Evangelicals Meeting with Mormons: another false religion

"Evangelicals, Mormons Seek Common Ground in Utah"

This has been going on for years, meetings like this, but just as many of these evangelicals meet with Catholics, they also embrace those who follow the false religion of Mormonism. There are some evangelicals who tell the truth about Mormonism, but these folks wish to unite with them.

"A group of prominent evangelicals will meet with a Mormon leader Thursday in Salt Lake City, Utah, for dialogue to better understand each other's faith.

Some of the evangelical leaders involved in the dialogue are: Leith Anderson, president of the National Association of Evangelicals; Richard Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary; Craig Williford, president of Trinity International University; and David Neff, editor-in-chief of Christianity Today; among others."

According to the article many evangelical organizations and "40 denominations" will be represented. This meeting too seeks "common ground" where the leaders desire to "work together" also going against what the Bible tells us about uniting with unbelievers.

Described elsewhere:

The National Association of Evangelicals’ board of directors, which includes the CEOs of 40 denominations and representatives of many evangelical organizations and churches, will gather in Park City and Salt Lake City on Thursday, March 10. The board, according to a news release, plans to meet with Utah Gov. Gary Herbert and an LDS leader.

Well all facets of the one world religion and daughters of the harlot are joining together. Evangelicals and others have been led to accept Mormonism via rallies of support for Mormon Glenn Beck, the false culture wars, and presidential candidate Mitt Romney. I still remember myself speaking with a family member in support of that candidate who insisted on telling me "Mormons are Christians too!". Mormonism has nothing to do with Christianity, it preaches a false gospel and actually some very strange teachings that many people do not know about such as every man becoming a "god" of his own planet. If you want to see how unusual Mormonism is and its cadre of false, occult, gnostic-tinged teachings, watch here:

This video, does describe real teachings, they do really teach that Lucifer and Jesus were "brothers", Joseph Smith really supposedly found golden plates, they do really believe they will become "gods" of their own planets. Read this Mormon leaders words for yourself:

"After men...have become gods...they have the power then of propagating their species in spirit; and that is the first of their operations with regard to organizing a world. Power is then given to them to organize the elements, and then commence the organization of tabernacles. How can they do it? Have they to go to that earth? Yes, an Adam will have to go there, and he cannot do without Eve; he must have Eve to commence the work of generation, and they will go into the garden, and continue to eat and drink of the fruits of the corporeal world, until this grosser matter is diffused sufficiently through their celestial bodies to enable them, according to the established laws, to produce mortal tabernacles for their spiritual children."
LDS Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, p. 275, 1852.

When I examined Mormonism and even found websites that exposed their secret rituals and ex-Mormons detailing their experiences in the temple, I realized Mormonism seemed to be just a new version of Catholicism with a new version of priest craft, and a giant dash of Freemasonry, and Theosophy included.

One thing when one examines the rituals and accouterments of Mormonism: a lot matches Freemasonry, one of these is the use of the "apron". Modern Freemasons wear aprons which really are a repudiation of the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ in regards to sin. Remember when Adam and Eve covered themselves in fig leaves in the garden when they sinned?

Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Here you see some modern day Freemasons [these two next to a Catholic cardinal] wearing their aprons...

And here two Mormon priests doing a Mormon temple ritual...[notice the green leaves of the design?]

Many of the hand signs and positions match too.

One ex-Mormon blogger says of the aprons...

"As you can see, the fabric of a silken, green, fig leaf adorned apron is woven deep within the occult of Satanic rituals and symbolism. Those Mormons who hold this little garment sacred, be afraid, very afraid. Satan is very pleased with you. If you value your spiritual well-being, burn your apron and renounce your ritualistic commitments you have made with Lucifer. Call out to God for forgivness and the Holy Spirit will fill you with Christs love, and peace will rest within your heart."

She is right about that.

One thing about Joseph Smith is he did admit he was a Freemason: see here:

"In the evening I received the first degree in Free Masonry in the Nauvoo Lodge, assembled in my general business office"

"I was with the Masonic Lodge and rose to the sublime degree."

His History of the Church, March 15, 1842, Vol. 4, page 551, 552

So wonder Mormonism sees to share so many of aspects of freemasonry. One thing to remember, the Masonic orders from everything I have researched definitely seem to be under the control of the Pope.

Now ask yourself why these evangelicals are so intent on dialogue and "learning from" a religion so false as Mormonism? Why are they giving any place to these doctrines of demons?

1 Timothy 4
1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
