58-year-old is expected to tell delegates that the proposal has been prompted by the recent discovery of hundreds of planets orbiting other starts, which is thought to make the discovery of extraterrestrial life more probable than ever before.

Mrs Othman is currently head of the UN’s little known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa).

That office does exist....

see here too...

What an odd name, with her initial before it.. M. Othman, you get MOTHMAN. I know people do not choose their names, and this could be coincidence, but just wanted to mention that.

For those who don't know MOTHMAN, is well-known in paranormal circles, as an alien/demonic/cryptid creature.

So think about this: the Vatican and UN are preparing themselves for alien contact....and seemingly very focused on it.

Then there is the alien obsessed evangelicals....I have written about the Nephilim teachers in the original "Deceiving You With Aliens and Nephilim?" article. There is deep deception with this stuff, but I have noticed the "alien contact" theme being pushed in evangelical circles. Missler definitely is among them.Let's look at his website...[I ran a search for "aliens"] and there is a lot of articles, talking about the return of aliens and Nephilim.

As those who read my first Nephilim article know, I discussed how I do not believe in *biological* "alien" life, such as the Nephilim teachers advance. If any aliens show up in front of me [no, none have LOL] I'd be casting out demons in Jesus's name or wondering about other forms of deception like Project Blue Beam which I have talked about here. I believe they have already used holograms in an event that deceived millions, some may be able to guess which one I am talking about.

It's kind of scary seeing how much the 'alien" theme is promoted in evangelical circles. This stuff would almost be unbelievable 50 years ago, but here it is. Years of being prepped by demonic science fiction, Star Trek, etc, even evangelicals are OK with hopping on the UFO bus, and listening to "theologians" who tell them alien life is a reality and could be encountered on earth. Missler is a popular teacher within Calvary Chapel and his connections with Chuck Smith are well known. Check out this "evangelical" website...they want to get everyone ready for contact.... Missler is with this group.

So given the title of this group OFFICIAL DISCLOSURE, they want to "prepare" evangelicals. Well looks like the Vatican is doing the same thing.

There are other evangelicals who constantly stress the UFO/alien theme too..

and watch this, this stuff is all over..

Now ask yourself this, why is there this emphasis on a meeting or encounter or discovery of extraterrestrial life by the Vatican and these evangelical leaders? What false signs and wonders is this setting people up for? The well-known teachers who push this stuff, seem to be joined together with the Vatican deception. How is what they are pushing any different, except they do not stress so much "brotherhood" with the aliens? Do you not see how this deception could have millions of not billions [except for the elect] reject what the Bible says about mankind?

Mar 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible, even the elect.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church: Another Daughter of Rome

Turns out the Seventh Day Adventist Church is one of the fastest growing denominations out there.

"Adventists' back-to-basics faith is fastest growing U.S. church"

While I believe there are some well meaning and good people in the Seventh Day Adventist movement, and Bible prophecy books from SDA teachers, can be of historical and other interest to read, I got Uriah Heep on my shelf from 100 years ago [read with caution like you would any book from any false religionist], it is another false church and false "religion', and yes another "daughter".

The Seventh Day Adventist church does hold many false teachings. One of the worse is baptismal regeneration where baptism "saves" you among a wide array of false teachings. In fact one of the worse things to me about SDA, is the pseudo-'sacrament" and "church" based "salvation" that is so promoted, where instead of a relationship with Jesus Christ being first and foremost, they push rules, rituals and the "church" as being the center of salvation. Who else does that sound like?

To help us understand how God can transform us into His children, Jesus modeled the process of baptism for us. Baptism symbolized dying to self and coming alive in Jesus. Seventh-day Adventists practice full immersion baptism because by being fully buried beneath the water we symbolize that God's grace fully fills us with His new life for the future. Through baptism we are truly born again in Jesus

What troubles me is I have seen some people view this church as like a fundamentalist church and in some ways they appear to be so, with a strong interest in bible prophecy, close knit congregations and in some churches very caring people, but sadly their legalism can be as damaging as Rome's. I've met people who have encountered this legalism full force. In two towns, I've lived in they have made sent out very colorful brochures like this one, speaking of Bible prophecy, this can be a very good way, to draw people in the community who take such an interest in things.

