Another "Christian" Defends Halloween!

Am I missing something here? You mean that those of us who say something is evil about a holiday where they display every wicked thing such as plastic skulls, decapitated fake heads, giant spiders and wicked witches and celebrate it, we are the crazy ones for saying it may be incompatible with being a Christian?

Even the usually bland and pedestrian comic strip Family Circus has gotten really strange this week where the three year old character Jeffy, sends the youngest member of the family P.J. crying by wearing a mask that looks like Satan with fangs and all, and then watching his Dad, fake a heart attack after seeing him wear the same mask. Is it weird of me to ask why child-hood trauma has been added to the comics page or thinks having little kids run around dressed as demons is funny?

Add to that, driving around you see suburban families having set up entire fake plastic or Styrofoam graveyards in their front yards, [haven't they ever faced a real death in the family before?] along with witches hanging in the trees, fake spider webs, and the rest. Even many Christians realize, that they see fellow Christians who put up pictures of their kids dressed for Halloween, witches, ghouls and all. You realize fast the world loves Halloween while you understand its spiritual roots, and are working to warn people. While the majority of people especially among the unsaved are just ignorant and do not know any better, among confessing Christians who should know better, in some cases they sure love their holidays more then they love God.

What is wrong with letting the kids play dress-up [ innocent characters like boys dressing up as a cowboy or girls as a nurse] and giving them candy as a treat on a DIFFERENT DAY with no Halloween nonsense? Conformity to the world comes first to far to many and peer pressure to the world.

But here we go again with a young "pastor" who works in youth ministry, defending Halloween, and telling Christians that to refuse to celebrate Halloween is basically being a party-pooper in this article: Halloween--Satan's Birthday? Here we see the usual moral relativist message along the lines of "something may be evil for you but not for someone else" which is totally deceptive:

Don’t get me wrong. Christians have to be aware, holy and wise. We want to make sure that, just because some use this holiday to celebrate evil, we are using it to glorify God. If you choose to protest this holiday do so without condemning the Christians who don’t.

He goes on further with the typical "do not judge" message. Now certainly, we cannot expect those who are not born again with no conviction to not embrace Halloween wholeheartedly but to suspend all "judgement" concerning Halloween in the church and among Christians, totally wrong, and double minded and a defense of the blatantly wicked and evil. The following makes no sense to me, as how could you rescue folks from something if you are fully involved with Halloween yourself and calling people legalists who warn openly about it?

Whatever you think of Halloween, use it as an opportunity to rescue people from the real danger of the spiritual realm, Satan and his demonic army.

He follows this by telling people to pass out lots of candy and insists that Christians must participate in the trick or treat ritual, and please others, rather then bowing out of this satanic holiday. There is no "love" in honoring Halloween and leading people especially Christians to excuse and embrace it more. The last thing America kids need too is more unhealthy junk food and sugar which are OK as an occasional treat but not for giant bagfuls. Halloween like Christmas teaches greed and getting as many "goodies" as possible.

Roman Catholic "Saints" Were No Saints!

Every Catholic child, is brought up with endless saints and supposed to follow them as "holy examples". Reading books such as Butler's Lives of Saints, having saint relics in our households, and even being named for saints, no Catholic child whose family takes the religion serious, misses out on learning a lot about these men and women. With salvation and bible training a Christian realizes fast most Catholic saints are souls to be pitied who lived in spiritual delusion. I include my old 'confirmation' saint, St. Teresa of Lisiuex to be among them.

Outside of the biblical figures that Roman Catholicism has named saints, such as "Saint" Paul, Catholic "saints" given that honor were not saints by the biblical definition of a saint whatsoever. There may be a few people who were more humble and "nice" people such as the Catholic "saint" Maxmilian Kolbe who gave up his life at a concentration camp, but this does not change the facts about the depths of deception of the Catholic religion.

Deu 33:3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints [are] in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; [every one] shall receive of thy words.

Real Christians aren't fame seekers that kneel on TV before the halls of power, that means most of the best Christians in this world, died unknown and without endless books written about them, they aren't having political rallies and kissing the boots of world leaders. Instead they are hated by the world and persecuted as warned by Jesus Christ. Their crowns and rewards will be in heaven.

The evidence is out there, that many of Rome's saints were led by false spirits. Real Christian saints didn't spend hours bilocating--really the Catholic word for astral travel, levitating or bleeding from holes in their hands. [many know that Jesus had to be crucified with nails through the wrists to hold the body weight to the cross]

Many of the teachings and writings of so called Catholics saints are out and out antichrist. One of Rome's doctors of the church": St. Catherine of Siena had this to say:

"Even if the Pope were Satan incarnate, we ought not to raise up our heads against him, but calmly lie down to rest on his bosom. He who rebels against our Father is condemned to death, for that which we do to him we do to Christ: we honor Christ if we honor the Pope; we dishonor Christ if we dishonor the Pope. I know very well that many defend themselves by boasting: "They are so corrupt, and work all manner of evil!" But God has commanded that, even if the priests, the pastors, and Christ-on-earth were incarnate devils, we be obedient and subject to them, not for their sakes, but for the sake of God, and out of obedience to Him."

St. Catherine of Siena, SCS, p. 201-202, p. 222

How much better to lead people to embrace the antichrist and wickedness then a message of blind obedience to evil like that? This too is totally contrary to the warnings of Jesus Christ about wolves in sheep's clothing and testing the fruits.

