The Worst "Christian" Advice I've Ever Seen: Michael and Debi Pearl

"Lazy Husband, Hungry Kids and Hopeful Wives"

Remember when I talked about the Quiverful/Vision Forum movement and Patriarchy movements keeping women perpetual children? These are women told by the false teachers in these movements to blindly obey men. Satan would love for half of the Christians out there in the world to become helpless and ineffectual. That is what blind obedience brings, whether it is a man that follows a cult leader blindly or a woman being told she must blindly obey a husband and not act in an adult capacity to try and take care of her own children.

In the letter, a woman is married to unsaved man who refuses to work: he is sleeping and lazing about and they have children. He is says he is on a work at home adventure or really what looks like a work at home lay-about, but no real income is coming in whatsoever, where they are facing eviction and she is asking for advice about what to do. There are people who do have to work from home or do freelance in this economy, so that is not a bad thing but the article's odd emphasis on the wife standing by and doing "nothing" as the husband leads the family into poverty and the homeless shelter is not good advice whatsoever!

Pearl has supposedly distanced himself from aspects of the patriarchy movement, but many of its beliefs are seen in this article. The odd calling of an unsaved person as being "visionary" by the lady who wrote the letter speaks for itself! Here one can see the "blind submission" teachings as presented by Debi Pearl. Note the Command Man, Visionary Man, and Steady Man, it is all very strange.

Back to the letter and the Pearls response to it. This idea that this lady can't even speak up for her and her children's future or act in behalf for it, to even protect the children is nonsense:

Clearly God meant for every man to work and provide for his household. So you and God are agreed, but that doesn’t mean your husband is going to jump up and get a job just because you tell him what God has said. So, what is a wife supposed to do? Basically nothing—nothing in word and nothing in deed. Just stay cheerful and loving. Your situation is better than most, for you have parents who, while not pushy, are willing to help. First, thank God for that wonderful mercy.

The advice to run back home and let her parents support them while many grandparents are happy to help their grandchildren and grown daughters' to lay such a burden on one's parents in passivity and learned helplessness doesn't seem much of an answer. In this case, this mother is to be relegated as an unthinking, un-acting person in the background. This particular lady has parents who are involved in her life, who live near by, but what about someone who does not, where both parents may be poor themselves on a fixed income, or in a nursing home unable to offer help?

That said, if this lady was in a decent church, they would be helping to feed her and her family, she would not be wholly dependent on the mercy of her parents. The scripture doesn't add up either. They speak of a lady [Abigail] who takes action, instead of their advice here which is for her to sit back. The idea of "respectful disobedience" seems absurd here too. They give that as an "out clause", I suppose to keep the children from being taken away by social workers in a homeless shelter because their parents can no longer take care of them. By the way that is happening, so their advice in today's economy and world, is even worse. If Poverty is bad enough, children can be taken away under state "neglect laws":

"But, as NCCPR goes on to argue, many child protection laws virtually define poverty as neglect. In Illinois, for example, it’s failure to provide “care necessary for [a child's] well-being.” Here in the District of Columbia, negligent treatment is “failure to provide adequate food, clothing, shelter, or medical care.”

What are the Pearls telling this woman but to stay a perpetual child, to run home to her parents, and not even try to look out for her children's welfare? This is one place where one sees the whole blind obedience thing taken way too far. The idea she is to stand by in silence is nonsense, when it is her children's well being at stake.

One thing the Bible does not say be silent in the face of evil. There are times when Christian men AND women need to stand up. She should be finding out if her husband has some type of emotional or physical illness precluding working. If he is choosing to give up, on supporting his family and is choosing not to work that is a problem too. This bad economy can put a lot of men under severe pressures too. But their answer stay passive and sit by silently as things implode is nonsense. Yes prayer is important but God often directs us to take action as well. Sitting by silently while your own children very well will go hungry is total nonsense. The Lord will provide for Christians, but this is not based on following false teachings of men. This type of advice opens women up to even more problems and exploitation by the wicked.

I hope in this case, her parents are merciful and help her out. But passivity is not the answer here, following God's direction and looking out for her children is. By the way where is the church in this mess? A decent one would be helping this family and extorting the husband to start supporting his family. This sort of advice shows where unthinking obedience and patriarchy beliefs have led to a horrible place where submission to the husband comes first before even a mother's natural conscience driven drive to protect her own children! This is reinvented false "Christian" "Taliban" teachings.

There is a lot about Michael Pearl's website that is disturbing, and it goes along with the bad advice. I first saw his website a couple years ago before I had ever read anything about it, and the whole place gave me an "uneasy feeling". I do not agree with their child training methods, and other odd exercises. Some of these articles referred to are not written by the Pearls but are posted on their website. Here is one with the odd acronym of ESP. This one about "You've Got Worms" is also kind of odd since it recommends the intake of the herb wormwood--which can be very dangerous! By the way they have the DO NOT TAKE while pregnant warnings because wormwood is a drug that has been used for a medicinal abortificant [a drug that induces abortion]. This is an extreme one to suggest for people to use! I also find myself thinking isn't Absinthe made out of wormwood? You know the beverage 19th century bohemians used to drink where they had hallucinations? The child training stuff is weird too, it seems all focused on breaking the child's will, rather then teaching them right from wrong and having them develop a conscience and helping to lead them to God. This one disturbed me as a 4 year old is already pegged a "rebel" for life. "We are seeing the heart of a rebel.... She wants to do the opposite because that is who she has decided to be". Maybe for a 17 year old but a 4 year old? Maybe it has to do with the constant spanking and inattention? The article gets even more disturbing:
"And when you do spank, make sure that it is forceful enough to get her undivided attention. If she can scream "huggie" while you are spanking her, you are probably not spanking hard enough."
And further along: "Do not answer any more questions, and do not respond except with a switch, in the event she breaks any of the rules." I'll let my readers check this out for themselves. It is very scary. I guess when life is all about extreme submission to authority, four years old isn't too early to start and includes putting an intercom in the child's room for even more "control". Other Christians have exposed the occult markings on the site and elsewhere. All I know is reading through that website, with even just a short glance, it was obvious the spirit of it was all wrong. Please beware.

The gist of all this? Christians need to stop listening to "experts" just because they know some Bible verses, if even the basics of love, compassion and good sense are missing, that should tell you they are NOT giving you Godly advice!