Especially with all the dead evangelical churches out there that never touch prophecy with a ten-foot pole, you can see how this definitely would draw some folks in the door...

There was a few times, I had to inform nominal Christians, that church teaches false things! I even had other Christian "fundamentalist" friends attend SDA churches due to proximity and thinking this was another typical but very conservative Christian church who I ended up having to warn. One listened, another was not very happy with me.

It's not a "normal" Christian church, it has a Jezebel in the mix and her name was Ellen White:

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

By the way I've read many of her books before, this was when I was still in the Catholic church, and was reading a variety of evangelical materials this included her book "The Great Controversy" which you can take a look at here. The book seems to be a huge mix of extreme Bible prophecy but sadly with lots of subtle deception and not so subtle. One can tell how many Adventists ended up with that problem with date-setting. While some SDA people claim that Ellen White's writings are not equal to scripture and thusly do not break the commandment not to add to God's Word, definitely they are held with an elevated status within the SDA church. She IS seen as a Prophetess.

Here the SDA church website writes this about Ellen White:

We, the delegates to the 2010 General Conference Session in Atlanta, Georgia, acknowledge with gratitude the continuing contribution to the Seventh-day Adventist Church found in the writings and ministry of Ellen G White. We are witnesses to how the Church has been blessed and guided by God through the inspired counsel of His messenger. Her counsels exalt the Bible as the Word of God, lift up Jesus as Creator and Redeemer of the world, and encourage a life of service and sacrifice. Her ministry has directly aided in the preservation of unity in the Church and its expanding global outreach.

The gift of prophecy, like the other spiritual gifts, is to bring about unity, equip God's people for the work of ministry, build up the body of Christ, protect it from being deceived by false doctrine, and foster individual and collective spiritual growth (Ephesians 4:11-15). We recognize in Ellen G White the gift of prophecy, and affirm that as this gift is valued and its instruction heeded, the Church prospers.

Then there is the issue of the sabbath. I believe Saturday actually IS the more accurate day for the Jewish sabbath, but while sabbath keeping was important under the time of the law in the OT for the Jews, the New Testament says differently...

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:

I have even read SDA websites and materials, that claim going to church on Sunday, is the "mark of the beast" and suppose that would fall under "judgement". Here we end up with legalism married to Old Testament sabbath keeping.

There are many more false teachings then this, but realize many of the foundations of SDA rest on "law-keeping" even to their many very strongly suggested dietary restrictions which includes vegetarianism. Odd that, given Jesus Himself ate meat and would have eaten lamb even as part of the Passover supper in Luke 22.

A couple years I went and found out, something else about the SDA I found very interesting. I believe all cults are Rome bound, and Rome derived as we are warned of in the Bible, "mother of all abominations" all the way back to Mystery Babylon. One formula that has never failed is researching the links to Rome and thus to the United Nations and one world church, when it comes to cults. The thing about SDA that is so interesting is how they try to pull the wool over their member's eyes so deliberately. Realize I am talking about the main SDA church, they do have their off-shoot/dissenter churches [their own version of Trads] as well. They tell the people in the pews, the UN is the Beast, in many a church publication and even one of their more popular speakers warns about the UN [Veith is said to disagree with the ecumenism] but then behind the scenes maintain UN involvement.

See here too:

"A Statement on Religious Freedom

For more than a century Seventh-day Adventists have been active promoters of religious freedom. We recognize the need to champion freedom of conscience and religion as a fundamental human right, in harmony with the instruments of the United Nations."

This goes for Rome directly too by the way, I have seen SDA magazines for myself, that warn about the Marian apparitions being of the devil, but then finding out the role the main SDA church had with Rome was interesting, it centered around a man named Dr. Bert Beach who has been VERY involved with the Vatican, and even visited with the last Pope as exposed here, on a dissenting EX-SDA website.

Beach was even part of the Vatican II Council...