Some Catholic so called "saints" show massive demonic involvement, for some, this can be following deceiving visions such as when a false spirit pretending to be "Mary" or other biblical figures shows up to following what in the New Age would basically be the same as "spirit guides" or "demons". Padre Pio who was made a saint by Pope John Paul II in 2002, showed frightening evidence of demonic consortion. This included incidents spoken of where he was literally beaten by "spirits". Of course he is not the only Catholic saint speaking of physical manifestations of evil spirits in their lives. The fact seems then they were inviting the spirits in. How could that be? Well back to Padre Pio, think of all those warnings in the Bible about worship of "angels" or calling on "familiar spirits". [Lev 19:31]

Padre Pio instructed the unbiblical worship of "angels":

Col 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Padre Pio instructed:

"Invoke frequently this (your) Guardian Angel, this benefactor angel. Repeat often the beautiful prayer: "Angel of God, my Guardian dear, to whom the heavenly Father's bounty entrusts me here; enlighten me, guard me, guide me now and forever." How great, my dear Raffaelina, will be the consolation, when, at the hour of death, your soul will see this angel, who is
so good, who has accompanied you throughout your life, who was so ample in his maternal care![...snipped due to length...] My God, how many times did I respond to the ample, more than maternal care of this good angel without any sign of respect, affection or acknowledgment! It is this thought that presently rather fills me with confusion: alas -- hear this and be horrified -- such is my blindness that I feel no remorse at this. And what is worse still, I treat this dear little
angel, I do not say as a friend, but as a member of my family. And to tell the truth, this dear angel is not the least offended at being treated like this by
me. How precious he is, how good!"

(Padre Pio da Pietrelcina.

19504)

Read the whole quote here;

That is disturbing. Well prayers to so called guardian angels is not unheard of in Catholic circles. Adding to Padre Pio's circumstances, other monks, used to be afraid of rooming near or with him because he talked to so many spirits all night long. Then he like so many popular saints from earlier centuries as well, got stigmata. Ask yourself what is holy or good about Stigmata? This is when people start bleeding uncontrollably from the middle of their hands or feet and is more a breach against Hebrews 6:6, and blasphemy against Jesus then anything good and wholesome. I believe it is demonically inspired as well if not out right charlantry in some cases.

There are many saints who showed stigmata who had false visions and levitated, St. Francis of Assisi, St Teresa of Lisiuex was among them as well as many others. In fact in the case of St. Teresa and some of the female saints, things get even stranger as they seek after "mortification's": [suffering for suffering's sake believing it makes them more holy]. Having read Story of a Soul, the book by St Teresa, she speaks of allowing flies to remain on her on purpose. Like Hindu ascetics who hang out on the nail bed and grow their fingernails to two feet long, many Catholic saints starve themselves, sleep on the floor on purpose, go without shoes, sit on pillars, and damage their bodies, believing it earns them a way into heaven. Sadly, here too people instead of turning to Jesus Christ and trusting in Him and His goodness, proudly focus on "suffering" [needless suffering in this case] their way into heaven. One of the worse quotes out there, is Josemarie Escirva's explanation in his book "The Way" [page 208] "Blessed be pain. Loved be pain. Sanctified be pain. . . Glorified be pain!."

Other Catholic saints, who may not had gotten into the outwardly demonic, self destructive or mystical, taught and promoted evil things. St. Thomas Aquinas [remember I mentioned him in the article about ecumenical Calvary Chapel preachers] is one of those. One thing Ive noticed about Catholic "saints" is they are always preaching the opposite of what God's Word says, but why wouldn't this be true due to their membership in the harlot?

St. Thomas Aquinas who I showed is popular among some evangelical "theologians" who call themselves "Thomists" taught this:

Every part is directed to the whole, as imperfect to perfect, wherefore every part exists naturally for the sake of the whole. For this reason we see that if the health of the whole human body demands the excision of a member, because it became putrid or infectious to the other members, it would be both praiseworthy and healthful to have it cut away. Now every individual person is related to the entire society as a part to the whole. Therefore if a man be dangerous and infectious to the community, on account of some sin, it is praiseworthy and healthful that he be killed in order to safeguard the common good, since "a little leaven corrupteth the whole lump (1 Cor. 5

(Summa Theologiae, II, II, q. 64, art. 2).

This is totally against the teachings of Jesus!. Here the apostles want to call down fire to destroy some folks who reject the gospel, and here is Jesus's response...

Luk 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw [this], they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

Luk 9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
How sadder yet that some evangelicals see these men as philosophers and examples to follow and we now have pastors pointing to these Catholics saints! I will never forget the day, I heard St. Francis of Assisi, who may as well be named the precursor to some of today's modern nature worshipping New Agers and other stigmatist, being praised during a Calvary Chapel sermon.

I can go through many more examples, they are out there. What is sad is via the Emergent movement that the honor of Catholics saints and their practices such as Lectio Divina [more on that later, are being moved into evangelical churches]. There are many out there, who are selling Catholic saints to evangelicals and Protestants as examples to follow. Here is one book as an example: "The Lure of Saints" whose author states "The Lure of Saints seeks to reintroduce Protestants to the fullness of the spirituality of the saints..."

One thing as one examines the pantheon of Catholic saints who really are updated Roman house "gods", most were celebrities of their time, Mother Teresa is one of the most modern examples. Another factor is some made a lot of money for the Vatican, Escriva is said to have been made a saint, a mere 17 years after his death, for the purported buckets of money, Opus Dei which he was the leader of gave to the Vatican.. Even one news article asked of Mother Teresa, Where are Her Millions? [given to the Vatican?] Further realizing many Catholics saints, are Vatican leaders, powerful and/or wealthy founders of monasteries, orders and convents is of interest. Even if living under the oath of poverty, many even within life aquired incredible fame. The Catholic definition of saint is wrong as well being their special class of elites above everyone else, trying to turn God into a respecter of persons. The Bible defines a saint as every truly born again believer who is under the blood of Jesus Christ.

Rom 15:25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

The RCC elevates it's glorified high status people supposedly to heaven, while preaching a false gospel, that makes the goal post for the average person seem insurmountable. The true gospel which puts Jesus Christ and His perfection in the center is pushed aside and hidden for the super duper uber-religious humans who supposely got into heaven all on their own merits and suffering.

Ever notice the majority of the saints named by the Catholic church always had some fame towards the end or some church work/visions/happenings they were known for? Even to be made a saint, the Catholic church must see some "miracle" on earth.

Most true Christian saints are unrecognized by this world. They died unknown, unloved and unrecognized by the world except by God. If you want to read about true Christian saints, read Foxe's Book of Martyrs or read about Christian persecution going on now in the world. Jesus Himself warned that the world would hate those who are truly His. The only actual saints Rome has on it's ledgers are Biblical figures.