"Calvary Chapel's Logo--Occult Significance?"

I've been wanting to link to this one for a while, its from some time ago but it explores the Calvary Chapel "Diving Dove": "Calvary Chapel's Logo-Occult Significance?"

Look again at the Calvary Chapel logo--is this a sneaky, subtly disguised depiction of an 'attacking' owl....with the tail of the dove now having become the 'ears' of the owl?

I remember the Alberto Rivera comic where he warned that the Jesuits use the dove as a symbol of an infiltrated church.

Emergents Remind Me of Unitarian Universalists #2

Continuation of this blog essay: "Emergents Remind Me of Unitarian Universalists". This one sounds just like a sermon a UU minister made. Here is Rob Bell stumping basically for the same universalism, I heard preached on in the UU church. One thing many of those who reject the gospel, use hell to do so. "What kind of loving God would send anyone to hell?". Such folks do not understand the perfection of God or even why Jesus came to save us sinners. Rob Bell may as well join the Unitarian Universalist association with this one:

LOVE WINS. from Rob Bell on Vimeo.

I got this video from Apprising Ministries, which has far more written about Rob Bell's universalism as well as mystical teachings.

Hell is real even if false preachers like Rob Bell try to tell people no one or very few will go there. This blog has more details, and I agree with them, all these Emergent lies are on the same road to Rome.

The Destruction of Our Food #2:

Read this article for context: "The Destruction of Our Food: GMOs and Terminator Seeds". Well here is the latest!

"Scientists are warning of a link between a dangerous new pathogen and Monsanto's Roundup."

This has hit the mainstream news too [from Reuters]

A plant pathologist experienced in protecting against biological warfare recently warned the USDA of a new, self-replicating, micro-fungal virus-sized organism which may be causing spontaneous abortions in livestock, sudden death syndrome in Monsanto’s Roundup Ready soy, and wilt in Monsanto’s RR corn.

Dr. Don M. Huber, who coordinates the Emergent Diseases and Pathogens committee of the American Phytopathological Society, as part of the USDA
National Plant Disease Recovery System, warned Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack that this pathogen threatens the US food and feed supply and can lead to the collapse of the US corn and soy export markets. Likewise, deregulation of GE alfalfa “could be a calamity,” he noted in his letter....

Read about how this Roundup system was designed, no tilling of the soil, it gets pretty weird.

Skewed Evangelical Priorities

OK its from Christianity Today, "Polling Evangelicals: Cut Aid to World's Poor, Unemployed" so take with a grain of salt. I can understand the not being eager for endless foreign aid and global elite wealth clean out programs where the poor barely ever see a dime in this economy but the harshness shown towards the American unemployed, the support for "law and order"--[police state?] when this country already imprisons far more of its population then any other, the support for wars [the sad thing is the Christians who have figured out the real deal with the endless overseas wars that have bankrupted this nation, seem to be few in number.] I certainly do not agree with Wallis on everything, but the whole thing shows me that a lot of evangelicals sure are listening to false preachers and politicians more then reading their bibles.

Marian Apparitions:The Devil's Deception

Here is a basic point for this article, I do NOT believe the being showing up in Marian apparitions is actually "Mary" but a fallen angel or other demonic spirit here to deceive.

Here is a good video that describes how scripture shows these apparitions to be false:

One thing that helped wake me up and get me out of the Catholic church was reading the Bible and books from the Catholic church library on Marian apparitions at the same time. Fatima, Guadalupe,Lourdes, Knock, I examined them all and started seeing how things did not add up!. To be frank, "Mary" creeped me out, even her willingness to show poor little kids, visions of hell to traumatize them forever told me this wasn't anyone who was nice! The constant appeals to "suffering" for your own salvation and more told me, these events were not holy. In Catholic school as a child, I had this one teacher who loved Fatima, and made constant pilgrimages there. "Mary" seemed to be who she followed rather then Jesus.

One Vatican approved apparition is Our Lady of Fatima, and one of the most widely known ones where "Mary" showed up to three children in Portugal and gave them messages. It was interesting to note the figure calling itself "Mary" showing up at Fatima told the three children:

"Only I can help you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God."

Sometimes this is translated too as "Only I can save you"

Consider how much in opposition this is to the gospel!.

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Sorry but everything this "Mary" figure makes up sounds like something Satan would definitely make up. Do not forget Satan's assertion in Isaiah 14:14 "I will be like the most High."

There is even more contradictions against scripture.

"Mary" of Fatima states:

"Here you see hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart... Pray, pray a great deal and make sacrifices for sinners. So many souls go to hell because there is no one to pray and sacrifice for them.”

What God says:

Hbr 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Definite discrepancies there. Even the line about saving souls from hell? Well think that one out, how is someone saved who is already in hell?

This was a definite "angel of light" to deceive!

There are many websites on line that expose the anti scriptural assertions of this demonic figure like this one:

"I boldly assert that His suffering became my suffering, because His heart was mine. And just as Adam and Eve sold the world for an apple, so in a certain sense my Son and I redeemed the world with one heart".

I recommend this book for all to read:

The Marian Apparitions' Plan calls for this "miracle" to unite all religions under the umbrella of the Roman Catholic Church! These Marian Apparitions are REAL -- they are demons masquerading as the Virgin Mary so men and women the world over will worship her rather than Jesus

But, most insidiously, demons are masquerading in other major world religions, appearing as apparitions of the primary Goddess of that religion -- from Hinduism to Buddhism. Therefore, the Marian Apparitions are appealing to Hindus and Buddhists, thus uniting these religions under Rome.

The authors of this critically important book ask these questions: 1) Who is the "Queen" of Revelation 18? 2) Who is the "Lady of Kingdoms" referred to in Isaiah 47:5? You may be shocked to realize that the Catholic Virgin Mary is just a reincarnation of this Chaldean "Lady of Kingdoms". It is time to uncover this mystery, expose the identity and agenda of the "Queen", and realize her prophetic place in Scripture.

140 pages, paperback"

The authors are correct, this "Mary" figure actually is drawing in all religions who look to a "goddess" figure: this includes Buddhists, Hindus and even according to this report Muslims.