Dr. Bert Beach got his Assisi invite too, in 2002: [From "List Of Those Attending Assisi Peace Conference VATICAN, Jan 17, 02 (CWNews.com)]

"The Orthodox churches of the world will send 11 patriarchs to Assisi, led by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople. But no representative of the Moscow patriarchate is expected. About 50 Islamic leaders will attend, coming from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, the Philippines, and Jordan. And Jewish rabbis will come from Jerusalem, France, and the United States-- along with Elio Toaff, the former chief rabbi of Rome. Protestant bodies will be represented by Konrad Kaiser, the secretary-general of the World council of Churches; Anglican Bishop Richard Garrard of Rome; Setri Nyomi of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches; George Freeman of the World Methodist Council; Cecil Robeck of the Pentecostal church; Alvin Jackson of the Disciples of Christ; Theodor Angelou of the European Baptist Federation; and Bert Beach of the Seventh-Day Adventists."

Obviously this man had high standing in the SDA church for many years:

"World Church: Book of Essays, Dinner, Honor Retiring Church Statesman

June 21, 2005 Silver Spring, Maryland, United States .... [ANN Staff]

Paying tribute to decades of interfaith effort, friends and leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and others gathered at the church's world headquarters June 16 to honor Dr. Bert B. Beach, director of inter-church relations for the movement.

"Building Bridges of Faith and Freedom," a Festschrift, or celebratory publication, honoring Dr. Beach was released at the dinner. It is believed to be the first such tribute published by a world church department.

The book features essays on religious freedom and Dr. Beach's work in that area. Contributors include president of the United Nations' Human Rights Committee, Abdelfattah Amor; Cardinal Walter Kasper, president of the Vatican Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity; Rosa Maria Martinez de Codes, former vice director for religious affairs in Spain's Justice Ministry, and Rev. Sven Oppegaard, Assistant General Secretary for Ecumenical Affairs of the Lutheran World Federation, among others.

"I've had a wonderful life," Dr. Beach, who will end his five decades of service to the world church this year, said in response to tributes from Pastor Jan Paulsen, world president of the Adventist Church, Dr. Denton Lotz, general secretary of the Baptist World Alliance, and others.

"Bert B. Beach made a difference in the history of his church," Pastor Paulsen wrote in the book. "He pioneered interchurch relations. He helped his church to look beyond its own borders to the brother, the neighbor, the stranger who was also created by God."

Beach, who began his church career as an educator, rose to the position of executive secretary of the Adventist church's Western European and West African regions, before embarking on a 15-year career as director of public affairs and religious liberty and, recently, director of inter-church relations. Under his aegis, the Adventist Church has held high-level consultations with the Lutheran World Federation, The Salvation Army and other communities. He was, for 32 years, secretary of the Conference of Secretaries of the Christian World Communions, an interfaith body uniting 2 billion Christians around the globe.

"If today most of the Christian leaders recognized us as a Christian Church, it is the result of [Beach's] persistent and outstanding relations with other Christian leaders," added Dr. John Graz, public affairs and religious liberty director for the world church.

Beach's writings are mentioned in this lukewarm statement regarding ecumenism from the official [mainstream] SDA church.

The SDA in their magazine Liberty, if you ever see a copy, check it out, it constantly beats on the "religious freedom" drum but that is a term used by Rome as well...you can see how their events become an opportunity for far more ecumenism and very highbrow elite meetings. Could I be far off the mark, to see the SDA as just another typical new world order involved church?

The evening's 200-plus guests included members of the diplomatic community; the U.S. State Department; three members of Congress (Reps. Roscoe Bartlett [Maryland], Charles Rangel [New York], and Sheila Jackson-Lee [Texas], nongovernmental organizations; and religious leaders from a variety of faith communities.
During his welcome Elder Ted N. C. Wilson, president of the Seventh-day Adventist world church, reminded guests that religious liberty is part of the "DNA of the Adventist Church." He reaffirmed the church's longstanding commitment to promote such freedom for all people, no matter their faith tradition.