God is Faithful: Keep in Prayer

1Cr 1:9 God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord

God has answered many prayers for me recently, the most recent being for an out of state friend who could be facing homelessness to find a home, and other blessings. Praise God for these answered prayers and others! In my life, I have seen people healed and many impossible situations changed via prayer. One thing in this world, remember to step back when under stress and remember to pray when facing a problem. In the middle of a problem, tunnel vision can happen, and people run around, instead of taking the time to do what is most important and pray. Even in the worse situation, step back, and put prayer on the front burner.

There is no request too small or too big for God. Daily conversation with God is of utmost importance, and as a Christian's relationship with God develops they will be in conversation with God more and more. It will no longer be rote, or something you neglect, but something that becomes as important to you as breathing. It is to me.

I still remember the days when I wasn't saved and I had odd worries about "bugging God" with a myriad of problems or feeling not listened to. Well God does listen, and while He may say "No" at times, to some of your requests or those for others, He knows what is best in His perfect will as you grow in the Christian life, you will also find amazing answers to prayers as well.

One thing I have prayed for, which God has answered is when I do not understand something I pray to God to show me the truth on matters. There are times where God may ask someone to do something they do not understand or even in the flesh do not want to do, but if you ask God for clarification and help, He will grant it. Isa 1:8. Keep in God's Word when you pray and understand God is always there for you. Keep in mind as this world grows more dark, prayer will become our lifeblood, and that which keeps us going. Pray for your loved ones, and their salvation and everything the Holy Spirit brings to your attention.

Phl 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Left Wing And Right Wing: It's All a Big Lie!

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

I wanted to share this article, I think it's a good one to share with sleeping friends and relatives, of course without help from the Holy Spirit, people are going to be deceived in general. What is happening in America, is a world wide phenomenon; economies worldwide are under strain, and society seems to breaking apart at the seams. This election, I have the feeling, that due to the rightly upset people out there, they will be throwing many more Republican's into office in response to Obama's administration, the pendulum swings back and forth from one false side to the other false side. Short memories abound. I have come more into the belief that Christians should distance themselves from politics as much as possible, the third parties show their signs of being "owned" and vetted too. Well read the article: "Left Wing and Right Wing: It's All a Big Lie"!

“Ultimately, the same people run the show. They set up this false left-right paradigm and get people fighting endlessly over meaningless junk. There is a great line in Macbeth about "a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing." The real problem is not the media, Washington, Hollywood, etc. The real problem is that so many people are so willing to believe what their chosen spinmeisters tell them, no matter how absurd.”

I do not expect any changes, given the Bible tells us where this world is going. One should make a stand against evil as much as they can, but stay away from those who teach carnal and wicked answers to the problems of this world as well. The Christian is to seek peace. There are many who understandably are mourning what is becoming of this country as they watch the economy implode, and iniquity abound.

One thing examine history here: they have done the two middles against the truth thing before, Right Vs. Left, Communism Vs. National Socialism. Check this video out this one will surprise you and get you to think... Why I am NOT a Calvinist!

Calvinism has an appeal because it tends to have an answer for everything -- you can explain everything [by saying] that God predestined it." --- Author unknown

This article I want to explore Calvinism and why I do not agree with it. This article due to space will not cover every in and out of Calvinism such as TULIP, etc, but will cover my basic disagreements. The modern churches today that are rooted from Calvinism include the various Presbyterian churches and "Reformed" churches. Calvinism is getting very popular out there, and there are many young people flocking to the reformed . Calvinist theology] is infiltrating and starting to predominate in many baptist congregations including as a strong force in the Southern Baptist Conference and even some fundamentalist baptist churches. This is ironic since Calvinists used to put some Ana-baptists to the stake. I used to ask Calvinists: why should I hold Calvin as being a godly man, since he kept the worse baggage of Rome and burned Servetus to death?[a known martyr in Unitarian circles]. I am going to run down what I noticed after years of seeing Calvinist blogs, reading their books, and interacting with them online. Many are well-meaning people who do want the truth, but they have been deceived. One thing as a warning to everyone: once you become a [*name that man*] "ism" [Lutheranism, Wesleyanism, Calvinism etc, you have run off the rails from being a Christian. There is a reason the Bible warns about the DAUGHTERS of Rome and the harlot daughters of the mother.

Mark 8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

1. The overall problem with Calvinism is they hold to Rome's baggage. This includes holding to early Roman Catholic councils, and early church fathers. Calvinists ignore the warnings of the apostles who warned against grievous wolves even during their time, and hold to Rome's false teachings that come from Augustine. Augustine who was praised by Calvin who based a lot of his writings on his teachings, led people to embrace the worse aspects of preterism, sacramentalism--he taught, that "Christ bore himself in His hands" and amillenialism. These basic "Catholic" roots cannot be ignored.

Calvin said this as well:

“Augustine is so wholly with me, that if I wished to write a confession of my faith, I could do so with all fulness and satisfaction to myself out of his writings.”

In embracing Augustine via Calvin, they embrace his spiritual ancestors of Eusebius, Origen, Ignatius, all full of false teachings and leading the churches astray. One sad thing about many Calvinists I have encountered is they seem to take the Roman Catholic version of "church history" for granted, instead of listening to the warnings in the New Testament. Acts 20:29 "For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock."

The very fact their churches are built on these false foundations has led to immense errors, these false early church fathers, are also another avenue back to Rome. Scott Hahn a well-known Catholic convert, writer and teacher, used to be a Presbyterian pastor, had this to say in his book detailing his conversion to the Roman Catholic church:

“Scott gained many insights from the early Church Fathers, some of which he shared in his sermons. This was rather unexpected for both of us, because we had hardly ever read the early Church Fathers when we were in seminary. In fact, in our senior year we had complained loudly to friends about possible creeping Romanism when a course was offered by an Anglican priest on the early Church Fathers. Yet here was Scott quoting them in sermons! One night Scott came out of his study and said, ‘Kimberly, I have to be honest. I don’t know how long we are going to be Presbyterians. We may become Episcopalians’” (Rome Sweet Rome, p. 56).