"In an unexpected twist of globalization, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims and other pilgrims regularly
worship at famous Roman Catholic shrines to the Virgin Mary such as Lourdes in France and Fatima in Portugal. They drink the holy water, light votive candles and pray fervently to the Madonna for help with life's hardships. Many venerate her like one of their own goddesses, a view that would be a heresy if a Catholic theologian tried to defend it.

"Rather than turned away, the newcomers are
free to join the crowds from Ireland, Italy, Spain, and other traditionally Catholic countries who flock to Europe's most popular shrines."

What is sad is many evangelicals who should biblically know better, are being led back to the false Catholic version of Mary.

For those who think God would send someone back from the dead to pass out warnings [of course some of these apparitions are supernatural while others are based on pure charlatanry] Luke 16:25-31 clears that up

25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

The sad thing is so many are deceived, and there are new "Marian apparitions" still popping up all over. The Vatican even keeps "approving" even older ones of these even with this one in Wisconsin..

From Lighthouse Trails: Interfaith Tony Blair To Speak at Saddleback on Rick Warren's P.E.A.C.E. Plan

Interfaith Tony Blair to Speak at Saddleback on Rick Warren’s P.E.A.C.E. Plan

“Rick Warren to Interview Tony Blair at Saddleback Church”
by Katherine Phan
Christian Post

Megachurch pastor Rick Warren will speak to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Egypt and peace in a globalized economy next month at Saddleback Church.

Blair is “very excited” about being a guest lecturer at the seventh Saddleback Civil Forum to be held March 6, said the California megachurch pastor on Sunday.

“We’re going to take five letters of the Global PEACE Plan and the five global giants and talk about spiritual emptiness, corrupt leadership, extreme poverty, pandemic diseases, and illiteracy and education. These are the five problems the PEACE Plan is designed to [address],” Warren told his congregation

No surprises there, a political mover and shaker meeting up with Rick Warren's false church and his antichrist peace plan. What is interesting is do not forget Tony Blair's conversion to the Catholic church or his overt announcements on working for the new world order!:

"This is a moment to seize. The kaleidoscope has been shaken, the pieces are in flux, soon they will settle again. Before they do, let us re-order this world around us."

Tony Blair, Tuesday, 2 October, 2001

Here is an older article on "Rick Warren, Tony Blair and the Vatican Agenda" from Lighthouse Trails as well.

Worldwide Turmoil: What Does it All Mean?

Revelation 13:7: And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

The bible predicts a worldwide governmental system and religion. For years, people have mocked those who have warned of world government crying out the 1984 "thought criminal" mantra [well the actual phrase is "conspiracy theorist"]. For those who are watching the turmoil across the globe, it is happening for a reason in the Middle East and elsewhere. Controlled food shortages and more are leading to protests in even some new places like India. We have watched the uprisings in Egypt, Libya's, Greece's and others are just getting started. Some are already discussing the effects this will have on the price of oil and elsewhere I saw someone theorizing gas could hit $5 dollars a gallon if not higher. The world powers are printing money like crazy. Could the rapid devaluement of all world currencies, be with the end goal of a world currency? From "The Economic Collapse"blog:

"It means that some tremendous imbalances are being built up in the global financial system. The central banks of the world must continue to inflate these bubbles with constantly increasing amounts of paper money and debt in order to keep the game going. If at some point the reckless money printing comes to a screeching halt it is going to unleash hell on global financial markets.

But if all of this reckless money printing continues we are eventually going to see horrific inflation all over the planet. In fact, we are already seeing significant inflation happening in many areas of the globe. Almost every single day a new headline about inflation in China seems to pop up in the financial news. Rising food prices are sparking unrest in the Middle East and elsewhere. Even U.S. consumers are starting to see some uncomfortable price increases at the gas pump and in the supermarket."

And yes in America, we are seeing some of the signs of possible trouble to come, the union protests in Wisconsin, where the "solution" given is to end all collective bargaining in that state, yes the unions did become corrupt, but that definitely leads workers to have no more rights. What is the core problem? The states are broke. Our economy sinks down and down, as the media assures Americans there is a recovery in sight which does not really represent reality.

Never forget the "order out of chaos" formula. What will be given as the solution to all this? It is interesting to think about. What is the end road to all this global turmoil and economic ruin? The Bible definitely tells us that bad times are coming to this world and points to a world government holding immense power on behalf of the antichrist. When one hears the "globalist rhetoric" like this from Obama "It is imperative that the nations and peoples of the world speak with one voice,", times have become very interesting indeed.

These things have been planned for a very long time. Read some quotes like this:

"In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all." Strobe Talbot, President Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State, as quoted in Time, July 20th, 1992."

and more here.

See where it is all going?

Two Sides of the Same Evil Coin: Radical Feminism Vs. The Patriarchy Movement

One way the powers that be often work in this world is presenting two conflicting sides, that are no real solution but more oppression while the proverbial truth falls through the middle. Thus, the subject of this blog entry, maybe a bit far reaching but something that has been on my mind. Years ago even before I became a Christian, I realized radical feminism was a scam. After salvation, its satanic roots would come to light. Years ago, I and my friends were talking of the two-for-one deal the corporations got where now they got two workers working for the price of one, and wish it were the days where one income could support a family.

We have seen an erosion of social connections, family time, and the children have suffered, while to be blunt, the women have been overworked with the "two shift never rest" life. Working women with children today are perpetually exhausted? Why? Well there are only so many hours in a day.

Yes, there are women especially of lower socioeconomic classes who have always had to work, whether as a maid or cook, and single and widowed women who had to work by necessity. I am glad that more fields are open to women, and they can follow their pursuits out of the "pink collar" world, but feminism was not what it was cracked up to be in all facets. Equal pay, inheritance, property rights, protection from abuse, representation in court were some good developments even started in the 19th century to bring women up to a better standing but somewhere along the way, things fell off the track, radical feminism sold on behalf of the global elites, the whole "you can have it all" lie.

Women were shown pictures of high power feminists with jobs that brought them "empowerment" when in reality to work those sort of jobs, require a 60 plus hour a week commitment. Reading Ms. magazine, working class women need not apply, I felt it was written for women of only a certain socio-economic level where "work" meant fancy suits, interesting lunches, huge expense accounts and wonderful conversation to go with all that "power". Some women find their way into that kind of life, but it is not the majority who are out doing cashier work, cleaning, factory work, or -- ironically -- taking care of other kids who aren't your own for pay! The claims of "power" are dubious and were used to actually control women even more.

