The Wild Goose Fest:Giant Emergent Fest

If you want to see the full blown apostate antichrist church in action check this website out...

I found out about it from Apprising Ministries: [good website for information, but do disagree with him about Walter Martin]

"The Emerging Church on A Wild Goose Chase"

Wild Goose Festival - June 23 - 26, 2011 - Shakori Hills Farm, NC from Wild Goose on Vimeo.

For an approximately 100-130 dollar ticket, you can be a member of the audience for lots of "Christian" rock music and false progressive leaders like Rob Bell, Brian McLaren, Jay Bakker--son of Jim and Tammy who defends homosexuality, and "progressive" Christian Jim Wallis of Sojourners magazine.

The festival itself looks to paganism [the Celtics] even for their title, notice the "inclusive" universalist, ecological in tone invitation...

What is Wild Goose?
The Wild Goose is a Celtic metaphor for the Holy Spirit. We are followers of Jesus creating a festival of faith, justice, music, and the arts. The festival is rooted in the Christian tradition and therefore open to all regardless of belief, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, denomination or religious affiliation.

Why Wild Goose?
In adopting the image of the Wild Goose, we recognize that in the current climate of religious, social and political cynicism, embracing the creative and open nature of our faith is perhaps our greatest asset for re-building and strengthening our relationships with each other, with our enemies, with our stories, our texts, and the earth. In that spirit, in a festive setting, and in the context of meaningful, respectful, and sustained relationships, we invite you to create with us!

and from the Wild Goose blog:

The Wild Goose Festival is taking place for the first time this June 23-26, at Shakori Hills, near Raleigh-Durham, NC: We’re gathering at the intersection of justice, spirituality and art with the firm intention of becoming a unique and significant space promoting social change in the US and elsewhere. Our roots in the traditions of social justice, creativity, and Celtic spirituality are perhaps most clearly exemplified by our friends at the Greenbelt Festival in the UK. Greenbelt has had as many as 30,000 people attend, and has become a culture-shaping movement in Europe

Greenbelt has, over the years, seen provocative engagements from speakers, performers and musicians like Rowan Williams, Anita Roddick, U2, Bruce Cockburn, Richard Rohr, and Michael Franti.

Check out the list of speakers, more listed here then on the video...I went through and looked at some of the names, clicking on the pictures will bring up bios, lots of progressive types, and others in the 'monastic' movement. The Monastic movement, are Emergents that bring people to live in community like the monks of old. Bill Hybel's wife Lynne Hybels, Doug Pagitt, of the Emergent church Solomon's church, Episcopalian priests, United Methodist, and United Church of Christ leaders, and one of the most interesting of all plan to be present. He is:

"Father" Richard Rohr. We knew the Catholic involvement had to be there. Quoted on the website for his biography:

Fr. Richard Rohr is a Franciscan priest of the New Mexico Province. He is the founding director of the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, which is a center for contemplative education, especially oriented for people working for social change and issues of justice. The CAC has been called a school for prophetic leadership, and Richard is most known for his worldwide conferences, books, and recorded teachings in these directions. Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life is published this March...

I have seen his name before on many interfaith events and organizations [see here, here, and his main website here:

Richard Rohr, has advanced the cause of the COSMIC CHRIST [the antichrist]

Click on the picture below to enlarge:

From the link the picture is on...

In this evening presentation, Fr. Richard Rohr offers an overview of how our very notion of Christ is intersecting with consciousness itself and with our much improved knowledge of the cosmos. Come hear how theology, scripture, psychology and quantum physics are revealing a truly cosmic notion of Jesus who revealed and personified "the Christ".

He also wrote here in this article called "the eternal christ in the cosmic story"

"We’ve turned Christianity into that evacuation plan for the next world. The term “cosmic Christ” reminds us that everything and everyone belongs. We’re all unworthy but the mystery of the Incarnation means the divine indwelling is in all of us. We’re indeed the body of Christ. God’s hope for humanity is that one day we will all recognize that the divine dwelling place is all of creation. Christ comes again whenever we see that matter and spirit coexist. This truly deserves to be called good news."

and from his organization "The Center for Action and Contemplation" website:

Mission & Vision

Our Vision

The Center for Action and Contemplation supports a new reformation—from the inside—
~ In the spirit of a Cosmic Christ
~ Confirming people's deeper spiritual intuitions
~ Encouraging actions of justice rooted in prayer
~ With a new appreciation for, and cooperation with,
other denominations, religions, and cultures

Apprising Ministries rightly points out their collective mysticism and universalism and points out that one of their planned for speakers Samir Selmanovic is so universalistic, he openly worships with witches.