I have seen this time and time again, even other converts to Rome, have pointed out their emphasis on Rome's false foundations instead of scripture in leading them to swim the Tiber. False church history has led many intellectual seekers without the Holy Spirit into the ditch.

2. The Second thing I noticed with the history of Calvin, was more Catholic baggage and that was not only early proto-Dominionism--marrying church and state back in the 1500s Geneva [Calvin supported the union of church and state and theocracy] but burning "heretics" at the stake, namely Servetus who Calvin said of "If he [Servetus] comes to Geneva, I will never allow him to depart alive." Well this happened. Servetus by the way was a celebrated martyr in Unitarian circles. In other words Calvin retained the murderous aspects of Rome. The Calvinist roots even of the Puritans had them burning people later on.

3. Thirdly, Calvinists, holding to aspects of Romanist sacramentalism even if they admit to some errors in Catholicism still practice false traditions like baby baptism, and practicing Lent. They hold to many traditions of men. Now many churches are infected with false traditions like Christmas, but Calvinists hold to many aspects of the false liturgical churches. One growing trend is even though the Westminister Confession denies the Real Presence, many Calvinists are now contemplating a more Roman Catholic view of communion, while maybe not taking thing as far as out and out transubstantiation, much of Catholic sacramentalism is contemplated, this is not without controversy though.

4. Fourthly, the idea of Christians being "the elect" who live among those who are not "the elect" and never can be, is totally wrong. Calvinists believe that Christians are predestined to be saved. They see themselves essentially as the Christian version of the 'chosen people". One wonders if this is one reason many Calvinists churches do not pass out tracts or do very active witnessing, after all if every Christian is predestined and "already in", what use is there preaching to the lost who have been supposedly predestined to hell from birth? This too leads away from conviction of sin, with Christians being led to see themselves as 'the elect" who supposedly cannot be lost who fail to examine themselves in the faith. 2 Cr 13:5.

The idea of the elect is against the gospel too as scripture says: Jhn 1:7 "The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe".

5. Calvinists can be great Bible scholars and hold a higher concern for doctrine, but here too lies one of the dangers of Calvinism, as a response to the watered down mega-church seeker sensitive "Christianity", it is good that folks seek more biblical truth. The problem comes in when this is married to false church traditions and foundations. Young people desiring more spiritual depth, then end up following Calvinism into more errors.

6. Calvinist churches with some exceptions are part of the ecumenical movement and most Calvinists wishing to separate themselves from the "fundamentalists" they see as intellectually deficient, end up going into "scribe-ville", and falling into the pits that can be laid for those who are "ever learning and never coming into truth."

One well known "Calvinist" Mark Noll [who considers himself a "reformed evangelical"]wrote a book "The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind" decrying the anti-intellectualism of the evangelical world. While he is correct about aspects of this--charismatic churches abuse human emotions to deceive, the sad thing is all this call for "reason" leads back to Rome's false foundations, Noll was a signer of Catholics and Evangelicals Together after all.

The World Reformed Alliance has had the typical ecumenical talks with Rome. They have merged with other organizations and had multiple ecumenical dialogues. Many Reformed and Presbyterian churches are teamed up with the World Council of Churches. There is also the promotion of something called "new calvinism" which is basically akin to neo-evangelicalism, teaching more "relevancy" and compromise with the world.

The New Calvinism is a growing perspective within conservative Evangelicalism that embraces the fundamentals of 16th century Calvinism while also trying to be relevant in the present day world. In March 2009, TIME magazine ranked it as one of the "10 Ideas Changing the World Right Now."[1] Some of the major movers in this area are John Piper, Mark Driscoll, C.J. Mahaney, Joshua Harris, Tim Keller, and Al Mohler.

Now there are a few exceptions to this ecumenical pathway, one can find some old school Reformed types, who hold to the RCC being the harlot. James White, is a Calvinist who warns about Rome and debates well known Catholics such as Robert Sungenis but one thing I noticed having talked to plenty of Calvinists online and reading their blogs, is the majority have embraced the one world religion, and ecumenicalism between churches. Presbyterian USA is one of the most liberal churches out there and most of the Reformed churches have joined the ecumenical parade. There is the Pyromanics website who warns about the Emergent movement, and other errors in the church. White Horse Publications publishes books warning against the Roman Catholic church such as Robert Zins's book: "Romanism: The Relentless Roman Catholic Assault on The Gospel of Jesus Christ". While there are many well-intended Calvinists out there, and many hold to some truths such as sola scripture, a re-examination of Calvinism as a whole is needed. Calvinism is a heresy, and to be frank another "daughter" arising out of the foundations of Rome's false teachers.

More Warnings About Halloween

See this blog entry "Touch Not That Unclean Thing! That Includes Halloween! Halloween is a day Christians need to be in prayer. There are more and more influences to get Christians to compromise with Halloween and celebrate it in "different" capacities. Why Christians feel they must pay homage to one of the Greater Sabbats in the Wiccan calendar, shows how far the churches have fallen away. There are churches purposefully seeking after the "spooky" with Halloween concerts and Harvest parties and other events.

The Church For Hypocrites and Liars

You know times have gotten scary when a church decides they have to appeal so much to the lowest common denominator, that they advertise themselves as the "church for losers, hypocrites, and liars". I can't help it but I wonder if some knowing deceivers are having their satanic fun at the expense of Christians. Check out their website here, where they focus on the liar part. Now I was a low down sinner, before I became born again, as people have read here especially with my Jesus Christ-rejecting past in the UU. Every human being on earth has been a hypocrite, and liar at one time, but this is totally non-biblical, how does this bring anyone to conviction? It just brings them down, and sinks a church into accepting sin. I'm sorry but knowing these folks are far from the only one, in many ways, churches have become an absolute joke in America. The obvious sun worship logo, doesn't surprise me either.

Some of these advertising campaigns are getting out and out stupid, in their desire to appeal to unbelievers who "hate" Christianity and trying to sell themselves as a "cool" church that is "different". Check out for yourselves, the advertising campaign that focuses on a church that says "Go to a Church that doesn't suck". It's getting bad out there.