There have been many Christians I agree with who have exposed the total evil of feminism that include the murders of abortion. Why mince words: millions of lives have been ended where money and economics were to take precedent even over human lives, erosion of family life, decline of morality and debasement of women--maybe in old school feminism objectification of the female figure was cried against, but that is gone, in it's so called third wave or younger feminism where debauchery is glorified on shows like Sex and the City.

Look at this picture, and think to yourself, does she really "love women" when she stands up for abortion with her disgusting T-shirt that admits her unrepentant sin?...[50% of those babies being killed are very young women] The "Illuminati" pyramid hand sign is not by accident either:

She sure loves that hand position!:

For those of us raised in Generation X, the women's lib generation had a few good ideas with desiring women to be able to work different careers or meet each other halfway, but the truth of the reality hit home hard. One thing with social movements many are created, co-opted and used by the elites who now can direct and programme entire populations.

Raised as feminists, told that any vulnerability was to be squelched, led to work like a dog lifestyles where career was to come first and we were all supposed to move thousands and hundreds of miles away from our home towns, many of my college friends twenty-five years hence, we commiserated about feminism with hands held up in front of our mouths knowing our viewpoints didn't fit the politically correct mantras around us, keeping these conversations private rather then public, saying "we felt lied to." Many of us even admitted we wish we have had a more old-fashioned life, where the focus would have been on forming roots, a family and relationships instead of careers, which now seem to just take and never give, especially in this economy. In other words, a job is just a job, and today company loyalty is nil, meaning a company lay-off from out of the blue means it can be all wiped away. Years spent moving around the country, for the career, studies, or even just mere survival nowadays, one can easily wake up, unknown in yet another new city, you moved to- to "make a living", and if no family or husband has been obtained, the pain can be quite acute.

I often befriend ladies who are far older then me. In my old small rural town, I had lots of elderly friends who say the last two generations of their daughters and grandchildren had it far worse. They say, "Where is your time? Everything is rush, rush, rush." They told me when we were young we had far more times for our families and each other. Going for a cup of coffee with a friend even if they worked part time was far more doable. There was even this article from some years ago: "Desperate to be housewives, young women yearn for 1950s role as stay-at home mums". This was an English article, but the same feelings were being heard in America.

Margi Conklin, editor of New Woman, said: "There has been a fundamental shift in young women's attitudes towards life and work. They've watched their own mothers trying and often failing to 'have it all' and have decided they don't want it all. They don't want to work crazy hours while their children are put into nurseries and their relationships disintegrate under the strain."

Some revealing studies have come out, speaking of feminism as a failure, asking why are there so many unhappy women?

In a recent presentation at a meeting of the American Law and Economics Association, Betsey Stevenson and Justin Wolfers of the University of Pennsylvania outlined what they called the new paradox of declining female happiness. After noting that by most objective measures, “the lives of women in the United States have improved over the past 35 years,” they showed that, nonetheless, “measures of subjective well-being indicate that women’s happiness has declined both absolutely and relative to men.”

Obviously there are some unhappy women out there.

But here's the deal, when I was writing the Quiverful/Duggar article and examining all the Vision Forum, stuff, it seemed interesting, like a BACK to the PAST- BACKLASH. Where mythic views of the past were supposed to provide answers, to women's [and men's and the over all family's troubled lives]. Are these movements swimming to the other extreme? As a response to the radical feminism, wanting to reclaim the past? To escape lives that have become unbalanced? Does this mean they are necessarily scriptural? No it does not. Being in opposition to radical feminism and it's ungodly ways, does not mean a group has all the answers. In other words, evil can come from two different directions. Here we can see where the focus on the culture wars, is setting a new trap for Christian women.

Christians know radical feminism is wicked. Battling it out with men is a carnal way of life focusing on the feminist "power struggle", but what about total unthinking blind submission to men? It is carnal too. Men biblically are the leaders of the family but this does not render women slaves. Evil is to be stood against lest it be enabled and God's commandments and leading trumps any man's demands or edicts that are wicked. One extreme to the OTHER rendering the woman in this case even more oppressed then before, where repression comes from a different direction, where overweening loyalty to career and self-improvement a la the Oprah generation is transferred into something more insidious.

For years one heard from the feminist movement; "Down with Patriarchy!" even in New Age spirituality and other feminist theology, the "patriarchy" or assumed dominance of society by men was to be dismantled.

By the late 80s, I was immersed into this type of thinking as I entered the Unitarian Universalist church, reading Naomi Goldberg's book "The Changing of the Gods" where "God" was redefined and "goddess worship" spiritually advanced, cries for the patriarchy to be dismantled. I was further indoctrinated via a women's study professor whose frequent subjects for papers involved comparing your personality to your favorite chosen "goddess". Thank God many women are saved out of even those false lies, on this blog, I talked about my own salvation from Satan's lies.

But now the New world order influenced fallen away "Christian" churches are telling women "Up With Patriarchy?" in response?

There is indeed a trend now in the churches called the patriarchy movement. Honestly finding out about this, I have been shocked, it is like the Taliban has come to America, in a pseudo-Christian form. Honestly as I have already discussed the Duggars, Quiverful Movement, Vision Forum, Stay At Home Daughters--where adult women are kept home under the authority of their fathers, are all branches of this rotten Dominionist tree. One thing I am discovering is there are many other groups now promoting these "women submit" solutions too. When I was young and UU, I read "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood, it was a book where the state [working with religion] totally controlled women who were submissive to men--they basically lived like women in extreme Islam live today, but even more controlled, and subjugated by men living basically as slaves, there for their pleasure only and control. While I realized this book advanced many liberal radical feminist answers I did not agree with such as advancing abortion via the lie called "choice" by its extreme scenario, watching this patriarchy stuff, it's like seeing this insane fiction come into reality.

Women in the patriarchy movement are to obey husbands without question, where marriage is to become a dance of tyranny, rather then a husband who loves his wife more then his own body. Women's worth is solely in motherhood, a valuable position of course, but idolized in this movement. Women are even told to avoid personal friendships in some of these circles, and that they are not to talk in the presence of men unless invited to do so.