Three advocates of religious freedom were also honored at the dinner:
Norway's former bishop of Oslo Gunnar Stålsett received the International Award for his lifetime of efforts in promoting peace and reconciliation between people of different faith traditions.
Kit Bigelow, former external affairs director for the National Spiritual Assembly of Baha'is, received the National Award for her 25 years of human rights advocacy, both at the United Nations and in Washington.
Edwards Woods III, director of the Lake Region chapter of the North American Religious Liberty Association, received this year's A. T. Jones medal for his grassroots activism in building up religious liberty support across Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.

Toward the end of the evening, Knox Thames, director of policy and research at the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, gave a poignant tribute to the late Shahbaz Bhatti, a member of the Pakistani president's cabinet who was gunned down outside of his mother's home after speaking out against the country's controversial blasphemy laws. Thames was a personal friend of Bhatti's, and had helped him connect with Washington lawmakers during the Pakistani minister's recent trips to the nation's capital.

Hmm...interesting it mentions Bhatti, given he was named a Martyr by the Pope in my recent URI post. I do not know much about him or what happened to him, but it's interesting he was the focus of the Fr. Channan[URI] and Pope meeting in April.

Oh here is another article from Liberty magazine too, praise for the pope and odd paragraphs like this."The American Advent of Pope Benedict XVI"

"His trip is proof, too, that not only has there been a massive healing in the great Protestant- Catholic divide, but that many Protestants see the Papacy no longer as an enemy but, in many cases, as an ally in the numerous political/moral issues that mean a lot to them. This is a radical change, one that could have profound implications for the political future of this country.

In short, Pope Benedict XVI’s visit is another symbol of an amazing historical shift in American and Protestant attitudes toward a political-religious institution that for many years had been viewed as antithetical to all that Americanism and Protestantism stood for. Even more amazing is how Protestants themselves have been the most eager ones to reach across that gulf and embrace Rome. What that change means for American politics can be monumental in scope. History is being made; it’s just hard to see it as such when you are right there as it is taking place."

The SDA, just another daughter of Rome...[I pray the one's in the dissenting churches who see some truth, also realize the false system over-all that they have entered]

Update on the Vatican and the URI [United Religions Initiative]

Well I hope Lee Penn has changed his mind as the evidence has mounted that Rome does indeed support the URI, as I posted on this blog entry...

I think Lee Penn got it very wrong: [from his book "False Dawn"]

"Within the Catholic Church, opinion about URI is divided. Rome stands firm against it" [p 158]

By the way, I'll be sending a link of this update article to him as well, and sent the other one to him before....[didn't get any response when I sent him the first article]

Make sure to read my first article on the Vatican and URI, to get what I talk about here:

"The United Religions Initiative and the Vatican"

Benedict met with a URI trustee this April
and Father Channan who has held high level Vatican jobs still is working with the URI.

Top leaders in the Vatican are definitely still working with the URI

The Vatican supports all of the URI's goals, and obviously right on the URI website, are papers detailing even other interreligious events that Catholic Cardinals make a habit of attending.

The URI supports many interfaith groups, that have the full participation of high level Catholic clergy.

"Religions for Peace and Harmony is not only a motto or a slogan for people of good will on this earth against any conflict, hatred and violence, but it is a call to hasten such peace and harmony through action in our respective situations. The Centre for Inter-religious and Intercultural Dialogue (CIID), Department of World Religions and Culture, the University of
Dhaka, has been a dialogue partner with the Episcopal Commission for Christian Unity and Inter-religious Dialogue, Bangladesh Catholic Church (EC-CUIRD) for the past few years. These partners have worked together to enlighten younger generations from different faith communities in various levels at home and abroad, to learn about and to value each other’s beliefs.

An International Seminar on “Religions for Peace and Harmony” was jointly organized by CIID and EC-CUIRD on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Senate Bhavan Auditorium of the University of Dhaka. His Eminence Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, the President of the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue (PCID) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest."

Back to Father Channan..... Is he a "rebel" priest censored by Rome for his involvement in URI?

Nope to the contrary...