"Come out of Her": Revelation 18 Applies to More then Catholicism!

Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

This one may repeat some themes, I've dealt with in other posts. What I am noticing in the evangelical world, is blindness towards their own churches, and the evangelical joining with the beast and globalist system. Some minds seem unable to wrap around the fact it is not just false mainline churches, who have 'fallen away" or the false religions of the world under the Mystery Babylon mantle with Catholicism in the lead.

Trying to warn people that most of the evangelical churches have joined too, is not an easy task. I realize that many people simply are innocently ignorant of things like the Lausanne Covenant or how many evangelical leaders are schmoozing with new world order politicians, and leaders behind the scenes. Some may really end up leaving out of the Roman Catholic church, Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses or any other false religion but then STOP in their tracks, when it comes to the Bible and examining the teachings and actions of their evangelical church or leadership.. Some almost seem to think once they have said that "sinner's prayer" and they are around those who pronounce that they are "born again" that they are done and there is no more deception.

As I have said before, some people are in different places, and still being shown things by the Holy Spirit, but have a teachable spirit, with such types, we should pray for them, and warn, tell them what we can. But then there are those who cling to the evangelical church the same way they did their former cult, somehow replicating the same exact behaviors, [not testing teachers according to scripture, preaching that leaving a church is great sin-it's very ironic when ex-Catholics come up with this one, or even more oddly praising creeds and judgements of "Christian orthodoxy" according to Rome's early church fathers]. One would think that given their freedom from whatever cult they left, they would not get back to the same path only this time under a different label.

For those who have stopped in their tracks, some of whom may never have been born again, the evangelical church, while they may admit a few faults, is seen as outside the realm of the cults, and "Mystery Babylon". They do not understand Christians like myself who warn and say "Look with the evangelical churches, many have joined with the beast system as well, they have embraced the same globalist teachings, the same neo-environmentalism, false spirituality, Dominion sm and things inherited from Rome." Many simply cannot conceive of such a thing. Their eyes remain spiritually blinded still seeing Jesus Christ's church as a set of buildings, human organizations and global pursuits instead of the ekklesia 'called out ones" in the Greek [the true church of Jesus Christ]. Now there are saved people in some of these church buildings, but many need to rethink their definition of "church" and what the true church is.
The real church of Jesus Christ, is not the one being awarded a place in the world, celebrated by politicians, nations and loved, they are hated as Jesus warned Christians:

Jhn 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.

In other words if your church pastor is being celebrated on magazine covers and invited to the White House or to be a member of the Knights of Malta, or any number of secret and not so secret societies maybe consider if you are being taught truly biblical things?

1Cr 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

When talking to such types, they will agree with you about many things, about the false religions, about some of the errors in the Roman Catholic church, but there is a special blindness that is there when it comes to the evangelical church. But here are the facts, the evangelical church is "fornicating with the kings" just as much. While I do not trust Rense on everything, this article exposing the endless links of evangelical leaders to the powerful, helped to wake me up: The Unholy Alliance: Christianity and the NWO. Reading the book "The Family: The Secret Fundamentalist at the Heart of American Power". will tell you even as a secular book, about how the halls of power and false evangelicalism have married together to deceive people.

Some seem to think deception is impossible in the evangelical churches, and while some of these folks will discern lies and discrepancies in other religions, they seem to ignore their evangelical camp. An odd hypocrisy arises, where they condemn the power pursuits of the Pope and obvious false religionists and they excuse these things in their own camp.

If your church is inviting prime ministers of nations to come do speeches at its pulpits, politicians galore, and joining with new world order endeavors, then maybe its time to ask yourself, what your church is up to on a national scale? Let me rephrase this, if a constant parade of politicians and world power brokers are making the rounds at your church, [even if not at the local but the national scale] take a second look.

Here are some examples:

Benjamin Netanyahu [who also by the way visited with the Pope too, and called on his "moral authority" to rebuke Iran ] speaks at at a Calvary Chapel church in Ft. Lauderdale. It is known that Israeli prime ministers meet with the Pope quite often with even Peres holding a recent meeting.

But this is just one example...we see the parades of kings and bowing before power of many evangelical churches and leaders. Lets not forget the time, that Bush told James Robinson, that "God chose him to lead this nation".

There are many more...The days continue where now the right side of the new world order divide--the Republican party sells itself as "God's party"; I have already posted on the growth of Dominionism several times taking over the churches as well.

Too many do not seem to be able to conceive that many evangelical churches are in the harlot now, and joining it as we speak with wolves in the pulpits. Just because a guy knows the Bible and can remember verses, does not mean he is preaching the truth! Examine for yourself the relationship your church or favorite preachers have with the world. Does the world love them? Are they are part of its political organizations, being lauded by the powerful and elite of this world? If so, take a moment and ask Why?

There is a counterfeit "Christianity", preaching conformity to the world that serves the powers of this world instead of God and it goes beyond the OBVIOUS culprits and much of it is wearing an evangelical mask. Many seem to not be able to conceive of this, they actually seem flabbergasted, how could most of the evangelical world be false too? Well wake up, it is. Jesus Christ asked "..shall he find faith on earth"? for a reason.

2Sa 15:12 And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, [even] from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

The Mark of the Beast: Refuse It!

Watch this video, it speaks for itself, in terms of what is coming down the pike and what is prophesied in the Bible:

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six.

Years ago, I researched what was happening with Verichip, and Digital Angel, and there was a lot more in the news back then about people getting chipped, including at a Club in Spain [the Baha Beach Club] and the New England Journal of Medicine publishing an article by a doctor promoting the use of chips in medicine, for identification and information purposes. There have been recent developments in the "chip" market, with one company calling itself "Positive ID" the merger of Verichip with the Steel Vault Corporation]:

An integral part of the foundation of PositiveID is its radio-frequency identification (RFID) implantable microchip for patient identification, the VeriChip. The company's RFID microchip traces back to the events of September 11, 2001, when New York firemen wrote their badge ID numbers on their chests in case they were found injured or unconscious. It was evident there was a serious need for personal information in emergency situations and the product, modeled after a similar microchip used in pets, evolved from there. The company received FDA clearance for the microchip in October 2004.