As we see here, we see the progression in the formation of the one world religion [it's really here NOW], course while these are the out and out "progressive" emergents, we know their mission and goals are being promoted from the 'conservative side" too with Emergent theology, mysticism, and global unity.

This festival and it's language reminds me so much of my UU days, the focus on "justice", vague spirituality, and the typical "liberal" causes.

Read this article I wrote in context "Emergents Remind Me of Unitarian Universalists"

Pray for all the deceived people, these false leaders make use of human nature and even some "good" things people seek after, desiring to help others, creativity and more to subvert it to their antichrist cause. For that I will keep praying that more will come to the true Jesus Christ instead of the cosmic christ of the one world religion and the Catholic church.

This is bizarre. It is right out of theosophist/mason/luciferian Alice Bailey's The Plan to infiltrate Christian churches ro deceive Christians into accepting and promoting the luciferian spirituality and cosmic christ while still believing they are Christian, leaving only a shell of a Christian church identity.

Another good article. What's your issue with Walter Martin? I never bothered to look closely at him. Do you see a problem?

First Anon, yes they are following the Alice Bailey Plan to a tee, as I wrote about here too, the evangelicals have been ushered in under the Catholic umbrella.

The all religions are one theme is also promoted by the Masons too who wish for all religions to join around the "same altar'

At this Wild Goose Fest they have many connections to out and out universalism, well Rob Bell has come out with his false "no hell" teachings hasn't he?

A few years ago some of us were warning that the Emergent movement was a road back to Rome. It definitely has served as that. Richard Bennett wrote this three part article on the Emergent movement and wrote for one subheader

"The Emergent Movement Markets Catholicism"

How true that is!

I saw major problems with Walter Martin who is now deceased. The biggest was he left the Roman Catholic church out of his Kingdom of Cults book, if he could not even discern who the mother of all abominations was or who is represented by Mystery Babylon, that is not good. I have examined this book myself in a Christian bookstore, no Rome, totally wiped away.

I saw this years ago...I don't agree with Chick on everything but interesting as far as Martin goes...

Scroll down for more commentary...

"And so we published ALBERTO. I hoped, down in my heart, Walter Martin would back me up.

One thing stuck in my mind. Why didn't Walter Martin sound the alarm? He was the great expert on cults, especially since he knew all the history about the Inquisition. And yet he kept quiet. Why is Walter Martin defending this evil system, calling it a Christian church? The man is a genius. He knows about her history, and yet he's defending the whore of Revelation."

Catholics admitting Martin softened up on Catholicism...

Now I know children can go all sorts of way aside from parents, but I had dealings with Walter Martin's daughter Jill Rische online-read her blog and message board, [she runs Walter Martin Ministries] and she was totally ecumenical, having at least some years ago, which I personally witnessed, a CATHOLIC moderate her message board who actively promoted Catholic teachings. In fact I protested this, that wasn't well received.

Interesting on her blog today:

"Also, check out our Night Watch Archives for last week's guests, Capt. Richard Barfield (a chaplain deployed to Haiti), Dr. Ron Rhodes (ronrhodes.org), and Jeff Harshbarger (refugeministries.cc - former Satanist), now a Calvary Chapel pastor."

She wrote this regarding the Catholic church on her blog...which will detail where they go off the rails...

"Although I disagree with many of the teachings of the Catholic Church, I believe it holds to key Christian doctrines and many within it know and love Jesus Christ. There will never be peace on this earth between the Protestant Church and the Catholic Church; if history has taught us anything, it has taught us this.