"Kathryn Joyce, who wrote Quiverfull: Inside the Christian Patriarchy Movement, explains that women in biblical patriarchy are supposed to ask their husbands about every detail of household management (which is their sole calling), remain silent in church, are discouraged from speaking in the company of men, and are typically considered at fault for marital difficulties, all of which stem from their lack of submission. "

Everything is about gender, and about putting women in their "place" via control and severe positions. I've been told even writing this blog, by some extreme Christian patriarchy types, is a sin against God, because I am female. According to folks like this my only role is to post on knitting and babies, but different people are called to different things. God has a place for mothers and his other Christian daughters too. Whatever happened to this Bible verse?

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

According to the Patriarchy people, Priscilla would have been forced to stay home.

One thing Ive noted writing the other Quiverful/Duggar/Vision Forum article, they are selling a new "lifestyle" to women, very modern marketing, selling a "Vision" [a la Vision Forum?], One Christian blogger describes it thusly:

"I saw pictures of women dressed in beautiful Victorian garb. Of young families with their children and I wanted that. It looked so pretty. So happy."

I too read the blogs with the wonderful gardens displayed, happy children, huge homes, and this emphasis on almost a "Christian" Martha Stewart ethos, where a perfect homelife was promised as long as you "kept sweet", submissive and blindly obeyed husband and pastor or father for life if you remained unmarried remaining a child for life. What does this do for men when women give up everything for them to manage?

What is interesting is this "vision" goes totally against the life of the woman shown in Proverbs 31, she isn't hidden in the house, barred from society like a Saudi Arabian woman squirreled away unable to leave home without a male escort, in this case, her huband is depending on her and trusting in her. She is in the market place selling things, and one would imagine actually "talking" to people. She is "working" and not a sinner in doing so, in providing for her family. Notice even in verse 16 she makes a real estate transaction!

Proverbs 31:
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

That said while here, the Proverbs woman, does attend to her husband, home and family, this idea of repressed blindly submissive women is NOT biblical. The Proverbs woman helps to provide for her family and is strong, not weak! One thing there is such a thing as balance in life. The pendelum swinging from extreme power struggles between men and women, overwork and rejection of family life and godly principles back to this patriarchy nonsense is the work of Satan.

Obviously one can see the appeal on the surface, but the reality does not match what this stuff really means or what is being "sold" to Christian women as the opposite of the radical feminism that has so negatively impacted their lives. In other words, the "new answers" are no answers at all, but just more oppression on women, where gender supercedes everything else including the preaching of the gospel.

There are some Christians who are concerned out there, and warning about this stuff. Here is one group,

"At a time in our church history that the main focus should be on winning lost souls and spreading the gospel to a hurting world, we fear for the future because the Council on Biblical Manhood and Biblical Womanhood has placed a greater priority on women's submissive role rather than on the gospel of Jesus
Christ."

While I need to learn more about this particular group, they definitely are right about that! They warn about how all the focus on patriarchial authority is another version of "priestcraft" and I totally agree. Anytime a false teacher says someone stands in authority over you, and intercessing for you that is just a mere man, instead of Jesus Christ Himself that is a problem.

What very interesting too is the false doctrine that is exposed called Subordinationism, which is taught by many of these patriarchy groups, this essentially means that the Holy Spirit and Jesus [as part of the trinity-godhead] are subordinate to God the Father instead of being "equals" who are interrelational and "one". After all if you are going to teach that women and even adult male "children" must submit to older male fathers, changes to the theology backing all this nonsense up are forthcoming. They are essentially making two members of the trinity less "powerful" which is blasphemy beyond belief.

There seems to be many front groups for the patriarchy movement The Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood is one of them. Why the focus on genders? It is a bit disturbing. Lots of big names from Piper to R Albert Mohler are signed on to this group! I find it amusing how every lady has "Homemaker" listed by her name even the one female college professors. Homemaking is a good pursuit, I cook and clean myself for my own husband, but isn't that a given? While some of these groups are not as extreme as the Vision Forum folks, this one is definitely seen of the biblical patriarchy ilk. Much of this stuff is even entering the mainstream churches, not just fundamentalist or officially "family integrated" churches.

The other day I encountered something called: A True Woman movement. The name itself is kind of off-putting as if every woman that does not subscribe to these beliefs is not a true woman.

True Woman describes itself thusly:

The True Woman Movement is a worldwide, grassroots movement that was birthed on October 11, 2008, as over 6,000 women gathered in Chicago, Illinois, for the unveiling and signing of the True Woman Manifesto at Revive Our Hearts’ first True Woman Conference.

Since then, approximately 20,000 women have attended all four True Woman national women's conferences, hosted by Revive Our Hearts in partnership with organizations like Moody Bible Institute, FamilyLife, Moms In Touch International, The Council for Biblical Manhood Womanhood, and Life Action Ministries.

Christians should avoid manifestos and signing their names to what are essentially "vows" but there too they have the proverbial manifesto, with false teachings and patriarchy advanced.

The manifesto is scary...I would never sign this document. Some of it sounds good, Christians all desire good things, morality a desire to gloryify God--who can argue with that but remember many false things are sold under the guise of something "good". Ignored are the realities of many women's lives in these sort of documents, there are many women who are single, who do not have families, who are childless, who were married before they were born again, who are married to non-Christian or unsaved men. Overall you will notice what I mean by the return to patriarchy, where submission of women to men, is the theme instead of following God as grown up daughters in Jesus Christ. Here think back to the false doctrine out too. These are parts taken right from the Manifesto:

When we respond humbly to male leadership in our homes and churches, we demonstrate a noble submission to authority that reflects Christ's submission to God His Father.12

A noble submission to authority? I have prayed more would look to God's will in seeking to do his will, then helping to elevate more false preachers. Even in a marriage, the man's "leadership" is to be out of love, not the woman's slavish submission, the man has his end of the deal too to fulfill:

Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

As for humble submission to preachers and church leaders, this is one reason the churches have gone so bad, the hirelings sure love to stress blind obedience and putting themselves above God for people to obey without question. Once they glom on to the women and get them to stop thinking and following without question, their power will be even more entrenched.

This one I found very interesting, given the numbers of abused women in this country, and others where such a belief has led to oppression and diminished lives. What if one of the Duggar girls want's to leave home, would she be told that is a "Selfish insistence on personal rights"? This country was built on individual rights trumping those of the group's. Yes being a servant can be a good thing for a Christian and that is a quality to emulate in Jesus Christ but keep in mind the over-all agenda here.