Reported in the news, also was the attempted acquisition of Digital Angel, by Positive ID, which failed this September. There are other companies too, in the radio tracking market, such as MicroCHIPS, and Datakey.

Of course they are trying to sell this item as something that will make your life easier, allowing you to be identified in an emergency or keep you from identity theft. Already they have developed technology where people are getting used to waving a card for a credit purchase, why not the right hand next? This does not change the fact that for someone to take a chip like this, they are basically marking their own body as property of the beast system. A "marked" slave as it were. Many nations are passing laws for ID cards and more, that are setting up things for a later implanted mark, even India, is making sure to gather in its poor into the ID card net for now.

One thing, when I was examining "the chip" some years ago, was realizing, that "6" is used within the numbering system, and repeated three times, in the UPC or Universal Product Code. I went and found the inventor of the UPC code's website [George J. Laurer], and found something very odd, he claims this whole "666" thing is "simply "coincidence" and "arbitrary".

There is nothing sinister about this nor does it have anything to do with the Bible's "mark of the beast" (The New Testament, The Revelation, Chapter 13, paragraph 18). It is simply a coincidence like the fact that my first, middle, and last name all have 6 letters. There is no connection with an international money code either.

The assignment of digits to specific patterns was arbitrary.

If their choosing of those patterns was arbitrary [the bars they selected for each number] why on earth would they have chosen by chance, even [consider the Christians in the world] to use "6" three times?

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark [charagma; (Greek charax) meaning to stake into or "stick into"] in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark" -- Rev. 13:16-17a

Looks like many of Chick's warnings here are coming to pass already. The idea even of our world wide computer networks, was unthinkable, even just 25 years ago.

The tracking of people and ID systems are being laid down, now, and those who are paying attention, are preparing themselves spiritually for what this could mean, possibly even within the lifetimes of those reading. There are more prophecies regarding the mark that are of interest. One I have discovered is the warning that the mark will cause "grievous sores":

Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon] them which worshipped his image.

That is very interesting considering there has numerous news accounts of how Verichip and chips like it, are linked to cancerous tumors. As I was researching this article, I found this latest call for diabetic guinea pigs for an implanted chip study by Positive ID.

Other more recent articles have come out talking about all the different uses of the implanted chip, such as in the one called: "Where's Jimmy? Just Google His Bar Code."

Many are realizing the tyranny and control this will bring to human beings, one state [Virginia] passing a law against implantable chips. and organizations like We The People Will Not be Chipped have been formed to protest this encroaching diabolic branding of humans like cattle.

When someone does take a chip, they are basically putting themselves under the ownership of the beast system and Satan. Unlike the Left Behind series which will tell you via it's character Chang who takes the chip and is able to repent of it later, that is not how it works, and the biblical warnings about the chip and mark of the beast need to be taken serious. There are other websites that will allegorize "the mark of the beast" and tell you it is not anything "real" and that those who are warning about the implanted chips are foolish, and rejecting useful technology. Be forewarned about those folks too, I always want to ask them, so how does an allegory, keep you from buying and selling?

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Rick Warren Wants Christians to Outsmart the World!

This one would make me laugh if there wasn't so many people that fall prey to this sort of thinking. Rick Warren says Christians are failing the Battle of the Mind. Hate to tell Rick Warren but Christians are not supposed to battle where supreme intellects beat the stuffing out of the weaker intellects, but allow for the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Bible warns all over about the clever and those always learning but never coming into truth and then there is this verse: 1Cr 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

When I was an Unitarian Universalist, I was surrounded by published authors, college professors and some of the highest IQ folks in the land, smarts doesn't mean truth, which is why it alarms me even more that Rick Warren is coming up with this stuff, telling people: [see article link]

“We must out think, out dream, [and] we must outsmart the world,” said Warren, “not for out benefit but for the glory of God.”

I agree that Christians should have their minds captive to Jesus Christ and avoid satanic entertaiment and about the lies behind sins but here is another weird line from that article. Read this one over again:

"Taking control of the mind begins by not believing everything you think, Warren emphasized."

Wow: talk about a weasle sentence. The more one reads these guys, the more you can see how they sneak stuff in. How do you not believe what you think? I agree that Christians should test all feelings, emotions and thoughts, by God's Word, and ask for the teaching of the Holy Spirit, but what is that stuff telling people not to believe what they think? Sounds like an inverse of moral relativism and almost like he is channeling the Jesuits or something such as when Ignatius Loyola of the Roman Catholic church and head of the Jesuits said "We should always be disposed to believe that that which appears white is really black, if the hierarchy of the Church so decides". Folks it is not wrong to have beliefs, even strong ones, let God dictate them of course instead of preachers like this who tell you not "to believe what you think". The God of the Bible calls us to reason together Isa 1:18. ANY teacher who tells you being a Christian is about shutting down your mind and not asking questions, is one you should run from. I'd be more inclined to give Warren the benefit of the doubt here, if I wasn't so used to confessing "Christians" who believe the greatest sin on earth is to have a belief and stick by it and the other false teachings I've heard from him but something is very wrong with that message.

However overall, if you are a Christian thinking you are going to outsmart anyone, you are going to be prone to the biggest errors, Satan has an IQ of a million points or beyond, and if you do not have the leading and teaching of the Holy Spirit you will be sunk. The smartest people in this world in some ways can be some of the ones who are fooled even more as they do not follow simplicity in Jesus Christ, but every absurd multi-layer fable out there. Praise God for His teaching, instead of worrying about "outsmarting" anyone. The Mensa clubs and college professorships are full of atheists for a reason. The false religions have their scribes galore, filling their heads with vain philosophy, legends and things like canon law. There are "geniuses" among the confessing "Christian" crowd, who out of pride, or never having been truly born again, who let even smarter men sway them into great errors and heresies.

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization is Underway.

The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization is underway, with many supportive evangelicals chiming in. Remember I have done articles exposing this false "unity" movement for the world's evangelicals here.

Welcoming delegates to the Congress, Lausanne Chairman Doug Birdsall said he was looking forward to seeing what God would do in the coming days.