I can only hope that God gives us an extra measure of grace in dealing with each other."

from same conversations:

"My position on Catholicism is the same one my father took: I disagree with many of the teachings, but acknowledge the presence of true believers within the Catholic Church. I think this position is reciprocated by Catholics. :) It would be ideal if we could all agree to disagree agreeably, but history has shown that this is the exception to the rule."

I was on an earlier form of her message board...

Notice how Catholicism is listed here..

The Orthodox church is listed as "Christianity" as well.

Not only not discerning, but they were/are likely disinformationists. How could one possibly know so much about cults and not include the Mother of all cults?! Can't be. Something's certainly rotten in Denmark! Martin and his daughter was and has got to be plants. Plus, if one thinks Catholicism is Christian, and they are supposedly expert at discerning cults, then they don't know their Gospel and they are plants. I could understand regular people who are not familiar with Catholicism not realizing it's a cult, but not those two. Anon. #1

Thanks anon,

Yeah you really have to wonder...considering the Catholic religion "Christian"? Ignorance seems a woeful excuse, for people whose whole living was based on apologetics. How could they NOT KNOW?

Walter Martin was actually "outed" by Alberto Rivera as being on a Jesuit "safe list". In other words, catholic leadership could count on Martin to not say anything too bad for catholicism.

Bible Believer said...

I could see it. He certainly left Catholicism alone mostly, a few discussions regarding its errors and did not tell the truth about it being the harlot. Sadly there were and are many out there like that.

I have Walter Martin's book. He promotes the new version "Bibles" and is friendly to the Seventh-Day Adventists(page 535). He seems to believe that you can be a "true follower of Jesus Christ"(p.535)- and be a follower(p.535) of Ellen White's(Adventist writings)- or a follower of the Vatican.

Thanks for the info on Walter Martin. I wouldn't know if he is disinfo. Maybe you guys are right?

You know...I'm not a big fan of Wikipedia but...have you seen their Alberto Rivera article? Doesn't look too good for Bertie.

Anon, I guess I'm not surprised he promotes the false translations and is friendly to SDA. I consider SDA a Catholic construct as well as other cults, to deceive people by. What is interesting about the SDA though I've seen their magazines and papers warning about the Vatican and the UN telling people in the pews one thing, is they have an official liason office at the UN:

and their Vatican go to ecumenical man...Dr. Bert Beach.

HI Matt...

I think Walter Martin shows too many signs of being "too friendly" to Rome. Whether he is one of the endless number of deceived duped "evangelicals" without the leading of the Holy Spirit or a knowing one, that is always harder to pin down but his influence has been strong.

Yeah I saw all the bad stuff they had to say about Alberto Rivera. Of course we know sometimes the price of warning people or the truth, is some trying to blacken your name. All I know considering Alberto Rivera, reading Smokescreens, what was warned of 25 years ago, came true, with the Catholic church running the show in America.

Anonymous said...

Did Albert Rivera die of poisoning? Did a Seventh-Day Adventist interviewer of Rivera's die in a plane crash? Only God knows the real truth but for some reason, I think Rivera is real, even after reading and listening to interviews. I wonder if we should bring up his name again. I never did like Chick tracts. I heard on tv that they are illegal in some countries-Canada?

Bible Believer said...

Jack Chick Tracts were outlawed in Canada, [orit may have been the comics] but do not think that was pernament. Albert Rivera, did seem to preach and warn of many things that came true, that's all I know. Reading Smokescreens and the Rivera comics about how the RCC would take over the churches and seminaries and infiltrate them, well that is what happened isn't it? Even Rivera's information about how the RCC used Communism vs. Fascism on two sides, also panned out with outside research. We know the "Catholic" American warnings came true.

Whether he was real or not {I tend to think he was] a lot of what he had to warn of is true and came true.

You guys obviously have not education and moral values. You preach that social justice has no place in Christianity. I wonder if you just skip to the parts that you want and throw the rest out. Someday you'll come around...

Bible Believer said...

Social justice is a phrase used as a smokescreen often on endless injustice done to human beings and bring more control and tyranny to their lives as well as betrayal. I believe Christians should help the poor and others. I just do not agree with liberal betraying agendas. This does not mean uniting with antichrist agendas to do so. I have written about the poor on this blog...