Selfish insistence on personal rights is contrary to the spirit of Christ who humbled Himself, took on the form of a servant, and laid down His life for us.13

They are correct that children are a blessing, but what about the childless, infertile, those unable to afford adoption, or never married women?
Children are a blessing from God; women are uniquely designed to be bearers and nurturers of life, whether it be their own biological or adopted children, or other children in their sphere of influence.15

Here they focus on gender as trumping all else. By femininity I suspect they mean meekness, mildness and a submissive spirit. They have defined it by their own twisted standards, here think back to verse 17 of Proverbs 31.

God's plan for gender is wider than marriage; all women, whether married or single, are to model femininity in their various relationships, by exhibiting a distinctive modesty, responsiveness, and gentleness of spirit.16

Dominionism right here. Jesus said, HIS KINGDOM is NOT of this world. The patriarchy movements and groups are connected and interwoven with the Dominionist and other political groups:

1.Pray for a movement of revival and reformation among God's people that will result in the advancement of the Kingdom and gospel of Christ among all nations.33

The leaders in this true movement stuff, are well known names, connected to many other well known leaders and published in mainstream evangelical magazines like Christianity Today. Many are blantantly ecumenical like Joni Eareckson Tada who even signed the Manhattan Declaration. Odd how they are so "liberal" when it comes to even signing agreements with churches that preach false gospels but so "old school" in promoting a new enslavement of women. Mary Kassian is one that teaches the same themes and has her website "Girls Gone Wise". Nancy Leigh Demoss is another one, that teaches female submission will "alter the culture" in all her books.

So please think about these things, do not let these women mislead you down their false road and messages, that are not biblical. Patriarchy is not the answer either in response to radical feminism, these are more worldly answers that do not put following God first. Patriarchy is defined in the dictionary, thusly:

patriarchy (ˈpeɪtrɪˌɑːkɪ)

— n , pl -chies
1. a form of social organization in which a male is the head of the family and descent, kinship, and title are traced through the male line.

It is yet another message of social oppression and control that puts "another system" in place of what God has directed biblically and with the sinful nature of human beings has been much abused. Women are not slaves to men. They are to be helpmeets and mutual supporters. So please do not fall into the trap these false teachers have laid.

The Chuck Smith Abortion Controversy

There has been a controversy with Chuck Smith telling a young mother facing a very severe challenge of being told by doctors she is pregnant with conjoined twins and should abort that God would not condemn an abortion in her case.

"It's awfully hard to actually suggest abortion," said Smith. "But, you know, I'm sure that, uh, in a case like this where the life expectancy is just, you know, is so bleak, and all, that I'm sure that the Lord would not condemn her if she went ahead and had an abortion at this early stage of the development of the fetus."

This one bugged me, why go right to abortion as the solution? That is the WORLD's solution, the baby or babies are 'defective' and too many doctors suggest it as the first recourse. The mother here speaks of her babies, she knows they are human lives. I have a healthy cousin now, who the doctors told the mother to abort because supposedly the baby had Down's Syndrome, and she refused. Thank God for that. The baby turned out normal.

Why go to abortion as the first solution? That is Satan's solution. Even the "mother's life is in danger" message, has limits and is often misused, today we have C-sections, this lady does not have to die giving birth to these babies, even if their lives are severely shortened. Abortion causes even more trauma to the mother's that go through it. Imagine her pain, knowing she choose to end these babies lives before it happen naturally.

a

For those who think conjoined twins need to be aborted....

Remember these guys? Chang and Eng Bunker: Married, business men, farmers, world famous, had over 21 children together.

And these girls from the Discovery Health Network:

Their lives certainly have challenges, but why is the answer always to abort, abort, abort [or in other words kill] ? A Christian pastor should know better then giving worldly solutions. The girls above even shared many organs. There have been other conjoined twins shown on the same network and elsewhere.

I hope Chuck Smith admits he was wrong on this.....but somehow I doubt it.

The "Selling" of the New York Stock Exchange?

Is it just me, or does this sound very odd? "NSYE Parent to merge with the German exchange" and "Why is NYSE selling? It's a matter of pennies" and from this article too:

"The New York Stock Exchange, the symbol of American capitalism for more than a century, may merge with a German rival after losing ground to smaller competitors."

I didn't even know they could sell it! Sounds like one day waking up and finding out Yellowstone Park got sold or the White House. I really had to dig for news to find any comments on this, just saw the business articles. They are selling this country right from underneath everyone for their globalist one world plans. One message board person asked will they called it the World Stock Exchange? Just this week the IMF discussed replacing the dollar as the world's reserve currency.

There is very little of this in the news or being discussed on internet websites, I did find one prophecy website addressing it.

Watch this video:

Here is the description of the video, with more information.

The parent company of the New York Stock Exchange is in advanced talks to be acquired by the owner of the Frankfurt stock exchange in a deal that would create a behemoth financial-market operator valued at about $25 billion. The transaction being negotiated by NYSE Euronext and Germany's Deutsche Boerse would put the Big Board's trading floor, which became a flag-draped patriotic symbol in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, under overseas control.

The possibility has already stirred opposition. "This is a slice of America being sold," Joe Saluzzi, co-founder of brokerage Themis Trading in Chatham, N.J., said Wednesday after the companies confirmed their discussions. "You can't allow an American icon to go under foreign control...".

Put the puzzle pieces together, I believe there are drastic changes coming. Please do not shout "conspiracy" at me, either, the new word for 1984's "thought crime". I cannot imagine, even 20 years ago, the organization that controls the selling and buying of millions of stocks of American stockholders and businesses being sold to foreign interests. The Bible warns us what will happen to the world's economy. The one world government and religion is a reality.

What Symbols Can Tell You #2: Bees and Beehives

As you read this one, make sure to remember Mystery Babylon overlaps with its lies, deceptions and SYMBOLS.

The bee in the Old Testament is often used to illustrate pagan people that would come against Israel.

[Deu 1:44 KJVR] And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.