“We have become fragmented again and to some extent we have lost our focus,” he told delegates. “Here, we are on the precipice of what we trust will be God doing something great in our time.”

Birdsall thanked God for the leadership of Billy Graham and John Stott, two of the founding fathers of The Lausanne Movement, but also spoke of his hope for the future of world evangelicalism.

[snip]

The first Lausanne Congress on world evangelization was convened in the Swiss city of Lausanne in 1974 by Billy Graham and produced one of the most important documents in modern day Christianity – the Lausanne Covenant, crafted by Stott.

Like all these type of meetings, they are planning to write or release a "manifesto" of sorts. I am quite sure it will have more to do with calling for "unity". For those who are interested, this blogger who is supportive of Lausanne describes the opening ceremonies. Looks like they definitely have their eye on bringing Africa into the antichrist fold.

For those who do not know Stott, is an Anglican, has said this before: "The visible unity of all professing Christians should be our goal…and evangelicals should join others in the Church of England in working towards full communion with the Roman Catholic Church." Read the article to see even more concerning statements.

This definitely tells us where all this "world evangelical movement" stuff is headed! Realize what Doug Birdsall means when he speaks about unity and the global church: “We want the global church to experience the vitality of the church on this continent - the aspirations, the challenges, the sorrows – and so to be blessed by it. And in turn we want the global church to be a source of blessing,” he said."

Homer Simpson is a Catholic?

Check this article out, it says the Vatican newspaper has declared Homer Simpson as a Catholic. One knows the churches in general are seeking what is called 'cultural relevancy" so this means comments on popular cartoon characters and books. From the article:

The long-running cartoon series explores issues such as family, community, education and religion in a way that few other popular television programmes can match, according to L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's daily broadsheet.

The newspaper acknowledged that Homer snores through the sermons of the Reverend Lovejoy and inflicts "never-ending humiliation" on his evangelical neighbour, Ned Flanders.

But in an article headlined "Homer and Bart are Catholics", the newspaper said: "The Simpsons are among the few TV programmes for children in which Christian faith, religion, and questions about God are recurrent themes."

The family "recites prayers before meals and, in
their own peculiar way, believes in the life thereafter".

It quoted an analysis by a Jesuit priest, Father Francesco Occhetta, of a 2005 episode of The Simpsons, The Father, the Son and the Holy Guest Star, which revolved around Catholicism and was aired a few weeks after the death of Pope John Paul II.

I've seen a few Simpsons episodes over the years, and when watching the show, note the many messages being given through the show, let's not forget that TV programming is actually used for "programming". Is there a reason why Ned Flanders is presented as an "out of touch" oppressive "do-gooder" as an example of the one grown-up "evangelical"? Is there a reason they mocked Bible Prophecy in general when they made fun of end time events? Some time ago I remember seeing an episode, where The Simpsons all visit Israel, and Ned Flanders has no problem with Homer bowing before a very Catholic looking statute and shouts at him, in anger: "Homer Simpson, you are not worth saving!" [what is that supposed to convey to the audience since it is never apologized for?.]

Of course the show is not without its "every religion should come together" message, since towards the end, even Ned Flanders is revealed to be all gung-ho for Homer's message after he gets "Jerusalem syndrome". Homer pronounces himself as a "messiah" declaring everyone to be "ChrisMuJews" and preaches "peace and chicken". Here is a recap here. One does not expect worldly secular cartoons to preach the gospel, but is this message an accident? No way!

But one show that stands out to me and I just happened to see it as a household member had the Simpsons on, was the one that almost seemed like an advertisement for folks to join the Catholic church in 2007. The idea of Protestants having a more depressed 'snooty rich" heaven of wealthy preppies playing badminton vs. the more partying "fun" heaven of the Catholics with wine, Spanish fiestas and Irish dancers was one thing I remember while at least half of the Simpsons family becomes Catholic converts. Of course their blasphemous display of "jesus" had Marge gasping for air, to find he was over in "Catholic heaven" instead of hanging out with the Protestants, See here, I'd stop the video before the last minute so you do not see the breaking of the second commandment, but you can watch a few minutes and see the general gist.

This show was entitled "The Simpsons, The Father, The Son and the Holy Guest Star" [yes blasphemous in the title even] and even here, the world's messages of ecumenism are promoted openly and strongly:

With Bart and Homer both considering joining the Church, Marge (worried she might be alone in Protestant Heaven while Bart and Homer are in Catholic Heaven) seeks help from Rev. Lovejoy and Ned Flanders, who agree to stop them. While they are learning about First Communion, Marge, Lovejoy, and Ned capture Bart.On the road, Marge and Lovejoy try to bring Bart back to the "one true faith": The Western Branch of American Reform Presbylutheranism. Back at the house, Lisa agrees with Homer and Bart's desire to join a new faith. Even after getting laughed at for being Buddhist by Fr. Sean, she says that Marge is taking Bart to a Protestant Youth Festival. Homer and Fr. Sean then leave in immediate pursuit. At the Festival, Marge fails to bribe Bart with the banal Christian rock of Quiet Riot (Pious Riot after their conversion). However, he agrees after he plays some paintball. Homer and Fr. Sean arrive with a motorcycle, shoot Marge's hair with some paintball bullets and engage in a Mexican standoff with Ned and Lovejoy. Bart says it is stupid that all the different forms of Christianity are feuding.

That's it, the ecumenical message in a nutshell and on what is supposedly a "secular cartoon". But when watching TV, realize even the shows, that are seemingly "innocent" [I don't count the Simpsons among them even if it has a few funny jokes] all have a message for you. Realize how many of the unsaved are watching this, thinking how timely it is, and how many think it would be a great idea for all religions to join together and positive messages about the Catholic church.

Ecumenical Teachers at Calvary Chapel Bible College?

I know probably by now Calvary Chapel feels like I am picking on them, but the more and more I have examined this church, red flags jump out at me, constantly. I have no regrets in leaving. My worries are for the good people in the pews trusting in some leaders who do not deserve that trust. There are some who are born again, and I am praying the Holy Spirit warns them of things too. Almost every church group out there is falling away and even independent fundamentalist baptist churches are being infiltrated especially by Dominionists or those teaching false Calvinist or other theologies.

