The Mustard Tree Desires World Power

Matt.13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying,
The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed,
which a man took, and sowed in his field:

32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds:but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

More and more when I am out witnessing in the world, I have non-Christians tell me 'Christianity is EVIL', it only wants to oppress people, and shut down real thinking. One person even recently told me, "Christianity is about "mind control". On blogs with unbelievers, many have spoken of the "Christian" quest for power, worldwide. Sadly they are not incorrect though without the Holy Spirit they do not see the big picture and do not understand that there is difference between true Christianity and its counterfeit. Satan as the "prince of the air" [Eph 2:2] is running the show right now on this earth and it shows even in the majority of the churches. If you do not stay in prayer, and in God's Word, there are many who will try and lead you down a false carnal road and seek to do so in the name of "Jesus".

Those who seek after mammon, political largess, profit, world power are growing. The Dominionists and their supporters who make use of their massive flag-waving patriotic public displays which tug on the heartstrings of "God and country", via well known media moguls and the connected, exploit emotions to sell wars for the global elites, get certain parties elected and other agendas. Glen Beck's recent rally would be an example of this as well as May Day 2010.

Good people are deceived, who do see some of the real troubles over the horizon, be it about socialism, growing immorality, and the growth of totalitarian power, but do not realize, on the other side, there can be evils as well. The wicked Nazis were able to claim power as Germans in the 1930s had valid concerns about encroaching Communism.

History repeats itself and there are many who exploit religion for power and work against what Jesus Christ taught. Dominionism is a false theology where they believe they are to take over the world for God. Watch this video and see what the Seven Mountain Mandate is about. Many politicians are signed on or connected to this including Sarah Palin. Others have always promoted Reconstructionism, such as Pat Robertson. Peter C. Wagner is another well known Dominonist teacher with Lance Wallnau. There are many others. The Seven Mountain mandate is where these churches teach it is the Christian church's job to take over business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, the family and religion. This is basically what the years worth of carnal "culture wars" have led up to, culminating in this desire for global and political power. As I have said over and over, ALL will be joining "the one mind of the beast" who do not have a true relationship with Jesus Christ, even the evangelicals are being led down a disastrous false road here.

In the Bible, these things are warned of. Jesus Christ did not teach 'conquer in his name" [Luke 9:54-55] or "make war" with the non-Christians. When you see those who talk more about bombing people rather then witnessing to them, that will give you a clue. When you hear politicians and religious leaders talk about bringing non-believers to submission via a theocracy, [instead of preaching the gospel to them] RUN! When one apostles tried that gambit asking "Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?", Jesus basically told them they were of the spirit of Satan. The Emergents teach the culture trumps everything, while the Great Commission to preach God's Word is betrayed.

As you read your Bible, where do the apostles or Jesus preach "go and conquer"? Satan offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world, and He turned him down! What are these churches leaders doing but taking up the same offer, feeling they must "take back the mountain of entertainment" etc of each one of these seven areas!

"Reclaiming Mountains", is being of THIS world, and loving this world, and taking Satan up on his offer of world kingdoms and powers. Do not join those preaching these false things and go to your Bible, and pray about this about what these leaders are selling:

Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Mat 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

These leaders are serving this world and are of this world. The Bible tells us true Christians will be hated by this world, not loved and adored by the political powers of this world. Too many are looking to religious leaders, politicians, and others for their voice of truth, and placing trust and hope in this world and its political systems, instead of putting God first and His Word. The evil powers and principalities of this world are in literal over-drive, and now is the time to keep to God's Word, and seek solutions there, rather then the latest political party, or rally to tug on your heartstrings, and many others with their carnal answers.

Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Thank you for this. I have just become aware of a family member's belonging to this group of people, under Rick Joyner. I attended a church service recently that I was invited to, and instead of prayer, they actually stood and pledged the wealth of the cities, etc. to God. I wondered which God they are talking about?? No Bibles, no scripture, no worship that we could sing along with - only more of chanting. I'm worried because so many are falling under the spells of the "annointing", the "fire", the "river" and talk about being soaked, marinated. The service made us very uneasy, and I was the only one with an open Bible. This information is extremely relevant right now.

I have actually been in this myself for the last five years and only recently have I been questioning all of the teaching I had been receiving. When my pastor who was now calling herself an "Apostle Pastor", could not answer my questions from scripture, I was asked to leave the church. We also as leaders watched many Chuck Pierce 'Starting the Year off Right Conferences" and even were told to act out many of the "prophetic" acts they were doing in their meetings. I have also been taught C. Peter Wagner's teachings in leadership. Now they are currently learning all about the 7 Mountains in their home groups. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Anon,

I am glad you are taking a look at these false teachings. The Holy Spirit most likely is warning you and telling you to depart from these things. One thing I think of is when Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, Jesus said NO, and these religious figures have said yes.

Frankly Dominionism is Catholicism and 'church militant" stuff rescripted for evangelicals.

God bless you, I will pray for you. I know these types tell dissenters to leave churches. I do believe folks are called to leave false churches. Praise God, that you are seeing these teachers for what they are!

Thanks for this. It is the first time I have heard of this '7 mountains' movement, immediately it brought to mind revelation 17:9 "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth."
I'm a fairly new christian but I read the bible constantly and am very worried by what I hear being taught in my church today (and the churches I visit).
Thanks for the info, I was being deceived myself into thinking we need a fundamentalist kind of christian-politcal movement to counter extremist liberalism when I came across your page. Praise God!
May the LORD bless you and keep you brother.

Laney,

Welcome to the blog,

I have mentioned that on a blog article before, how their arrogance in even naming the 7 mountains movement SEVEN MOUNTAINS, was blatant marking that movement for Satan. Revelation 17 is one of the most well-known verses out there. How could they NOT know, that 7 mountains is a mark of the harlot? It is impossible. So the name was not by accident.

I refuse to align with any fundamentalist Christian political movement. Politics of this world brings deceit.

Someone needs to tell some of the gung ho culture warriors Jesus didn't walk around dividing everyone into the "conservative" and "liberal" camp.

God bless you too. One thing I am female, wanted to add that.

Yes, thats one thing that always gets me; how the clergy clearly violate what is written down. I once tried dicussing aspects of idolatry and occult symbolism in both protestant and catholic churches with their leaders they were extremely dismissive and patronising. One of these anglican churches [called St Mary's1] had a big statue of her on the alter and carried out smudging inscence ritual. The members of the church seemed a bit too new age for me and when questioned knew very little of the bible. Why are these people so blind?