[Psa 118:12 KJV] They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

Isa 7:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

*********************

So biblically the bee is related to pagan symbols...read here:[its from a Freemason website but they have a beehive symbol right on link with beehive at the left]

Hence,' says Faber (Origin of Pagan Idolatry, volume ii, page 133), 'both the diluvian priestess and the regenerated souls were called bees; hence, bees were feigned to be produced from the carcass of a cow, which also symbolized the ark; and hence, as the great father was esteemed an infernal god, honey was much used both in funeral rites and in the Mysteries. This extract is from the article on the bee in Evans' Animal Symbolism

Of course the bee was seen as a symbol for the "mother goddess" as a symbol of fertility. There are many connections to the "goddess": [or as the biblical trained understand "the daughter of Chaldea"]

This is an allusion to a Mother Goddess figure, setting the stage for her Sovereign authority over the creatures she acted as "Mother" to- including humans! That a bee metaphor was chosen is not accidental. In the Word-Oghams from the same culture, the Spirit of the Willow Tree is referred to as being resonant with the "Activity of Bees".

Here is a
pagan website that celebrates the "bee goddess" with bees as representative of different 'goddesses"

This is a picture of a"Sumerian bee goddess."

Seems to be a worldwide symbol of mystery cults and pagan goddess religions. There are of course
connections to Hinduism:

The ancient Mediterranean bee goddesses of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece and Rome are connected to the Hindu Goddess: Bhramari Devi, the bee goddess and her connection to the teachings of the chakras. These seven realms of consciousness emanate from the first sound -- the pulse of the cosmic drum -- the heartbeat of the goddess. The Maha Devi or Great Goddess, Kundalini, manifests in sound form as a queen bee (Bhramari Devi) surrounded by a cloud of buzzing bees

Yes the Hindu religion has its bee goddesses too.

Click on the picture of the hindu goddess Bhramari Devi--see above to make it bigger and see the black bees swarming into her hands:

Speaking of goddesss and [evil beings] reading this gave me the creeps:

From
FATIMA:[remember its really NOT Mary showing up to deceive people] [see this website for quote: these are non-Christian websites so be forewarned]

************************
Marian apparitions

"We would follow the children and kneel in the middle of the field. Lucia would raise her hands and say, 'You bade me come here, what do you wish of me?' And then could be heard a buzzing that seemed to be that of a bee. I took care to discern whether it was the Lady speaking." - Fatima witness Maria Carreira, quoted in Heavenly Lights.

"I heard a sound, a din, such as a great fly makes inside an empty water pot." - Manuel Marto, Fatima witness and father of Jacinta and Francisco.

"Mr Manuel Marto explained to us that, during the entire duration of the appearance, those present heard an indefinable sound, like that which is heard next to a hive, but altogether more harmonious, even though words were not heard." - Italian priest Humberto Pasquale, investigator of the Fatima event.

"On July 13, I was at Cova da Iria. She [Lucia] knelt.... While Lucia was listening to a response, it seemed there was a buzzing sound like that of a cicada." - Fatima witness Antonio Baptista.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sounds like even the meditation practitioners have gotten some of the same affects:

His legs spasm convulsively. He shakes violently. His physical ears have a sound as if a thousand bees are swarming inside, and behind the bees there is a jet descending through his head.

just like the Buddhists too:
For the mighty wordless human song that filled the world, like the buzzing of a million bees, was indeed a collective mantric chorus that vibrated to the spiritual and genetic wavelength of its own species. Mayhap this soul-stirring thrum of human joy might have been a mere drone of monotony to an apiary ear, just as in the buzz of the bees we hear nothing but the dead hiss of insectoid static. But just as the buzzing bees must hear the song of their spirit in the voices of their fellows, so did this mighty mantra of the collective human spirit draw my singularity toward union with the chorus of the whole.

and those who practice other occult meditative practices such as Kundalini describe it in this way:

Bhramara vedha - an experience of the rise of kundalini that is like the buzzing of a black bee

Have Catholics ever asked why the Vatican is covered in bees?

Bee hive crown of the Pope:

The Bees that swarm over the columns around the main altar in the Vatican?

Swarming all over the columns are the bees that are the hallmark of the coat of arms of the Barberini family, for Pope Urban VIII, who commissioned the work, was a Barberini. It is the most famous baldachino in Christendom, and that is somehow fitting for an altar that sits directly above the tomb of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles

The other symbols and crests?

The Pope's outfits? Notice the little crowns on the bees[click on picture for closer views]

Napoleon was into the bees as well...

Even the carpet is covered with them, if you look close at the picture. The
Merovingians loved the bees too:

To the Merovingians, the bee was a most hallowed creature. A sacred emblem of Egytian royalty, it became a symbol of Wisdom. Some 300 small golden bees were founded stitched to the cloak of Childeric I (son of Meroveus) when his grave was unearthed in 1653. Napoleon had these attached to his own coronation robe in 1804

One thing the beehive is considered a very important symbol in Freemasonry. See this article [from freemason website]: "The Symbolism of the Beehive and Bee"

In Masonry the bee hive is an emblem of industry, and recommends the practice of that virtue to all created beings, from the highest Seraph in Heaven to the lowest reptile of the dust. (Masonic Manual p 52)

Now lets not forget Mormonism [Mormonism adapts a lot of the rituals of freemasonary, why not the symbols?]

The Bee and Beehive, are not a Christian symbol, even if some claim it to so. Satan desires that the world be like a beehive with mindless drone "workers' doing the bidding of the "queen". It is obvious the global elites dream of a world where a hive mind is paramount:

Hive Mind : A type of collective consciousness where individuality is stifled; a state of conformity; also written hivemind”.

“A group of people who give the false impression of being a hivemind (1), eg. by mindlessly following orders.”

Obviously the pattern of this symbol appearing in these different religions and philosophies should serve as a warning.

The Destruction of Our Food-GMO and Terminator Seeds

Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Ever since I found out about terminator seeds, I have understood how famine could take over the planet as predicted in the Bible.

Rev 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Terminator seeds, were invented by a huge agricultural concern--Monsanto to make food produce "sterile seeds" so that the farmer would be required in the next season not to plant from the seeds from already grown food but to buy new fertile seeds from the company. Most people do not even know this exists. They have had their heads filled with propaganda for years, that the genetically modified food--basically prideful mankind monkeying with God's perfect food system would solve the problem of world hunger. I guess very few see the reality that those who work on behalf of evil on this planet, are like mad scientists ensuring more hunger for the world out of their sickening greed.