One of the main reasons I had to walk out of Calvary Chapel and never really belonged was their more neo-evangelical view about ecumenism vs. biblical separation from the one world religion. When having discussions about this online, some Calvary Chapelists would actually ask me: "What one world religion?" In this case, I think about what their particular teachers must be neglecting to tell them. On message boards, I saw Calvary Chapelists including one claiming to be an intern pastor [he very well could have been] posting against "schism" the same way a Catholic would [where the greatest sin is leaving a church] and one was praising the Creeds of Roman Catholic councils. Things really have gone off the rails.

One thing about the falling away churches overall, Satan has used the seminaries to infiltrate and bring in false doctrines, Catholicism, doctrines of demons, vain philosophies and ecumenism. Influence the young men who become pastors, take them away from the Bible and false teachings will proliferate. Subtle deceptions to sidetrack them from the truth and lead them to compromise after compromise. There is a reason some refer to the seminaries as cemeteries.

The Catholic and mainline Protestant ones already have their students focus on questioning the authorship of the gospels, endless classes on Plato, Socrates, humanism, liberation theology and other distractions from scripture, but this does not mean other Bible colleges and other places haven't been led down the same false paths too. They got their Jesuits and others coming in to influence them to be future signers of ecumenical documents like Catholics and Evangelicals Together or the Manhattan Declaration.

These teachers as victims of indoctrination themselves or willful deceivers are everywhere, and most of them are teaching acceptance of Catholicism [even if they admit some errors] as a fellow Christian church that is part of the "body of christ" and promoting the ecumenical movement. Most scoff at Alberto Rivera but his claims of the Catholic church infiltrating Protestant [and now evangelical] seminaries, seems to be coming more true then ever before.

Looking at the Calvary Chapel Bible College list of teachers, one interesting teacher I see on their Guest Teachers and Lecturers List, is Dr. Norm Geisler. I remember this name from earlier, and know he is one of those evangelicals who has a more watered down view of Rome out there. Here one writer in an article entitled: "Jesuit-trained Evangelical Leader President Norman L. Geisler's Role in Destroying Evangelical Christianity in America" shows some major concerns. He warns about Francis Beckwith too, another evangelical who headed The Evangelical Theological Society who returned to the Catholic church in 2007. There are many out there like this. Some of them come in teach the evangelicals for a time and then swim the Tiber.

Norm Geisler co-authored a book with Joshua M. Betancourt called "Is Rome the True Church: A Consideration of the Roman Catholic Claim". Now this sounds good doesn't it? The book does explore some errors. But realize this, his co-author went to go on to convert to Catholicism. Mr. Beckwith was quite happy with these turn of events here. Many Catholics too remarked on this as well as this Catholic blogger who had praise for Geisler and what he has learned from him:

A Consideration of the Roman Catholic Claim. Geisler, a Calvinist who got his Ph.D. from Loyola, is
respected by a lot of Catholics
(I've never read him, but I've heard good things), and the question being tackled
is one of obvious interest to Catholics, since if we're right on it, the Great Schism and Reformation are over (or ought to be).

By the way, I do not know if he is correct about him being a Calvinist, but he definitely got the education from the Jesuits [Loyola being a Jesuit university]. This proves nothing, as there are many who go to Catholic school who renounce what they were taught when they are born again but given his would be belief about the Reformation above, it is of concern. He also has co-written other books, one that points out the agreements, evangelicals have with Catholics called: "Roman Catholics and Evangelicals: Agreements and Differences".

What are Christians who know the truth about the Pope as antichrist to think of Norm Geisler's comments like these? Here we see the praise for the papacy from him:

"Relativism, pluralism and naturalism are the three main foes of evangelicalism today and they're the main foes of conservative Roman Catholics," said Norman Geisler, president of Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, N.C., and co-author of Roman Catholics and Evangelicals: Agreements and Differences.

"We rejoice in the choice because he's going to hold the line and he's not going to allow the liberal element in the Catholic Church to reverse any of those things."

Here we see the same deception of the "culture wars", the idea that the Pope is against "pluralism" [beyond that of Rome exalting it's own throne] is beyond absurd! What is the Pope going to hold the line on? More deception? That is all we have seen since 2005.

There are other areas of concern too, in seeing what Dr. Norm Geisler stands for and teaches, as shown in this book "The Bible, Natural Theology and Natural Law: Conflict Or Compromise?" by Robert Mornay where it points out: [Read page 311, there's more there]

"Dr. Norman Geisler was the first to openly break with the historic evangelical position on Aquinas. In his book defending Thomas Aquinas, he stated
that since the previous generation of Protestant apologists, such as Carl Henry, Francis Schaeffer, Van Ti, etc were now dead, the time was not ripe for him and other "Thomists" to come out of the closet"

So basically this man, has made it clear, he adheres to [in my words but summing up what a Thomist basically is]"the philosophical school of a Catholic priest and saint". This statement is accurate, one can google for themselves, Geisler's involvement with Thomism. Also realize Aquinas supported the Catholic church Inquisitions, and offered his own advice on "The Treatment of Heretics".

So what are teachers like Geisler doing at Calvary Chapel Bible College and also heading seminaries: earlier at the Southern Evangelical Seminary and now Veritas Evangelical Seminary? There are strong ties to Calvary Chapel with Veritas and here is up coming conference in November [being held at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa] with Geisler as one of the speakers.

It saddens me that these type of teachers who while they may announce Catholicism as holding errors do not discern what it it truly is [the harlot, and leader of Mystery Babylon as warned in scripture], and bring some of its teachings, philosophical and otherwise, into seminaries and evangelical churches, and promote ecumenism. While we do not know the specifics of the motivations or influence of specific folks like Beckwith, Geisler, etc, I do believe planned Catholic/Jesuit infiltration and influence of the churches has happened and has been going for years. This is why the seminaries across a wide scope from Fuller to many others have fallen away and why ecumenism is promoted as well as false theology.

2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
