Questioning Tim LaHaye

Tim LaHaye is popular in Calvary Chapel circles being invited to many of their churches. There are many other churches and Christian organizations, that invite Tim LaHaye to speak, and this was one recent Bible conference, that was held in Canada which included acouple popular teachers within Calvary Chapel circles. I find myself asking, given red flags were raised to me concerning Tim LaHaye even in my early days as a Christian, why is everyone so readily embracing what this man has to say without any prayer, or research?

Tim LaHaye, is a popular evangelical teacher, who has written many books expounding his Pre-Trib teachings, and is best known for being the co-author of the Left Behind series. He and Thomas Ice run the Pre-Trib Research Center. Much has been written about this man, with many websites warning about him, his teachings and more.

Even worse are his political associations, which have included being one of the founders of the politically involved Council for National Policy and dealings with the so called "Reverend" Moon. [yes that Reverend Moon, the guy who has announced himself to be the world's messiah]. One author describes the scene in the book "Moon Rising: How Reverend Moon Created the Washington Times, Seduced the Religious Right, and Built an American Kingdom" : [as you read this remember Moon was imprisoned for tax evasion:]

"LaHaye paid Moon a tearful visit in prison, according to Bo Hi Pak. "Reverend Moon, I apologize on behalf of my government," LaHaye had said holding the hands of the man who was the newly minted Reverend Doctor Moon. The colonel recalled that LaHaye told Moon, "Your suffering will cleanse the sins of

LaHaye is not the only one who has been linked to Moon or having organizations that have taken Moon donations, there have been many other famous "pastors" and teachers, who have been exposed as being involved, including the now deceased Jerry Falwell.

Even liberals have come out calling LaHaye a shill and questioning the weird "Christian Right" associations. It doesn't take much research to find out, that a lot of what this man has been involved with is quite questionable.

After I was newly saved, having read the Left Behind series as a Catholic, and reading my Bible, there was a lot that was majorly "off" I never liked Left Behind, and in response got and read the book "God's Wrath on Left Behind" and was glad someone else was noticing and exposing the endless deceptions, and anti biblical messages within the books. Reading Left Behind books themselves was quite odd, realizing half the characters run around "working for the antichrist" which, seems to give the message, "hey its OK to work for a man indwelt with Satan" to Christians along with the even crazier insidious anti-life messages and the odd conjecture of one character in the books, being able to take the mark, and then later repent, which is against what the Bible teaches. Oh lest anyone forgets, what about the implicit ecumenical message of having both the Pope and Mother Teresa raptured? Read "God's Left Behind" to see these endless errors in depth, and check out this website.

Tim LaHaye has been tied to many ecumenical doings via his political endeavors. Moral Majority which he helped to co-found, brought Mormons, Catholics, and mainline Protestants together to fight the Dominionist flavored "culture-wars" I've already warned about on this blog. This group along with others, has helped form the foundation for today's Dominionists to marry state and religion. His wife Beverly LaHaye has worked with the politically oriented Concerned Women For America.

Do your research, there is a lot more to find out.

This is definitely a teacher out there, too many are blindly following, as he expounds his rapture teachings; emphasizing Christians won't be here for any trouble to come, and the message that everything is the "left's fault" when it's obvious many Republicans brought this country to the place it is too. Christians need to start reading their Bibles, and stop letting the politically connected [of this world] types lead the way, who skew Bible prophecy to mislead millions.

2Cr 11:13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 2Cr 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2Cr 11:15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Definite wolf.

I agree and it should be obvious to any Christian who researches this man.

I believe the pre-trib rapture (we don't have to debate it, that is my belief), but I also believe that people like Tim LaHaye are plants put there to disrupt true understanding of spiritual matters. They take a true issue like the pre-trib rapture, and infiltrate with these wolves like LaHaye, to throw people off. Having the "pope" and "mother" Teresa raptured, is an endorsement of catholicism.

In fact, if you begin to examine the possibility of catholicism being the head of all that is wrong in the world, you find a lot of things begin to make sense. Catholicism is a counterfeit, but why are so many supposed "evangelicals" joining up with catholicism, and/or defending catholicism?

That is a question you won't get an honest answer about.

As an add-on to my last comment, why does Tim LaHaye use the Freemasonry Knights' Templar symbol on the cover of his book, "Power of the Cross"?

If you see catholicism as being the infiltrator, using people like LaHaye and their freemasonry (that they pretend to be against but actually control via the Jesuits), then you see that catholicism is at work to deceive, as they always have.

Rome (we can also say Babylon) never really went away, and it is coming back to power.

Anon #1 I agree with you about Tim LaHaye, being a possible plant to disrupt understanding of spiritual matters. To me, the interactions with Moon basically scream he is not what he represents himself as being, even if we were to give him the benefit of the doubt and consider him a very misguided person with sincere intentions. The political involvements too which have set things up for the NWO right-left divide in America, misleading tons of Christians into Dominionism also speak for themselves. I agree that the rapture of those two figures as well is an endorsement of Catholicism. We are also on the same page, regarding Catholicism being the "mother of all abominations" and I believe all the deception leads home to Rome, that includes the vast array of ecumenical evangelicals [don't miss the Global Faith Forum, and Lausanne stuff I posted today], I believe that all comes down from Rome. False Interfaith dialogue has now been moved fully into the evangelical church. It's about subtle deception. I even had the interesting time of dealing with Calvary Chapelists defending Roman Catholic 'church history", early church fathers, and "creeds", so the infiltration has worked, and worked quite well. The evangelical church in my opinion as a whole has fallen off the cliff.

You won't get an honest answer from those in such spiritual darkness, I've been in enough discussions with them, to know the majority are programmed to follow the hirelings blindly. What is scary are the ex-Catholics who should know better, but accept these things at face value, such as the CCOF statement I posted from Calvary Chapel pastors, that definitely shows Catholic influence.

Anon #2, one thing I want to state is deceivers always mark themselves, so that others 'in the know" or other members of the "brotherhood" recognize each other. There is a reason that guy who wanted to burn the Koran, got his picture taken in front of a Templar crown, and there is a reason LaHaye has marked his books with full blown occult symbols.

It took me years to figure this out, but the Masonic orders as a whole, are ruled by Rome. They play a good game of claiming the Masons infiltrated THEM. Even looking at LaHaye's involvement with Council for National Policy, that group is full of Knights of Malta members which do the bidding of the Pope.

Rome [Babylon] never went away, its always been present and it's power is now growing as you said, and worldwide as well.

I too have heard supposed "Bible believing" groups defending the false catholic "church history", and I would shake my head. And then I realize, there is much lie out there, everywhere, and little truth out there.

It's good to see others that understand how Rome has always worked to infiltrate, they are continually doing it with ecumenicalism, feeding their lies to supposed "Bible teaching" churches, and taking control of politics. Infiltration is their main mode of operation.

Anon, its infiltrated everywhere, churches that used to know and preach the truth, are now running back to Rome's councils, and early church fathers. The Emergent movement within evangelical churches has play a large role in this as well. Jesus asked this, Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Most of the world is under the delusions.