Here's the catch, when it comes to terminator seeds the stuff can infect other crops. The nuclear bomb may move to second place on the world's "most evil inventions list". Read here:

"Camila Montecinos, an agronomist with the Chilean organization, CET, has another concern, "We've talked to a number of crop geneticists who have studied the patent," she says. "They're telling us that it's likely that pollen from crops carrying the Terminator trait will infect the fields of farmers who either reject or can't afford the technology. Their crop won't be affected that season but when farmers reach into their bins to sow seed the following season they could discover - too late - that some of their seed is sterile. This could lead to very high yield losses. If the technology is transmitted through recessive genes, we could see several years of irregular harvests and a general - even dramatic - decline in food security for the poorest farm communities."

Now I want you to remember one thing, in our own country, this corporation is being given increased power, a totalitarian forces move in to control and corporatize the food. I did a blog article about this already.

Now we have the genetically modified food in general, where they are adding and splicing genes to foods all over the place changing their core properties. It is interesting to know that other countries are outlawing this stuff or even heavily supervising it, while America has seen a flood and growth of GMO products.

Even with the suspected health dangers, more GMO food is being unleashed onto the population unknowingly. One big debacle as of late is the Obama administration approving GMO alfalfa. I know GMO food is personally dangerous, I once ate a tomato product that was GMO, and this was a rare marked one, and broke out in body-wide hives, and am not allergic to regular tomatoes at all. Who knows the long range problems this GMO stuff will cause, there are many who are concerned out there!

Well guess who supports GMO foods wholeheartedly. The Vatican!

In December 2010, NaturalNews covered a leaked report from June 2009 that revealed the Pope Benedict's personal support for GMOs (http://www.naturalnews.com/030807_t...). The report is linked to the one in November, both of which emphasize overall support for GMOs by the Vatican and its scientific academy.

The Holy See is slowly trying to convince both the general public and GMO opponents within its ranks, such as outspoken bishops, to embrace the technology. This agenda clearly defines the Vatican's role in working to cement a relationship between governments and commerce in order to propagate GMO technologies around the world.

See this article too "Monsanto Hanging Out At the Vatican"

That should tell you to avoid them like the plague as much as what is humanely possible.

A Personal Relationship With God

When one becomes a Christian they have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I have heard many scoff at this, especially in churches where they teach one is saved via their infant baptism, corporately, or otherwise. They simply have a hard time understanding what a "personal relationship with Jesus Christ" is.

This comes when one believes and is born again, and usually one is to grow in having day to day interaction and knowing and loving God. Sometimes some of the things I warn about on this blog can be difficult, there are so many wicked people using "religion" to control and exploit people, sadly this happens with those who use the name "Christian" as well. For many people, and this was true for me earlier in life, "god" remained a far away indifferent figure. It was so bad, that in Catholic school, my child brain had this weird thought, that the "Mass", was named after "masses" of people, and there was "god" looking down from above, just seeing us as one big group. So as a Catholic child, I imagined God as this extremely indifferent figure who just looked down on all the little "ant" sized people going through rituals for "him". The idea of even approaching or talking to God on a personal level was thrown out the window.

Yes there are some Catholics and others who do truly pray and try to seek after God individually, though the false gospel of their church stands in the way and provides a great barrier, as they and others are trapped in what "religion" offers instead of a "relationship" being instructed in endless rites, rituals, appeasements to "god" that are not based in a true loving relationship but fear being controlled by a elevated 'clergy class". Good people are stuck in the trap of thinking they can work their way to heaven, following endless rites, rules and prescribed notions--many that barely make any sense, that lead to oppression. This is where so much blind obedience to men comes in, if someone is not listening to God, in a daily prayer life, they are putting that stock in mere men far more. Religion comes out of the "wisdom" of men while God has provided far more for us.

1Cr 2:4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

1Cr 2:5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Rote prayer is so wrong, and does not come out of a relationship, and this is why Jesus Christ Himself warned against vain repetitions.

Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

It is not wrong to listen to another Christian pray and follow along or to read a written prayer in a book hopefully adding your own words, but when churches have people repeat the same rote prayers over and over, there is a problem. The formalized words that are repeated by a whole room of people or over and over, are dead words if not said with conviction and from the heart. God wants YOUR words, and to communicate with you-the personality HE made, not just to be addressed like a machine. The rosary would be one example of this in Catholicism and prayer wheels in Buddhism another where the wheels spin and spin, supposedly repeating the same prayer over and over. Stop praying to Mary, she isn't hearing you anyway, and any being would be driven crazy to hear "Hail" over and over a million times from a million mouths! Same with God, Jesus made His Will known regarding our prayer life. This includes this promise:

Luk 11:9 ¶ And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Luk 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Conversation with God should be a part of every Christian's life, and I mean REAL conversation. You recognize God as the Almighty and all powerful but praying in Jesus's name, you take your real concerns and problems before Him. There is no hiding who you are from God, and "faking" it in front of Him, you are wasting your time. The Holy Spirit will bring things to your mind to pray for too. This will include discernment and even leading you to pray for someone who is ill or in some other trouble.

False religion is about making endless appeals and amends following a set series of rituals for a set aside false "deity" ready to cast you down at the first instance of a misspoken word or missed religious event. Having a relationship with Jesus Christ comes out of love, not out of making endless appeasements to a cruel false "god" such as what is done in other religions. "god" in many false religions such as the New Age, is seen as a "force" that can be controlled by special rituals and prescribed actions.

This verse speaks of the Antichrist in the book of Daniel:

Dan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Lost people approach "god" seeing "him" as this capricious impersonal "force" instead of understanding God as a living "Person" who we were made in the image of, who understands human emotions. Jesus wept in the Bible, and well God is truly there to guide, instruct, comfort and protect you.

1Jo 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. For the Christian, realizing what Jesus Christ did for us out of love, is awe-inspiring!

Hbr 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

When you recognize this love, repent of your sins and come to Jesus Christ in faith and are born again, this means you can develop a loving relationship with God, that is based in truth. This means having a personal loving relationship with God, where you are able to talk to Him about your deepest heart's desires, concerns and hopes for others and where you will want to praise Him daily just for what He did for you. God will be there for every trial from the death of a friend to facing severe health problems. During the years, one will grow as a Christian seeking God's direction and guidance and where prayer will become like breathing, you will need it. Trying to hide yourself from God or hoping a "perfect" Christian lifestyle will bring you into this relationship, just will not work.

Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Salvation Made Plain
